So I go to Advanced Auto Parts and figure they can test it, they did, and I asked them about charging it instead. So they take it out and charge it overnight. Next day I go there, they put it back in, then I was putting a bracket on that I forgot about, arced the battery, blew a fuse, so they checked that out too, replaced the fuse and everything works great. My total bill? $3.74 for the fuse. They checked the battery for free, took it out, charged it and put it back in and checked the fuse I blew....all for free! And friendly about it all too. I can almost guarantee you if I brought it in to any service shop they would tell me I need a new battery. Hats off to this place for service unparalleled.

My old beater Subaru that I keep to save the new car from getting wrecked had a dead battery from lack of use. I went to the store to buy a charger but instead they sold me a terminal protection kit for a couple of bucks and lent me, LENT ME, a little charger/jumper device because I couldn't jump the car with my Prius. The two guys there were full of ideas that would save me money and were just so helpful my mouth fell open. (Really) I've run into maybe 5 different employees here, all have been remarkably considerate. What a great place!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! They used to be a reputable place. Not…read moreany more. I took it in for electrical problems. They told me I needed a new starter, so I had them replace it. They also said the brake pedal went too low, so brakes needed to be bled and refill fluid. Didn't change the pedal at all. They also told me we needed a new battery. Yeah, no kidding! The battery in the vehicle when I took it in was less than a year old. Funny how when I got it back, the battery in it now was 1 1/2 years old and wouldn't hold a charge. Since they stole my good battery and gave me a bad one, I couldn't even get Autozone to exchange it because it was some off brand I never heard of. It cost me another $180 to replace what they stole. VERY SHADY operation. Go somewhere else and save yourself a ton of hassle and money. Oh, the electrical problem never got fixed. But they charged me to diagnose and do nothing for it. The vehicle wouldn't even start when I picked it up. Dead battery. Again! I took it to someone else who actually KNEW what he was doing and got the electrical fixed. What a waste of time and money!

She developed a thirst for blood, and would drive full-speed ahead to wherever she wanted once I turned the key in her ignition. Driving her became scary and I planned on bringing her get her looked at on my day off. However, she couldn't wait, and upon starting would jump to 4500 RPMs and wouldn't come out of park. I chose Denny's because it was local to my home, and my boyfriend had use them years ago for an older Cadillac and received great service. I can't stress how wonderful Denny's was during the whole fiasco. Denny (the owner, who was been doing his thing for over thirty years) took extra time with me, even after hours, on the phone to get a better understanding of what I had experienced with my car and I never felt rushed or embarrassed. He gave me honest answers and competitive and fair prices. Upon completion, after research, I know Denny's saved me over $700. My car is back to her normal and even better self, and I will always chose Denny's in the future for her needs.
