I found Ryan's Auto Care on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I'm usually cynical about auto repair places but was very pleased with the service I received. I mentioned a few issues I had in addition to the main problem - wipers quit working. They looked my car over and found the problems, providing me with details and what could be fixed now and what could wait. They provided me details, cost, etc. and kept me apprised of progress. Additionally, they provided me a loaner car. This was a godsend as I was going to daily radiation therapy for cancer. I was so pleased with their care, I also asked them to give me an oil change as I knew it would be needed soon. I feel the cost of the work was very fair and will have the continue with the other things we found and put on hold. Great business! read more

People wonder if it makes sense to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars repairing an older (or just plain old) vehicle instead of buying a new vehicle. Spending money repairing an old car can feel like lighting cash on fire before throwing that burning cash down a dark, deep, sinkhole. And they are more than trustworthy enough to tell the truth. It's not a conflict of interest for them to tell you to NOT give them money to fix your current ride. Because they are confident in your loyalty...loyalty that they have earned. This means that they are free to advise you to spend today's repair money on a newer car. If you do, they know you'll be back for the maintenance of that new vehicle. Current car or newer one, you'll still be paying them for vehicle maintenance if you're wise. And because their prices are reasonable (not free...they need to stay in business!), the decision to say goodbye to your current vehicle can be postponed even longer. Another thing I especially appreciate is how they help you prioritize your vehicle's repairs into MUST-DO, SHOULD-DO, COULD-DO, MIGHT-DO, and SHOULDN'T-DO! They don't actually label it like this. They just explain where your vehicle's current condition is and help you prioritize the work to be done. I'm not an auto expert. But then, I don't need to be. Because I have trusted the expert advice of Ryan's Auto Care to keep 3 vehicles in safe and reliable motion, I don't need any automotive certifications. Over my 12+ year relationship with Ryan's Auto Care, they have NEVER let me down or even given me any reason to second-guess, worry about, or regret any of my automotive decisions when I followed their advice. I went in because my door latch was stuck and I had tried everything to fix it, but couldn't get it to budge. Despite the fact that it was about 15 minutes until they were supposed to close, Ben came out to look at it and fixed it in about 3 seconds. Not only did he solve the problem, but he took the time to explain why it happened and how I could fix it next time. He was caring, helpful, and didn't treat me like I was stupid. I called these guys up out of the blue, because my wife was up there for vacation and the flex hose of the vehicle blew. They said they were pretty busy today, but to have her come by and we'll see what the problem is. 3 hours later, the problem is fixed and my wife is back on the road.
