This was such a fun class! If you're a beginner do not hesitate to sign up.They are extremely helpful and friendly. You start off with a very informative in classroom setting at their location, where you go over all the basics and then head over to the gun range (outside field). All the instructors and friendly and help you with everything. Don't be embarrassed to ask questions they are ALL extremely knowledgeable. He went out of his way to find an instructor in my area that would get me thru the pre-requisite course required to be able to enroll in his course, a task which i was being passed around to different instructor with out any success until TJ got involves and lined me us with someone who was in my area. This was a renewal class for me and the quality of instruction just keeps getting better. TJ's technique of using the quiz format to elicit questions and conversation about current events and law is excellent. He has a depth of practical knowledge that is hard to find. I also want to thank his associate Trish. I am a senior CCW licensee and by nighttime my energy is pretty low. Exceptional class! New to guns, I took the beginner class and was a bit cautious and nervous but by the time I was done I have much greater confidence, knowledge and proficiency. I was most impressed with the one on one ratio of instructors to students during the different types of range shooting drills. After getting to know various handguns, I now have a best fit for me. This is the second time my wife have been through the introductory course, but they were 15 years apart. This time we included our two teenage boys and three cousins. TJ and his team are top notch! I took the basic handgun class and it was very informative, fun and serious. Safety was also a key focus throughout the course. The basic handgun is good for newbies and veteran shooters who want a quick tune up on their skills. (Ill probably take it again for fun! And take some new people). I also took the CCW certificate 2 day course. This too was very hands on and really prepared you to get to know your gun better. I decided to try out the Basic Handgun course to take my friend who is interested in purchasing her first firearm. It happened to be a small class that night, but that worked in our favor. TJ has a very hands-on teaching style that allowed us to actively participate throughout the course. Even during the instructional portion you are up out of your seat learning proper posture and position and bringing a firearm up to sight. I am not a beginner but I still learned some new tricks and was not bored. This is a pretty fun class, and all of TJ's assisting instructors are so fun and helpful on the range. I can't wait to take another class. If you are looking for hands-on learning, or just a little extra practice & some friendly competition then this is a great course to start with. The CCW Night and Advanced CCW Challenge are two of the best handgun trainings I have ever participated in. You will be challenged to react to different scenarios and perform under simulated stress. These are a must for any CCW licensee. read more

One of a kind experience with super attentive coaches. I attended the allsafe basic handgun training this weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it. We got approximately five hours of training with handguns (+2hrs classroom) in an outdoor setting, and we tried eight different handguns by various manufacturers and calibers. Almost one coach to every person, it was a safe and fun way to receive instructions on the proper handling of a firearm. I highly recommend the coarse. read more

I took the NRA PPOTH Instructors Course last weekend. TJ was awesome. he runs a great course, covers everything you need to succeed. is patient and very helpful. He had fantastic assistant Instructor for the live fire portion of the course on both days. I always felt safe while on the range and we had numerous awesome learning experience to complete our task properly. We were offered to come back and teach with him to further enhance our skills at no charge. What a great two days. I learned a lot and look forward in taking further courses with this group, even though I don't live near them. I took the CCW Night refresher course, to review and practice skills that I do not get to use on a regular basis. The course was informative and fun at the same time. It shows you what you need to work on to stay up to speed on Gun handling out of a holster. TJ and the other Instructors were great and easy to work with. I am a veteran and gun owner. I signed my daughter and myself up for this course as I wanted her to learn from someone other than myself. My daughter has never held a weapon in her hand. TJ was very patient when we asked many questions and did a great job teaching the class. We tested 5 different caliber weapons and my daughters favorite was the 45. He gave her enough confidence ,through teaching, for her to feel comfortable handling the weapons. His staff was great as well. I am happy that I took the course as it gave me a different perspective from prior teachings. I learned much throughout the class. I highly recommend this course to all. This was my first class with TJ and the team and I felt like I came to the right place. I took the CCW / Drawing from concealment class. I found all of the instructors and attendees friendly and helpful. I learned some potentially lifesaving lessons as well, which is the reason I signed up.
