We loved this store! It was our first time shopping here. We live out of state and when we saw this place, we were excited to check it out. It was sad to see that this type of store was surrounded by homeless people outside. It does discourage people from entering. But there were homeless people all around the area. AllSaints is a British brand that has made its way to the US market. I must say I am a bit of a Anglophile, so the stylings offered at this store are welcomed here in Seattle. However don't take my liking of the clothing aesthetics of the apparel as my positive review for this shop. This is unfortunately where the positivity ends. The store is two floors. Women's apparel on the street level and men's located on the lower level. Whereas the women's section has decent spacing, shopping in the men's apparel seems like shopping in the basement or a dungeon. It does not help that English colors are rather of a melancholic feel. Just dark. The pricing of the apparel is on the high side. Cardigans can run in the mid-$100s for instance. However, sales like the after Christmas one they are running make the prices more reasonable. As for service, it is a bit offputting and pretentious feeling. The men's section is a bit small, so I felt like an intruder storming the castle by shopping here. I have to say that while I like the brand, I don't really like shopping at the store. There is a better selection at the online store, us.allsaints.com. More deals are online too. Plus they have free shipping too, though it is a bit on the slow side. Though if I am feeling like buying local, I guess I would give the store a try. To sum it up, I like the brand, but didn't like the store. It just feels like any other clothing chain. Came in to the store last weekend after seeing a pair of boots online that I wanted to try in-person before buying. The people who work here are awesome and have incredible style. It's kind of intimidating at first but the girl I was working with (tall skinny tattooed girl) was so nice and pulled everything I was looking for. She asked me a bunch of questions to get a sense of my style and then helped me put together a couple work and dinner outfits based on my budget. What is the purpose of a clothing store? This is a question the staff may want to ponder because at AllSaints it doesn't seem the answer is "to sell clothes". I came in here ready to spend big and treat myself to a leather jacket. That's actually why I came downtown. I was excited and looking forward to my visit at this store. I work out, lift heavy weights and have strong shoulders and biceps to prove it. Unfortunately, I couldn't even squeeze my forearm in the XS that the worker handed me. When I inquired about larger sizes I was told "sure we have some" but not assisted in finding any that fit me. There were many styles and not being an expert in leather jackets, it wasn't easy for me to see what might look good on me. On top of that every jacket i could see was cropped length. It's 2022, even Victorias Secret is embracing a wider variety of sizes and models. If you are curvy, strong, or anything other than a size XS, go to Nordstrom instead, AllSaints isn't ready for us. read more

This store needs to get their act together. We came at noon and it was supposed to be open but they said they were closed until 1 because of "smoke in the air." So we waited for one hour and they were still closed and just hanging around inside while the doors were locked. We called and the worker said they couldn't open with just 2 employees. Umm why are there only 2 employees there when it was supposed to open at 10? And at least open the doors for us and let us shop with the doors locked if you're waiting for a guard. You just lost hundreds of dollars. Just had customer service and can't believe whoever runs this place would allow that. read more

When I walked in last week, a lot of the items reminded me of Steampunk (not in a geeky cosplay way - it's done fashionably, subtly)... I cannot wait to see if this will change much next season. Everyone in this store looks so hip and cool, I feel inadequate (see: my review for All Saints in NYC). Upstairs has a few men's items but it's mostly women's. Downstairs is all men's items. All Saints clothing is pretty grungy and cool. The prices are also pretty high. I recommend stopping by when there are sales, but even sale prices are also not particularly cheap. For example, I ogled lots of pretty flowy/sexy dresses but they were still $75-$200 on sale. They do have very slim cuts though, so do not be surprised if you have to go up a size. They have lovely leather jackets and wool pea coats here, for guys and girls. Their sweaters are either merino wool or cashmere and they look absolutely swell. Do note that 99% of their items here are dark colors (a few light colored shirts here and there though). Their return policy is kind of weird though. Only store credit or exchange, so you better be sure that you're committed to having your money tied up at All Saints. read more

Friendly staff and a go-to shop for all things leather and dark. Sizes run slim as my friend who's typically a 2 or 4 with narrow shoulders couldn't fit into a couple size 4 leather jackets. I personally love their handbags and have been eyeing them for several years. I saw a sign that said 60% off, and decided to check it out just on a whim. Wasn't even planning on shopping today. There are two sets of doors because the store is on the corner of two streets. One set of doors was locked, and I looked through glass and saw where a guy was leaving. So, I walked there. I saw the store keeper inside and we locked eyes. I'VE HAD BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AT GOODWILL AND EVEN A FEW WALMART GREETERS... Than at AllSaints. I once HAD loved all of Allsaints clothes, and have easily dropped over $1500 in this store. HOWEVER (and this is why I'll never shop at any of their stores again): **UPDATE** The women (there were 3) told who told me take these items to a tailor to have them fixed, and bring back the receipt for a refund of the tailoring fees. I went right across the street to none other than Nordstroms for an alteration... CHARGES CAME TO BE $130 TO FIX THESE PIECES. I then brought the receipt back, and to her own disbelief of the cost of fixing these items, they then asked for an itemized receipt with the cost of each- then I brought that copy back. Once they took those copies, they then said I could not yet be re-imbursed for the tailoring, because it was over an amount that they'd typically allow. MIND YOU- I had already paid for the tailoring on the premise that I would be given my money back in the first place. I now, am out $130 because All Saints does not want to directly pay for the several faulty items that I am now stuck with. .... Of the 10 or so pieces I have bought over the past 11 months of the year they've been in Seattle... 7 of those have RIPS/TEARS/HOLES all over (all within 0-1 wash) THE WORST HAPPENED YESTERDAY: (walking to my downtown office) wearing my puffy toggle coat. This coat was bought for $500 and later (yesterday) I reach my hand in a pocket to feel polyester instead of the flannel that lined the pockets... And LIKE USUAL- there was a GAPING seam running up the side of this coated cotton jacket. When working at a high-end buying office, and coming in from the pouring rain wearing a ripped jacket- is embarrassing to say the least besides unprofessional. About my other pieces: I had (again) LOVED their Chino's- they fit and feel like a dream, but at a price. That price is you're buying a pair of pants that will literally last you only 1-12 months. LITERALLY day after purchasing my first Allsaints Chino's, at work, I get off of my chair and hear RIIIIIIIIIP! There's a hole the size of my butt right down the middle (thanks AllSaints). I'm 5'11 and 140 lbs. so I can say, my ass isn't one the size of Texas, and not have I ever ripped a piece of clothing much less this quickly... ANYWAYS- 3 chinos later and the same thing happens, except in multiple places (and not just along seams, but random places in fabric where even little movement occurs). This kind of consistency is poor craftsmanship. Poor quality, but at what price? Great fashion and a color palette? Last, but not least... $150 and a Merino wool sweater later. I wear this for a week... Only to find extreme pilling on the back (even my H&M Merino wool sweaters have yet to pill to this extent for the past 3 years I've had them). Along the large balls of pilling. Again, back at work my employee stops me and says "Sir, you have some holes in your sweater." now tell me, but how the hell do I have holes, HOLES after 1 week? This sweater was beer washed and worn twice. I'll never get my money back, and they refuse to change to store credit (some pieces decidedly fall apart after that glorious 30 day return for store credit policy to buy Ben more of their shit wrapped in great colors and fit. Hopefully my extremely poor life choices of shopping at this trojan horse of poor quality has convinced you, otherwise see for yourself, but I would not condone spending a pretty penny, if any penny there, just because of poor practice. On a last note. I have contacted the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and filed a claim, so that I and any other customer will get their money back should this scam happen to them as well. But I personally had enough dealing with this bulkshit that landed for our lovely UK. Other than that? If you're big into sewing or collecting vintage sewing machines, this store will really upset you. No... they DON'T sell sewing equipment. It's a clothing store! In fact, the storefront is so overcrowded with literally hundreds old vintage sewing machines that you can't see what the heck they sell. You either need to know of this British store or you need to get passed the intimidating sewing machine walls and walk in to figure it out. It's mostly made up of men's wear and most everything is gray. Which is good for me because I love gray but bad for me because I'm a woman! My boyfriend liked a number of things and we'll be back to make some purchases soon. The store reminded me of a more upscale H&M with much less color. Lots of euro designs that are a little 'out there' for casual Seattleites but plenty of cool duds for hipsters and people into the heroin chic look. Other finds were accessories, shoes, and gifts. Updating my review from 2011. I still think this location offers a lovely selection of leather jackets, sweaters, and bottoms. My general observation with their customer service is that it depends on the salesperson who approaches you. Luckily, I've encountered friendly and welcoming staff instead of the standoffish ones that a lot of people seem to get. What I noticed in the last 6 months is that I pressure to purchase after trying something on. They would have another person in the fitting rooms ask you probing questions to try to change your mind if you decide not to buy what you had tried on. I know that they operate on a very competitive commission-based sales tactics. However, that totally puts me off and really dampens my experience as a customer. I want my store experience to be paced well versus being pressured to buy something. Moreover, I prefer to be treated as a person as opposed to some fool to be parted with their money. Emotional intelligence in sales associates is key to a successful sale/transaction--please keep this in mind if customer experience is reading this. Hire people that are there to be pace-setters versus money-grabbers. If they treat customers like bags of money, this doesn't make customers feel important or special. I consider AllSaints a luxury store and I want to have the best experience since that is also what I'm paying for when I go shop there. I'll probably stick to the online shopping since I get better treatment from customer service from them. read more

I was initially drawn to this store thanks to its brilliant vintage sewing machine window display. My girlfriend and I walked in and were greeted with wall to wall gray and black clothing. You could easily film a black and white movie in this store with color film and not know the difference. I checked the price tag on a shirt I thought was alright and couldn't believe what I was seeing: a basic corduroy shirt was $80. We saw a shirt sitting on a floor mannequin that we liked, but couldn't find a price or a display for it ANYWHERE. She went back to the mannequin to see if the price was on the shirt. She touched it and was stabbed by an open safety pin. Literally as she was licking blood off her finger, a sales person raced over and scolded us for touching the display. No "are you ok?" and no "do you need a bandaid?" Just a condescending lecture. Who doesn't let you examine a shirt on a display? And if you can't and that's the case, how about a sign? Or at the very least, putting price tag on your clothing, overpriced though they might be? Bland, expensive clothes and snotty salespeople. Spital indeed. read more

Loved the experience. The brand feels a bit pretentious because of the price tags; you'll scarcely get out of there for less than 100.00 but if you like finely made albeit vintage goes industrial with soft edges clothing you'll love these clothes. Think fingerless gloves and wristies; then, a beautiful handwrought sequined dress with art nouveau color blocking. I would have given it 5 stars except for the following: I found some of the younger sales peeps annoying; one had extremely and I mean disgustingly bad breath that made me want to see if someone had dropped a fully loaded diaper on the floor... and then while up at the "till" they only had 2 people working. During the holidays, when we are tired and spending bucks, shouldn't those meandering employees find their way behind the counter and lend a hand? Lastly, I'm almost 50 and saw other 40 + 's customers milling around ~ yet I saw not one who appeared to be over 25 years old working. OK, I get it...youth is a brand all its own but throw a hipster in there for good measure, will yah? (* don't even think about giving me an 'education' on the definition of "hipster"...it's used here with no negative perjorative intended and to a loosely defined extent, OK?) Back to its good points. It's winter here in Seattle and their apparel is both super cool and practical. I went to their website and expected to feel the same vibe but unfortunately it doesn't translate (though there is something to be said for being understated yet in a sea of flashy websites) theirs is almost too understated. Seriously, show your stuff...and sorry but the video doesn't do enough of that. The Seattle store is beautiful. The turn of the century Singer sewing machines are exceptionally charming and make a statement - window art, seriously! If you are of average height and weight or smaller these clothes make a statement and can be easily layered. For example, cashmere shawlettes, cardigans, sweaters, military collared jackets, fur lapelled cinched waist jackettes, drapey cut neck and shoulder lines, ultra thin long sleeves with seams that create designs to be noticed. Some of the womens/mens lines can be interchanged because of the fabrics used - light on some articles and on others, dense such as long cabled scarves and throw on warmy wear when you don't want to wear a heavier jacket. Then there are the boots with buckles and the spiked heel shoes that reminds one of a moment in time: A train station, the platform fillled with post victorian workers whose work wear mingles and contrasts against their nouveau betters.... steam coming out from the engines and chrome and sepia and wet concrete are everywhere. I'm thinking the designers of this stores brands are melding creatively...asian and european and old industrial London and New York are strongly felt here. I overheard one person use the term "steampunk" to describe the clothes. Hmm, I don't know. I think the winter colors of black, charcoal, greys, tans and the weight and cut of these lines definitely evoke an era ...but no matter, all of the clothes transcend nicely and the feel is decidedly global. read more

I've shopped here a few times. The men's mix of clothes is a bit fashion forward. It does have a few items though that can help you modernize your wardrobe. They are an expensive store. Their clothing product, albeit made in China, is well made. I might rewrite this review upon seeing how the clothes makes it through the wash cycle over time. The store is well laid out. They have a spattering of men's items on the main floor. The visual merchandiser must be using this as a tactic to lure you to the lower floor where the majority of the men's clothing is displayed. Their changing rooms are quite ample in size. If you need to use the washroom and feel the urge come on, forget about it. Their washroom's are for employees only. Now this is pretty odd for a hip style clothing store. Mario's allows it's customers to use their toilet facility. Go figure. On the shopping extravaganza today, the store had a handful of customers on the lower level. Unfortunately they had only one cashier who didn't acknowledge the fact that I had been waiting in line to check out. He could of called for help but maybe it's a guy thing to not ask for help at this store. I was in line for 10 minutes and decided to head upstairs to check out at the main floor cashier. Success and she was much friendlier and nicer to look at than the salesperson in the men's department. Come to think of it, they guys in the sales staff in the basement are always a bit grumpy. Maybe they are just a bit too hip to work as retail salesmen. In fact the store should get female staff to work the men's department as most guys need the female touch for fashion. It's too bad when you love a stores clothing but dislike the service. Ive had three different experiences with AllSaints and they have left a bad taste in my mouth. On the first occasion I tried on a lovely sweater in my regular size. Sizes are U.K. so my size 8 U.S is their size 12. I thought the sweater was a bit baggy on me and asked the salesgirl for a size down. She proceeded to tell me that their clothing is" supposed to fit loose" and a size down would be too small. Never in my life have I been told that I shouldn't try on a different size. By saying that to me it made me feel fat and annoyed. I just wanted a size down, whats it to her? I ended up liking the fit on the smaller sweater and bought it. The second visit my boyfriend was returning a necklace he had bought me for Christmas. The necklace was pretty but it was very heavy and wasn't something I'd wear much. The sales guy told my boyfriend that he couldn't get a refund only exchange for something else. A few days prior my boyfriend was in the store and saw a woman returning a armful of clothes. She told the counter girl that she had "buyers remorse" and wanted a refund. She got it. My boyfriend then told the sales guy that they had in fact given a woman a refund just a few days earlier and what had occured. He then replied that was a " special circumstance". My boyfriend then said " and this isn't?" The necklace was $80 and for that much money I wanted him to get his money back. The sales guy gave in but pretty much let it be known how put out he was. The 3rd visit I bought a shirt marked $70 on the tag. At the counter they rang me in for $90. I said to the girl that I didn't think that was the correct price. She looked a the tag and was " O, I guess our computer has the wrong price scanning" very nonchalant. Good thing I knew the price going up to the counter or I would have paid $20 too much. Overall I feel the sales people there are not very well trained in customer service. They seem snobby and aloof like they are doing me a favor by helping me. It's too bad because I really do love the clothes there. I doubt I will shop there due to the sales peoples poor attitudes. Be still my monochromatic, drape-loving heart! I first discovered AllSaints when I was visiting Scotland a few years ago, and I've been a fan every since. I can't speak to their return policy, since I'm always visiting from out of town so anything I purchase is "final sale" for me. Yes, the clothes are pricey. But compared to other brands with a similar aesthetic (Helmut Lang, Rick Owens, etc) the prices are a bit lower, especially when they have their end of season sales. This is where I go to treat myself when I'm in Seattle (or any other city with an AllSaints for that matter). Every piece I have I always get compliments on, and I have sweaters that I've worn on a weekly basis for years that are still holding up great. read more

Yay for surprises! My girl and I cruised through here a week or two before Christmas. I was distracted--I wanted to check out what types of threads they have for men--I could immediately see that the styles here fit right into the look I like, especially for standing on stage playing shows. However, I was more interested in what caught my girl's eye. Mental notes and checklist in full gear, I ignored the men's section and kept track on what she paused to look at, touch, and most importantly, point out to me. Ding! She stopped and stroked a pair of leather gloves, mentioning her lack of warm wear for her hands. "I have plenty of cheap mittens, but nothing nice that I could wear when dressed up." Excellent. Addition to the mental list made. There is nothing I like better than her delight. A pair of well fitting pants and a sexy, stylish shirt, however, is a close second. I headed back in here a few days later. The gloves were nowhere in sight. Oh well, I had other ideas from our previous trip. Before I got too far, however, one of the staff asked if I was looking for anything in particular? "Chalk colored leather gloves, small. They were right here a couple days ago..." "oh right. Hmmm." She had a quick look around at the surrounding shelves, and located a pair of large size on a high shelf, just out of my 'notice' range. "Large... let me have a look in the back." Cool. Friendly, attentive, helpful. I suddenly realized I had expected rude and snobby. What a pleasant shattering of expectations. And sure enough, she returned with exactly what I wanted. A tad expensive, but... I had expected that as well. I thanked her and headed over to check out. The fellow at the register also was super friendly and helpful, further destroying my impression that this place would be snooty and elitist. I asked about the men's clothes, and he directed me to the previously unnoticed stairway. "Lots of stuff on sale too!" He said. Sweet. I like sales. I headed down. Sure enough, some pretty cool stuff down there. Unfortunately, nothing that fit exactly what I was searching for, but I'll definitely come back to browse. This store is another fabulous reason why I should vastly overhaul and edit my closet. The style: Is for the ultimate in (British-esque) urban-hipster that actually has enough cash to spend here. Dozens of perfectly shrunken and distressed leathers, long sweaters, dark colours, and amazing coats! I had the hardest time not to blow a bare minimum of $160 just for a knitted sweater. The selection is very impressive for both guys and gals, same goes for the sizing. The staff is superior. Greeted and treated right away to a fitting rooms deserves ++'s in my lists. I have shopped at AllSaints in Belgium and had a decent impression of them. I was pretty curious when they came to Seattle. Signs this store doesn't care about its customers' experience: * no 3-way mirrors * very few regular mirrors * harsh, unrealistic lighting * no returns (!!) * nagging, repetitive music * heavy security tags that are placed in such a way that they pull the fabric of the back of the top you're trying on. Finally! A showroom for upscale biker clothing! British upscale biker clothing...! British upscale biker clothing that married Hunter S Thompson and birthed an even edgier British biker! I am kind of addicted to this place, mostly because of my inexplicable attraction to neutral colors and the musky odor of leather. The multi-level space is as unique as the clothing and really fun to browse in, complete with vintage sewing machines, steampunk chairs and exposed wood floors. The staff is beyond friendly and will give you an honest appraisal of their clothing on you (and how it was maybe *supposed* to look lol). What sets this place apart is the quality of their materials and craftsmanship... and also the great service you'll receive (from beautiful people, might I add). Can't find your size? They'll order it online for you. Show room floor bag the last one left and you need it for a party? You might be able to take it home and get a slight discount on it. Bought something online and need to return it? You can do it in store! Overall, a fun place to browse, get inspired, and spend your paycheck, possibly in its entirety. I am happy to welcome this clothing store from the other side of the pond to their new, prime shopping location. Although London and England as a whole are vastly different than Seattle and the PNW, the styles at AllSaints are a great fit here. The clothing borders on workwear, but with a bit of high-fashion flair thrown in. Think heavy coats, sweaters, button shirts, jeans, boots, etc. Lots of chunky accessories, too. My first stop in was to just check it out during a work day and I was instantly greeted by a beautiful brunette that was probably the most friendly employee of any store in the city. She chatted with me for a moment about the store's opening and directed me to the large men's department downstairs. While I did not make a purchase yet, I'm sure I will be back in the future. Love everything about this store! The decoration with the sewing machines, space planning, ipads and of course, the clothing. I fell in love with All Saints when I went to London several years ago and found that the only store they have in the US is in LA. But now, we Seattleites have it too. Amazing dresses and skirts! Somehow baby&co reminds me of AllSaints too - except AllSaints is way better and cheaper. read more

What I liked about it - the clothes. I found so many things here that fit perfectly and were just so original - not your typical dress or sweater, things that were really unique. The staff were also extremely friendly which I really appreciated. What I didn't like about it - they only put out 2 sizes for every item, which was 99% of the time a 2 and a 4. As someone who wears 8/10, this was very frustrating. The staff were extremely nice about it and willing to go get other sizes, but it was like.... why is this a thing? I want to love this store, I really really do - but I can't in good conscious give them a higher rating. The quality of clothing (low-average) for their price point (high) doesn't match, nor does their customer service. The return policy is laughable and not at all competitive. And buyer beware, they are not forthcoming about their policies at the cash out counter, so read up and be sure you really love the piece your purchasing. I've given All Saints a try 3 times to be fair - but I'm done. I've been disappointed every time. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

Nicole helped me pick out a shirt that was absolutely incredible. I like all saints because their clothing is a about lifestyle. They hire great customer service and I am always amped to check out what they have in store. I saw a shirt I wanted in a floral print and I wasn't able to get it because they were out of my size. A week later I went back in and Nicole remembered me and showed me that the size I wanted was in. Thank you! read more

This store is insanely expensive. Think Zara-quality merchandise at somewhere between Nordstrom and Barney's pricing. The kicker is their return policy... there is none! No returns! This restrictive policy might work in Europe, but won't work in the U.S., where the consumer is king. I give them less than a year. Every time I walk by I peek inside to see if there is anyone actually buying anything, versus just browsing... and there isn't. read more

I was excited when this store first opened up in Seattle but I would have to agree with the other reviews that shopping in the store itself is not the most pleasant experience. I gave up all hope for people in retail to be friendly or pleasant a long time ago- the pretentiousness and 'I'm too cool' is played and done, so whatever. The problem I do have is when they're nowhere to be found. I often walk by here daily during the noon-one lunch rush and I guess the employees are at lunch then as well. I'll have a question because I often find that dresses I'll pick up have no price tag- or it's been ripped/fallen off, or I can't find something. Or I can't reach for something. And it's myself and a couple other people TRYING to shop. No one else. I don't have the time to go on an All Saints hunt for employees nor should I have to. I guess maybe they're in the back or downstairs but if I were them, I'd be a concerned that someone would run in and steal all their $150.00 t-shirts. Also read online that a lot of their US stores are not doing so well- PERHAPS THIS IS WHY. read more
