I had a project for a dry staked rock wall and backfilling in Sebastpol that I wanted to start last summer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Alex was quick to respond and provided a 3-D rendering of the concept.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He then provided a bid and told me it would take 3 weeks to execute the project. Slick sales person for sure. After agreeing he started the project but after 2 weeks disappeared saying another customer took priority becasue I had not paid him for the whole project that his biller sent me. He later said the full bill invoce was a mistake. The rock wall was also very poorly done, not like the one already on the property that was set as the example to emulate. Allstar kept pressing for more and more % of the overall payment before finishing and then they just disappeared without t completing a significant part of the work, leaving their tools and pallets and garbage behind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called, texted and emails to no avail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have used a lot of different conactors over the years and this was by far the worse experience I had. Buyer beware! When I asked other contractors for bids to complete the abandoned project they came back with cost far higher then the remainder to be paid to AllStar to complete the work they bid on. If I could give this company a zero star I would. It all started from asking for a quote on a damaged retaining wall at my residence. I was given a quote that was very reasonable in comparison to some of the others I had. Upon making a decision to use this company for their services, I spoke with Alejandro on the phone about the specifics of the job which I had sent pictures and given measurements in the initial Yelp conversation. I was told a different price than what he initially told me in the Yelp conversation which I asked for an explanation and was told it was because of pvc drainage system. I told him to not include that but the rain rock only. With this modification the price was still higher than the original quote. I asked could he lower the price closer to his original quote and he told me his business partner wouldn't allow it. I agreed upon the price based on it was still lower than other quotes and we confirmed a date. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Alejandro contacted several days later via text to changed the date due to the heavy rains in the forecast. I understood and agreed to the change of date for work being today (Nov 30th) at 6 am.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Alejandro never contacted me after agreeing to this date for follow up or confirmation. Needless to say he or his crew never showed up to do the work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called him and left a message which he did not return and texted as well and did not receive a response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Based on these actions I am saying Alejandro was not very professional at all and unfortunately it's bad representation for this company. I needed someone to plant 6 medium-sized redwood trees into a rocky landscape. It was a difficult job but Alex and Vladimir handled it with the aid of a jackhammer.
