It took him over 5 months to get the money for his car from his own insurance company. Only had a rental for 30 days so the rest of the time he had to drive my car leaving me without one since we live in two different counties. He then had to still fight to get the money back for the storage fees he had to charge to his personal card just to get his car moved to a body shop. This took another 2 months and ended up coming from the broker instead of the insurance company. He then changed insurance companies to his new wife's insurance and this feat took multiple calls over 2 months to get the difference back from what he had already paid for the year. Auto Owners is very unprofessional and very slow. The agent and the adjuster, Marissa McClain, were also very rude. I would avoid this company.

So all emails come from sheri.cornett but show as Sharon Finney through outlook, gmail, opera mail, etc. I checked them all. How difficult is it to change an email address when someone gets married? Set up an auto-forward or alias for the old address and keep moving on. Refused to open claims for us on two separate occasions, stating that the other insurance company will "want to speak with you anyway, so you should just call them." Ostendorf has certainly never had an issue collecting money over the past twenty years. Two no-fault accidents in 18 months, and the way Ostendorf handles things have caused us to seek a different Allstate agency.
