I called Ruben to introduce myself (as he didn't reach out to us) and asked him if he could try to lower our rates. He said he thought he might be able to and then never got back to me, so nothing changed. At another point, Farmer's mistakenly canceled our umbrella policy which I discovered months later. I asked Ruben for help in reinstating the policy, preferably retroactively. He said that he would help and that likely, he'd be able to get it retroactively reinstated in a day or two. Nothing ever happened. The last straw was when we got into a car accident. My partner asked Rubin for help in dealing with insurance company (i.e. in terms of what to say to them, etc.). While other agents help their clients with this sort of thing, Ruben's response was that his role is just to sell insurance. We ended up leaving his agency and going with another broker who was much more attentive and helpful.
