Yes, I did have to follow up a few times in the beginning to transfer my records, but boy was it worth it! I rely a lot on email for communication, as do most people! Thanh always responds SO fast and timely. That is the life saver. He is always there when I call too. So far, he's helped w/ insuring jewelry and my bike (yes, I'm skeptical about Philly here for stolen property) and I live in Old City (fairly safe IMO and I came from SF ya'll). There was even a discrepancy w/ a car rental where I received a flat tire and he was able to seamlessly help me out and make a claim so that I am refunded for any out of pocket expense. I would say I email/bug him enough as a client, but you know, I like to keep my car and my property safe and insured... You take care of your car, he'll take care of you! When I first moved to Philly I wanted (and was required) to get renter's insurance. I made the mistake of not using Bungalow (which I only later heard about through friends) and I went on a clunky aggregator of the large insurers. After typing in my information and requesting a quote, I was, within maybe 5-10 seconds, bombarded by robo-calls, emails, and salespeople overwhelming me and stressing me out. I never did get a real quote and the experience was horrible. Anyone who has bought insurance the traditional way or with most aggegators probably knows what I am talking about. Luckily, I heard of Bungalow from a couple friends before I next had to get renter's insurance, and the process could not have been more different (and was obviously way better) than my previous endeavors. The quote takes maybe 5 minutes and you actually know what you are doing! Who wants to decipher fine print and figure out what a policy actually covers and what hidden fees you need to factor in? This process couldn't have been any easier or more straightforward, and I'm not paying any more than I would otherwise. I only wish that I'd found out about them earlier. If you are debating getting renter's insurance (which, in my opinion, makes sense for anyone who has possessions and likes them), don't waste time on any other site. -Ben
