I went inside the office to speak with the owner…read moreCatherine regarding my auto policy and from the moment I got there she was very rude talking over me & was very unprofessional talking to me through the glass door with other customers in the office raising her voice and being very dismissive. I felt uncomfortable & discriminated against. In the midst of trying to advise her of what was going on she said she had to leave for a doctors appointment but was going to take care of the issue because I was right after all and it will get "resolved". She then winded up making her agent Morgan handle the matter while she left . Morgan was no help at all. I sat in the office for over two hours and nothing was resolved. I would not recommend this insurance agency to anyone. They provided very horrible customer service & extremely poor management. In the midst of waiting in the office other customers were calling in to make payments . I watched the agents put the the customers on hold then get back on the phone a few moments later advise the customers "the system just went down we have to call you back what's a good call back number for you" just to avoid doing their job at that moment which is ridiculous Work avoidance. To anyone looking to go here for insurance I would highly recommend looking else where. Unless you're the same skin color you will not get far with this company . They treat who they want to treat with respect & help who they want to help. If I can leave no stars for a review I sure would.

Unfortunately, my experience with this agency has been frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I called to cancel my auto policy and was told by Steve that I needed to send over the Declaration Page from my new insurer before they could cancel. I did as requested. I followed up with Michael to confirm it was received, but never got a clear answer. After waiting four hours, I called State Farm directly, and they canceled my policy immediately--no declaration page required. On top of that, when I first received my quote from this office, it included information for a completely unrelated household member I never gave them. That's a serious mistake, and luckily I caught it before proceeding. I went with this agency because of the positive reviews, but after interacting with three different reps, I can confidently say I won't be coming back. I'll also be sharing my feedback directly with State Farm corporate. Just a heads-up to others--be prepared for unnecessary runaround and inconsistent service.

I was with them for more than 20 years and never had a claim. Finally we had a claim due to our…read moredaughter getting rear ended and it was so difficult getting everything handled. Joy Insurance gave us the run around for weeks before we could get a rental vehicle. We finally were given authorization to get a rental vehicle that I paid out of pocket. I did get reimbursed for this, however the time they authorized the rental my vehicle was almost ready from the body shop. I only used the rental vehicle for 3 days and the car was in the shop for more than 2 weeks. I was also not given thorough info regarding transferring insurance to my son. Needless to say, this was the icing on the cake for us to leave. Very unhappy how this ended with them. This is in response to Liam Joy: I did receive a voicemail and email from your Dad. The email he sent did not have accurate facts. First off, you never explained the process on transferring insurance to my son's name. You took our son's money and then at the 11th hour after time passed you decided to call him and ask about plates. You expected him to know that he needs the title signed over. Nothing was ever explained about the process. This is typical for your agency, just like the claim process. It would have been nice to get a call directly from you when you discovered there was a problem. Let me just say, you had plenty of chances to call me and make good. You decided to ignore this, and thought it would go away. It is unfortunate that it ended this way.
