What is it lately with Allstate agents using deceptive or unmarked mailings to advertise their services? As per usual, receive mail that looks like something official, only to find a "personalized" advertisement claiming that my home insurance may be up for renewal and offering to cut my rate to about 30% of what it is today. 2 stars because at least this one doesn't write "CONFIDENTIAL!! OFFICIAL BUSINESS!" all over it like another Allstate advertisement I received today. But I'm getting tired of receiving these in general. Bottom line: I will not use Allstate because it's clear that they depend on these mass mailings for a chunk of their business, and that's inevitably being paid for by their customers in the form of higher premiums, lower payouts, or less adequate service. I prefer companies that are dedicated to serving their customers rather than desperately spamming for more. read more

These guys are truly unprofessional. The office manager is condescending, unprofessional, and never helpful. Scott is no longer available. I had a deeply disappointing experience with this insurance agency. Their representatives lacked the necessary experience and honesty, leading to deceitful interactions with customers. When issues arose, they refused to take responsibility, literally was insinuating that I am a liar over their agents wrong doings, making them an untrustworthy choice & their lack of knowledge and experience will lead you in the wrong direction. Their questionable business practices and a manager with poor customer service skills only added to the frustration. After being with them for a year, they offered no support and simply left me feeling abandoned and mistreated. Avoid this agency at all costs! read more

Worst insurance agency EVER ! Beth was horrible and talked to me like a 3rd class citizen. She was very judgemental and she is a sorry excuse for an office manager. Ted wrote my house insurance policy incorrect and when I called to change things it all went to pot. I still don't have home insurance. Jerry was very curt with me on the phone and gave me incorrect information . I emailed Scott and never got any response. Nikki was the only person in that office that helpful and the only reason I gave this review a star. Don't walk RUN from this agency. They do not document calls and failed to cancel my homeowners policy when a landladies policy was added, costing me over $1200 in a 4 month period. They also failed to update my new address, would not talk to my insurance broker who was understanding an Allstate policy even after permission was granted by me. I called back, placed on hold, finally found Darrel who refused to answer my broker's questions. I told him how angry I was and they were interrupting a medical appointment and he cut me off and threw me on hold. I called back and asked to speak to Scott Sandlin and said I was a customer with three policies through them.I said if Scott didn't get back to me to straighten this out I would go somewhere with better customer service. I was told that wouldn't happen. I've been with this group for almost 10 years. The service I received today coupled with a bad mistake has me livid. I don't recommend this agency read more

Be aware of "discounts" they all come with a catch. First year I pay my home and car insurance IN FULL so I don't need to worry about bills or emails. Second year they automatically try to withdraw the full amount when I never give permission to that. The payment was rejected. I call the office the following day and pay in full for the whole year. A month later two charges from Allstate in my debit card. One for the rejected payment and the other one for the discount that was given to me. They take out the amount of money that they want it and when they want it. I went to the office to personally fix this. The office "manager" had drinks everywhere, packs of more drinks, 3 e-cigarettes and confidential information laying in all the surfaces..... already when I saw others people information understood everything.... Of course they didn't fix anything and of course I can't wait to finish my term with them and cancel everything. I send a email to the agent, the owner....never got a word from him... read more

In reading the previous post I am shocked at the review concerning Beth!!!!! Sadly, I've had many claims recently and have always dealt with Beth. She has always been helpful and a consummate professional. My understanding is that you have 30 days to get the information to them. I'm not sure how ANY agent can insure a car with out the VIN number. The is so much information imbedded in that number. It sounds like this individual has an axe to grind about something. Scott has hired an exemplary staff and I would recommend any of them. However, I would ESPECIALLY recommend Beth. Just let her prove to you just how good she is!! PR read more

Stay away from All Sate! You're not in good hands..... I switched insurance after years with my previous insurance. I found out that we had a water leak in the second floor bathroom below the floor. It had been leaking for a short time but was unaware of it since it was unseen. Long story short, it was not covered since it was not reported as soon as it happened.....I notified Scott as well as the claim department as soon as I noticed it but that was not good enough! Found a great agent who cares and goes to battle for you to do the right thing, thanks Nat at Liberty Mutual I look forward to telling all my friends about you read more

Scott is a wonderful person, polite, helpful and courteous, but Beth is horrible. She is rude, inconsiderate, lazy, nothing is her job, must always call someone else because SHE is not going to help in any way, it is not her responsibility. I just tried to get car insurance and didn't have the VIN because I do not have the car yet, she proceeded to tell me that she could not insure it without the VIN in a rude disconcerting way. She speaks about the law as if she actually knew something about it and told me that my lawyer was wrong and I needed a better lawyer. and that insurance agents don't do this or that, when I have talked to friends that their insurance agents do this and that. GOOD agencies help in ANY and EVERY way. they make the calls get the ball rolling. Beth answer is it is not my job, and we do not do that. She needs another job, but not is any service industry.
