I had it towed to my favorite mechanic who pronounced it DOA and was referred to a couple of 'cash for cars' towers to take it away. After diagnosis, I called State Farm to cancel my insurance on this vehicle. Several months later, I receive a statement reminding me to renew my policy on this long-gone car. So I call to see what happened, and it turned out they never canceled my policy. Now it is UP TO ME to PROVE TO THEM that their mistake is accurate. Because the vehicle was old and had high miles I paid my insurance twice a year, so did not realize they never canceled the policy (I'd forgotten about the refund check for the difference). I have already sent in screen shots of the date, time, and call length of that call, the notification from my auto guy with the diagnosis of a broken timing belt, and they told me that's not enough - I need a receipt from the tow guy who gave me a Benjamin and took away my car 5 months ago and had no receipts to give. Which phone number was that again?? This is total bull****. I'm in grad school, I have a 3 year old, and I work and they want me to track down some guy I called almost half a year ago to have a receipt printed for a car he probably doesn't even remember towing away since that's all they do EVERY DAY. Way to pass the buck like a pro, DeBella. To make the bad taste in my mouth completely sour, when my brand new car was hit yesterday I called them to report it, they offered me the option of going through them to start the claim for a $500 deductible or I could call the other driver's insurance company to process the claim for free, 'but it might take 6 - 12 mos to get your money from them for repairs'. This accident was not my fault (car parked in front of a residence) and fortunately for me a responsible, licensed driver was behind the wheel, so it is being taken care of. But clearly DeBella is after all he can get from his customers and isn't above subtle scare tactics to get the job done. The person who hit me was insured by Allstate. When I called they did such a good job of taking care of me that they are top of my list for people to call and get new insurance from. I won't be going back to state farm, that's for sure.

The Bazz agency's dedication to their clients is what sets them apart. I'll keep going back. My advice to you? If you're looking for insurance, call the Bazz agency, show them what other quotes you've seen or what you're paying now. They'll be the most reliable source on whether you have a good rate with someone else or if they can do better.

I called Scott Bazz personally a few times questioning my coverage and rates and not much advise was given. I am very busy and don't have much time to review the policy every year and haggle over rates, when the bill came for $ 3,200, I had enough with them. They used to call or email and check in with their clients, that has stopped about 5 years ago. I don't think they care anymore . He took the time to clearly explain the current policies I signed up for online, as well as a few alternatives / additions that he felt were appropriate and would end up saving me more money. I can't say enough great things about his service and ability to explain fairly complex insurance nuances to an insurance novice like myself. I left that appointment feeling informed and heard, and at no point did I feel like Trent was trying to sell me on anything that I wouldn't benefit from. I'm writing this review now because when I recently found a chip in my windshield from the all too common loose rocks here in Colorado, I was quickly and effectively supported by Trent and his team. As soon as I called his office to ask what I needed to do, I was given the phone number of their approved windshield specialists and walked though what I needed to know. My windshield was repaired the following day and fully covered thanks to Trent's initial advice to have a policy that had full windshield protection coverage. He admits the billing is in error and to ignore them, yet every month they continue to be sent. They are annoying and I'm concerned they will contact a collection agency, damaging my credit score. I tried contacting them by email before submitting this review, but they don't list an email address on their website. Instead, they supply a fill in form. After filling it out, I found out it was "broken" - no way to contact them by email. At that point, I decided a poor review was warranted!
