We purchased life insurance through this person and later discovered that our personal information was sold to multiple third parties without our consent. When we tried to close the account, he refused to help and simply said he was "no longer in business with the insurance provider." We are now left dealing directly with the insurance company to cancel policies we never authorized and to protect our information from further misuse. Currently I'm a customer with Farmers Insurance and even tho I have a clean driving record my car insurance is not very affordable and it keeps going up a Little by Little. For the family SUV, my work truck and a small 4 Door sedan I pay over $300 a month for full insurance on all three vehicles. With that said my policy will expire sometime in March and I'm planning to switch my services over to Allstate. I called this particular Allstate office off Fair Oaks Blvd. in Carmichael and they booked an appointment the same day. Completely incompetent - avoid like the plague. After much effort and large premiums paid, they over promised and were ultimately unable to underwrite the policies (multiple vehicles and properties). So, we ended the relationship very amicably and I just chalked it up as an expensive (time and money) mistake dealing with some seriously incompetent people. THEN - after not hearing a word from them for over a year and out of the blue, I get threatened with a lawsuit for unpaid premiums AND A COMMiSSION! They claim to have made a mistake with the underwriter - the underwriter is now asking them for money and so they think I should be responsible for whatever mistake they made. Now I have to waste more time and money on this situation...which I have zero doubt I will prevail...but who wants to have deal with this? So, if you are into wasting time and money dealing with people that have no idea what they are doing? And then getting sued for their incompetence? This is your guy! read more

Alain is great agent of my family for past 7 years, car, house, life.Alstate is not the cheapest insurance but you get what you pay, after tree fall on my car they provided rental for time of fix/car shopping, car ended up being cheaper than coast of fix and it had been total. Sad occasion since that was well maintained vehicle and I was heart breaking. Thankfully my policy covers Act of God and my dedication was low. Hope I never need to use it again and it's better stay safe than sorry. I wish I just knew they offer discounts and assistance with new car buy process I would wait with car purchase. I appreciated the followup because hadn't been able to find the old email. By his follow up It told me Daniel and Allstate are organize and on top of their potential business. 2.) He is a real person who gave his advise on my options without having to use a script. That tells me he knew what he was doing. A true professional. Alain wrote a policy for me in 2007 and last year I found out that I was put in a lower table because of abnormal labs. I was not notified of the potentially life threatening abnormalities. Also I was mislead as to the term of the policy. I have tried to remove him from my policy but Allstate will not allow that. I do not trust Alain Ionescue. read more

Alain has been my insurance agent since earlier this year after I got out of the hospital. While I was in the hospital some Carmichael Tweekers invaded my home and took it over. When I got out of the hospital I asked them to leave and they retaliated. My truck was stolen Easter Sunday and then recovered a few weeks later. Then later they came back and stole all my shoes and damaged or stolen some belongings of mine. I had to relocate due to emotional trauma and Alain was there for me the whole time.
