By default, I was with Forest for a long time.. I was on my parents' plan (back when they went by…read moreanother name) and as an adult stayed with Forest. My parents left forest awhile ago. They were unsatisfied with how much they were paying and their rude agent. I had little, but generally very pleasant interactions with my agent until recently. When I needed to drop my ex and his car off of my plan, they would not help me. My ex would not sign the documents needed to get off of the plan and Forest said there was nothing they could do. Not their fault, I agree. But curious, I inquired with another company. According to my new agent (Country) there are ways around this situation but they were not willing to help me. I assume this is because I wasn't worth their time, with my small insurance plans. So I stopped paying for my car coverage and was dropped from the plan. Not an issue, we all move on, right? Wrong. After I canceled my Home insurance, and submitted my Quit Claim Deed to show that my ex no longer owned my home, Forest sent me my refund check with his name on it! I assume this was to intentionally cause me more headache, luckily, I was able to cash the check with ease and deposit it back into my escrow account. Truth be told, I have much more coverage needs coming soon and I am absolutely ecstatic that it won't be through Forest Agency.

I called Navy Insurance and spoke with a young lady name Tania at the Cermak location. She was very patience and informative in the situation that I was in. She kept me calm and explained my situation and explained what I needed to do to resolve my issue. She advised me that she will personally follow up the next day and thats exactly what she did. I can be a handful when I dont get great service but Tania made it very difficult for me to get upset at her by the way she handled the situation, kudos to her. I had a face to face meeting with one of his staff members during which he promised to review my coverages as well as to research answers to questions I had. He NEVER got back to me with any of the answers I needed, despite numerous attempts to contact him. The final straw was that State Farm's premiums kept rising by 10% to 30% with each renewal, which was not justified considering the lack of service from Adam's office.
