I just recently I called to verify that my discounts were correct since my premium went up quite a bit. A simple request that I've made of other agencies, that is normally met with "sure let me pull up your policies and I'll take a look." But at Neis, I was told to go to the website and find the info there, then was told to look at my paperwork that was sent in the mail (which I didn't get). Clearly she did not want to help me. There actually was a discount that I had not received the prior year. It's important to follow up with your agency when your premium goes up. And people do make mistakes. I asked for the manager to talk to them about this, and she said she was the manager. So I had no recourse but to put a poor review on their website. They took it off. If I had just received an, I'm so sorry and an apology for the agents behavior, I would not have written this review. I understand that Dave is very good there, so I suggest if you want to work with them, work with Dave.

It ended up being an hour long aggressive sales tactic to sell me on every service they offer. After that, my rates started climbing from $50-$80/mo. In just a few months. He claimed it was due to inflation, but I ended up switching to a different agent and I have better coverage for less. I let all that go but recently I got a call from my mortgage company. They called Ted's office (my info hadn't updated to the new agent for homeowners) and were told that I dropped my homeowners insurance. I have the same policy number, just a different agent. I know for certain they can see that I am still with them. It was very unprofessional. So glad Ted isn't my agent any more. My advice is find another agent if you go with State Farm.

Every question I asked she answered, if she didn't know the answer she told me she would call me back and she did call me back promptly. She treated me as if I was purchasing a 100 million dollar policy even though I was just getting regular homeowners and regular auto insurance, it wasn't like I was talking to an insurance representative it was like I was talking with a new friend. I switched from Allstate for a lower payment but not only did I get lower cost I got much better customer service, and I had pretty good customer service with Allstate. In my opinion thats almost better than saving money!
