They always bill in two seperate invoices for home and auto. I forgot to make the insurance auto payment on time and was charged a late fee, then an installment fee, plus some sort of admin fee. Even after I made the auto insurnce invoice paid in full inthe same month it was due to ezpire ,they insisted on keeping that installment fee, late fee admin charge on the bill. Menaing I'd have to pay more on a policy I just paid full on the car. So I basically didn't need that installment fee. Keep in mind I was 11 days late, and the policy itself would NOT expire until the end of the month anyways. I told the rude woman who told Me I could cancel the auto policy and get back half of what I paid for the auto policy. Looks like they would still get those fees anyway. Kevin has always been a nice guy, but recently the people he has employed seemed way out of touch. Case in Point, I contacted Allstate Corporate Office and they told me the agent or the woman who talked to me knew she could have just called the Coporate office herself and asked for a "One Time" cancellation of those fees, but she did mot know. Maybe poorly trained by Kevin? Anyways I wil be switching offices in hiope that the next Allstate office has more knowledgeble people who are more customer conscience and helpful.

Based on my reviews on other sites, you can probably expect an immediate outpouring of positive reviews following this one. Clearly Hupp has tapped into her network to assist with damage control. I guess that points to how much intelligence she thinks consumers have by assuming they cannot see thru such a stunt. REVIEW: Worse than terrible. I have been an Allstate customer for over 25 years, and after my longtime agent left Allstate some time a few years ago, my business was apparently automatically re assigned to Nicole Hupp. In the past, I have had minor customer service gripes about Nicole Hupp, but I made no changes because that's a big hassle that I did not want to take on, especially after decades of loyalty. Admittedly, in hindsight, any hassle would have been worth it to avoid having to depend on Nicole Hupp. Recently, my wife's vehicle was totaled when she was hit from behind at a stoplight. As a result, I filed a claim with Allstate who I have used to insure my home, vehicles, and motorcycles for my entire adult life. A simple customer service need came up, so my wife contacted the general Allstate customer service phone number and was advised by an Allstate representative that this request of ours was common and something the agent could take care of. When I called Nicole Hupp's office, I spoke with presumably her assistant, who told me that Nicole was unavailable to speak with me, but she did manage to communicate with Nicole in real time to advise me that my request was denied and not possible. I requested a phone number to speak with an escalated resource because I was getting conflicting information from Allstate employees. The assistant put me on hold, presumably to discuss with Nicole, before returning to the line to advise me that there is no escalated contact option and I am free to contact the general Allstate customer service phone number. Instead, I reached out to the CEO of Allstate in addition to several senior level executives. Within an hour, my entire issue was resolved, my customer service request was granted, and many, many apologies were offered by the corporate level fixer who called me. Currently I am working with Allstate to reestablish our relationship, and I am working towards consumer protection and regulatory complaints against this agent and possibly Allstate too. This was not what I hoped to be doing with my time as a customer of over a quarter century, but I feel strongly about protecting people from this terrible level of "service" provided by Nicole Hupp. I have ways to get my problems noticed, but not everyone does. I would caution you to take whatever damage control response may be added to my review with a grain of salt. I have plenty of documentation to support my claim, including acknowledgement by Allstate that this situation was brutally handled by Nicole Hupp. I'd say hire any agent you can find before this one. What a shame.

I contacted Nationwide our insurance company days afterwards. Shortly there after a sub-contracting adjuster review my home and I was told that our roof was "fine" and he requested that I try and powerwash my damaged siding. Questing the adjuster I contacted several trusted local roofing contractors for an inspection. Upon their inspection they pointed out to me the "clear as the nose on your face" damage to the roof. I contacted Nationwide once aging. This time the second sub-contracting adjuster say " oh thats not damage, thats the decorations in the roof". I contacted Nationwide once again with my frustrations. They send out a third sub-contracting adjuster and was told "oh yes there is damage but that must be your roofing contractor trying to scam you". Every roofing contractor has consistently confirmed roof damage, but all three of Nationwide's adjusters have given us completely differing stories. Along with the questionable adjusters, the central office has been just as frustrating, we have almost never been able to talk to the same person twice, multiple phone staff working together and did not know what the other was doing or even know who the other co-worker was, continually promising that "we will take care if it". At the end of my rope I contacted our agent Steve Diederich. He was more than willing to stop out and review our situation. At that time he review our damaged siding but was unable to climb on the roof and viewed a small area and said he agrees with the third adjuster that there are questionable spots. Steve promised that he would "look into it" and get back to me. I have sent Steve several emails and phone calls since December 13th 2014,but to my disappointment he has not followed up as promised. I have been faithfully Nationwide customer for many years and shocked by the poor treatment and un-professionalism at a time when we needed them the most. I would seriously consider looking elsewhere when purchasing your insurance.
