She never called me back like she promised so I finally called her back in the middle of the following week. She apologized and told me she had lost the piece of paper with my phone number on it. I guess she could not look my phone number up on my policy? I made an appointment and met with my agent at the AAA office the next morning. I was expecting my agent to lower my rates and maybe even give me a credit for the portion of my premium that I was overcharged for the previous year. I was not expecting my agent to tell me that my premium would still be over $2000. When I questioned her as to why she was charging me such an exorbitant amount she came up with an extremely lame story about me having two points against my record. If you remember, the other agent assured me I only had one. I can only guess that they did not want to have to rebate money to me for the past year so they decided to figure out a really lame lie to keep my insurance at the same rate. She also told me again that it was my responsibility to have filed those reports and the reason the others person's information was filed and mine was not was that we had different claims adjusters. Wait a second, didn't a claims adjuster contact me and tell me she was going to be the claims agent for both of us? My agent again told me that they are the only insurance company that files accident reports and proof of financial responsibility for their members. When I replied that the woman in the financial responsibility office told me that was not true, she said the woman probably did not know what she was talking about. All the lady at the department of financial responsibility does all day is deal with these reports. I am pretty sure she knows what she is talking about (LOL). It was more than time for me to look for a company that appreciates my business and treats me with the respect and dignity I deserve as a paying customer and does not continually lie to me. I feel really sad that I had to change companies after almost 40 years. I guess it is true that nothing ever stays the same. It was at this point that I decided to shop my automobile insurance on line. It was quick and easy. I filled out a form with my pertinent information and immediately started getting quotes both on line and on my phone. Within a few hours I had already decided on a company that offered the most services for the least amount of money. That company was 21rst Century Insurance. At first I was apprehensive about using an insurance company that I could not sit down face to face with my broker. It was not until I found out my girl friend has been using them for almost 15 years, that I decided to give them a chance. I am extremely happy about saving $700 and I hope I will never have to use their services. The end

I've been a construction lender for over 20 years and know that the job of an insurance company is to collect premiums and not pay claims. We had a very tricky situation with mold behind the walls in the bathroom. From Day 1, Daniel was on the case, set his contract in place with us and went to work. After his inspection, he prepared an extremely detailed time and materials budget to submit to the insurance company and stayed on top of them. They of course denied the claim and Daniel rebutted with specific provisions in the mold section which after time, had the insurance company overturn their denial and paid 100% of the Daniel's estimate, without discounting any of the Daniels numbers. After the check came, Daniel arranged for the signature of the mortgage company and kept things smooth and communication flowing. This was the best professional experience that we've ever had and have Daniel to thank.

They failed to file my tax returns on time on several occasions, and ended up costing me thousands of dollars in penalties. In the most recent incident, after failing to file my business taxes, the accountant simply would not set aside two hours to finish my returns. I ended up calling him several times a week for months-28 calls in total. By the time he actually did the returns, I had thousands of dollars in penalties. To top it all off, today, I learned from the IRS that Macalpine never filed my 2020 personal taxes.
