Started a policy online and was trying to remove my husband from the policy because he has his own car and insurance and won't need to be on mine. They told me that I can't remove him unless he is dead, in the military or we get separated or divorced. THE HELL!!! Wish I would have known this before I started the policy. Unfortunately, I had to deal with Allstate because one of their insured motorist's rear ended me. I was sitting at a light and she hit me! I was driving a 2019 Corvette- their insured- an SUV. They said they would investigate because their insured claimed that a third vehicle hit her, which inadvertently caused her to hit me. Of course, she was lying. The adjuster for Allstate claimed that they had video that confirmed her BS. No! The cameras over lights were deemed unconstitutional and no longer work (those that haven't been removed yet). They were very unprofessional and I had considered them for a Life policy but, I refuse to do business with these people! No police was called to the accident. Me(nor my daughter) saw a third vehicle! The insured exchange information, never calling a cop, yet, she claimed that a third vehicle hit her! Lies gets you nowhere! Of course, this will come back to bite both Allstate and the injured in the butt when they least expect it! The honest always prevail in the end! Shame on you!! read more

Thomas is an amazing individual, dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and affordable coverage. His team member, Rebecca, helped me switch over from a provider who didn't care about me as a person, only as another policy number. Rebecca taught me a lot of things about insurance. She educated me on what I needed, was very transparent about what I was paying for and what I could expect in return, all while saving me money in the process. I have a renters policy with this office here in Tx. Now I also have vehicle insurance with Allstate in Ms. Which I have dual residency because of my job. I have been part of Allstate every since I was born basically my family grew me up on Allstate my original real estate agent that I can actually remember as a child was in Mississippi. He has watched me grow up now he's also seen my son growing up and has been a part of me and my family for 20+ years. Now with that being said I automatically found a Allstate representative near the apartment that I was renting here in Texas. I've never had not one problem with Allstate they've always been wonderful to me and we have always enjoyed them as a family. Now as to my surprise I paid my insurance on my payday and I bank with a bank that is immediate so I see it come out of my account soon as it hits which is basically real time in baking terms. On my payday I paid a little over my minimum that was due and paid around 1 or 2 am that morning. So I see it out of my transaction it already had posted to my account and saw it had a text saying it was out of my balance and all which happened to be on the 15th. Now as I was thinking my bill has been paid so I go ahead with any other transactions after my bills are paid and asked to my surprise once I go to the bank I see that on the 20th is when Allstate got their money which means that five days later now I am not sure why it would have taking them that long to get their money because all my other creditors and bills were paid way before the 20th. So I am deeply confused why it took just this one company this one time this long to get their money. However I assumed it was a mistake and that I could contact my local office as I did I spoke to a lady in the office and she begin to tell me that they would not give me the overdraft fee that my bank charged due to their transaction because I made the payment and it was no fault of their's. now I was not asking for even my money to be returned for my insurance I just would have liked the overdraft fee taking care of knowing that I did not cause the overdraft fee on my account. Again when I spoke to her still in the same conversation yet again she still would not assist with the fee and stated that she could not do anything but would contact their billing department and see if they would do anything. So after about an hour and a half she returns my call and states that the billing department would not assist and put the $34 back into my account I asked her if I could talk to someone in that department she stated no. At this point I thin contact corporate I speak to someone there and the lady stated that she would in turn return my payment so that my bank would return the overdraft fee however still I got no apology no return on my overdraft fee from Allstate and the lady also stated that she would call me back and as of yet has not returned my call. I then proceed to write a complaint to corporate I still have yet to hear back from anyone now as a long-time customer and what I thought was part of family would have never been done like this or treat it like this so it is very apparent to me that this would've happened when I had been raised with Allstate and been a great customer so me and my family thought. I have never been treated like this at an agency and my old agent would not have treated me like this or any of his representatives. This does however start to make me question all states and their people is this just here in Texas. I surely didn't think so however I was born and raised in Texas but the treatment I received in Mississippi was so much better now I am discussing this whole situation with the family because of the mist treatment the lack of understanding or customer service and or acknowledgment. Needless to say I had to come to yelp and I am going to be putting a lot of the reviews out on a lot of the different pages to let others know how this agency actually treat their people and what they actually care about and what they're actually missing because they can have a long time family as I grew up and have my son and his future children grow up but with this type of customer service they will not continue to have anyone's family through time. I am very hurt and disgusted by the actions that have been taken and I should never have had to write this review at all about the agency. read more
