Rushing and badgering During these communications, I felt rushed and badgered while attempting to explain the accident, ask questions, and obtain information about my claim. I cooperated with Progressive's investigation, but I believe an investigative interview can be thorough without making the insured feel pressured or badgered. Rude and disrespectful communication: I experienced Ms. Mitchell-Jones's communication as rude, disrespectful, dismissive, and inconsistent with the professional customer service I expected as a paying policyholder. Vehicle inspector information I needed information and assistance so that I could communicate relevant information concerning the vehicle inspection. I do not believe Ms. Mitchell-Jones provided the information or assistance I reasonably needed to understand or participate in that part of the claim process. Lack of empathy and professionalism: I understand that an adjuster must remain objective. My concern is that objectivity does not require impatience, dismissiveness, or discourtesy toward an insured dealing with a serious accident and total loss. Post-accident interview I am particularly concerned about the manner of the post-accident questioning. I felt badgered and rushed rather than neutrally interviewed. I request review of the complete recording, if recorded, including tone, pacing, interruptions, and whether I was given a reasonable opportunity to answer fully.

Absolutely unbelievable experience dealing with Progressive Insurance after being injured in a…read moremulti-vehicle accident caused by their insured driver. Progressive was fully aware that I was injured. Their adjuster specifically requested my medical bills and documentation in order to evaluate my injury claim and settlement demand. I cooperated fully and provided the requested information, believing my claim was being handled fairly and in good faith. Instead, Progressive chose to exhaust the entire bodily injury policy limits paying other claimants while allocating absolutely nothing toward my claim -- despite already knowing I was an injured party with an active pending demand. To make matters worse, there was apparently no attempt at an equitable or global settlement among all known injured claimants. I was simply left with nothing after months of communication and documentation. Now I am forced to file complaints with the Texas Department of Insurance, the Texas Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau just to get answers regarding how this was handled. Consumers should be extremely cautious when dealing with Progressive on injury claims involving multiple parties. Based on my experience, being cooperative and providing documentation does not necessarily mean your claim will be treated fairly or even considered before policy limits are exhausted. I expected professionalism, transparency, and fair claim handling. I received none of those things.
