As we were sitting in the front parking lot waiting, I noticed there was only one cook in the backend (the manager) and two frontend guys. Which explains why the kitchen got so backed up. There were also people in the dining area waiting for food as well. Our food finally came out and it was hot from the kitchen. My patty melt didn't have cheese or bacon on it though, it was plain (I didn't order it plain though). Our fries were over cooked but that's how my husband tends to prefer his anyway. I know they were trying to make the best of the situation and it sucks they didn't have much help on their shift tonight. Hopefully it's not always like this, perhaps some callouts. Or maybe it's always like this as we have found at most restaurants these days. Seems like there's nobody wanting to work. Either way, I'll give them an extra star because of their effort since the frontend guys DID communicate that they had not forgotten about us and it was going to be coming out, eventually. Unfortunately, I have to recommend to keep driving past this location if your stomach can help it, it was a bit of wasted time/money since we were trying to beat the impeding storm (which we got caught in, it was a doozy!).
