Moved here blindly after chatting with the manager, Victoria. She couldn't have done better at making us feel comfortable and be completely ready to move-in upon arrival from Oklahoma! I feel like I've known her forever and can talk to her about anything. My family and I have lived here going on year 3 and absolutely love it. The amenities are top notch, office staff is amazing, and maintenance is quick and efficient! Wouldn't want to live anywhere else!! We also love how close it is to the ballpark and a short walk to downtown Abacoa! Plenty of food and fun with all the community events taking leave! My daughter loves to walk down to the clubhouse to get coffee and play pool, and I occasionally work from the clubhouse! We've also met some amazing fellow neighbors! Terrible and most horrific experience here. I lived here for 9 years. Is moving out during the holiday weekend it was difficult to find a mover during the weekend. The building recommended one who could only come on Monday. I explained to the office that I would be a little bit delayed by a day. I have health problems and it was very difficult for me to move a three-bedroom apartment. The mover that they recommended told me to put my stuff out in the hallway because he could grab it easier as he was on a tight timeline. I figured that while I was waiting for the move or I'd run and return my key and then stand outside by my stuff, but quickly ran to get coffee. I got a phone call about my ill mother in the car and then I returned to the property and all of my belongings were thrown out. I had boxes of China from my mother that she left to me, I had boxes of my own China valued at $6,000. I had many many collectible items and artwork and paintings for my grandmother and even her wedding portrait. I had pictures of my children all of their school photography all of the laptops that stored pictures of them from preschool and onward as well as flash drives that I meant to bring to my car but I was too weakened from the whole move and physically exhausted so I put it in a moving tote bag. I had jewelry and jewelry boxes. Sure there were some bags that may have looked have hazardly packed but it was not trash. Nobody emailed me I was I handed in my keys at 9:38 a.m. and all of my stuff was thrown out before noon p.m. they didn't even send me an email or ask about the status of my belongings considering I have given them nine years of rent and over 500,000. I am out my life possessions and there was no empathy from the office I beg for them to open up the compactor and they refused. I am traumatized from the whole experience and need to seek psychological support for the trauma of my lost items and memories. Normally I would have everything in the apartment but the movers specifically requested I keep things very quick for him and fast so I figure there would be no problem because I lived at the end of a hallway, they claim the items were blocking the stairwell but the neighbors across from me had spoken to me about the move and wished me well and we're fully aware that movers were coming to pick everything up. I told the neighbor that the movers are coming at 11:00 a.m. cuz they were running late. She didn't seem to mind so I can't imagine if how they received a complaint because the husband also said it was no problem. They were so cold and the property manager had never returned my call. I sent the Jupiter police to the office to simply ask if I could look through the compactor if it was turned off and they asked the office if they could do it while we still had it my items on the property. Nothing was done and the maintenance man refused to open the compactor. There was something really wrong with the maintenance man some sort of vengeance he had against me, the way he told me my stuff was blocking the stairwell. It was hard to conceive as my bags and pouches were all against the wall? I am out my entire possession of everything I owned. All the clothes my daughter was expecting to take to college or now gone as well as all of my jewelry and photos that I save for a decade. I am devastated read more

If you're looking for a long term home with great landlords who value tenants that pay their rent on time every month DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT move into Allure. We lived there for over 10 years with 2 apts (one for office) and 2 garages paid our rent on time and followed the rules planning to stay long term and they recently informed us they would not renew our lease because they cd get a few dollars more from a new tenant. Appliances are cheapest possible as are fixtures with cabinent veneer peeling. Maintenace staff is good but office staff is truly AWFUL especially Amanda and Victoria - no appreciation for tenants or emotional IQ. ROBOTS! If I could give 0 stars I would. So here's the real deal- you're paying top dollar for a terrible place to live. It was decent when my fiancé moved in here, but the place has gone downhill drastically. First and foremost- the elevator is ALWAYS broken. So when trying to move in or out or have an elderly parent visit you - do NOT expect it to be in working condition. Management will tell you they have paid $50-60k in repairs in the past year - but honestly It sounds like they get kick backs from this incompetent company that they continue to "service" the situation. What a joke. Second- the noise if you live on anything other than the fourth floor is horrendous. I finally went upstairs (my fiancé lives on the 3rd floor) because I assumed the people weighed more than 300 pounds each - and the young lady was skinnier than me- so if noise is an issue for you than it's important you know this isn't a place for you. Third- management is HORRIBLE as mentioned in other reviews. They seriously have no empathy for elderly that cannot use stairs and really need an elevator. It's embarrassing who they have representing their establishment. Fourth- they hire a terrible garbage service and you will notice NASTY trash scum juice that lines each level. Seriously - there are rats and insects and when you see how they loaf the trash into piled on pick up days it is BEYOND disgusting. All in all this is NOT worth what you pay in rent. You would expect a high end and cleanly community. So do yourself a favor- see if the elevator is working - really talk to the management and most likely see a few other complexes before committing to a lease here. WARNING! Management the biggest group of clowns, 100% ineptitude I've been renting apartments for 10 years now and I have never encountered any problems until living at this community. Management is nothing short of awful. Please do your due diligence before selecting this community and locking yourself in for the worst year of your life. I highly suggest you walk around the community and speak with current residents and find out for yourself the poor rapport the management has with its residents. Management conducts bad business and is money hungry looking for ways to upcharge you during renewal periods, violations, and any other way possible. Personally, my issue started when I was stuck in an elevator for over an hour with the emergency call button and emergency alarm not functioning. I left a voicemail for management to call me back to talk about the incident and had to wait 10 days before I called to speak with the property manager. The property manager pretended to be unaware of who was the individual stuck in the elevator despite having a maintenance member notify him of who it was. You would think the property manager, the leader of the community would go out of his way to identify the individual stuck in the elevator and at least apologize for any inconvenience. Instead he resorted to a childish stunt of pretending to not have known to avoid the confrontation. I am currently halfway through my lease and the apartment elevator has been out approximately 8 times. To this date the elevator call button and emergency alarm are still malfunctioning. Management is unwilling to accept responsibility and Is being negligent of the safety and well being a community members that use the elevator. again I understand everybody is grown And are capable of making their own decisions. Look somewhere else to live. The property manager is terrible. He is condescending and doesn't care at all about the residents or the condition of the property. Our apartment continually had roaches despite having the exterminating services come regularly. The complex is over-run by middle school boys that bang on doors, steal packages, create problems in the pool area and break into the fitness center. I called Jupiter PD two days in a row because of the boys breaking into the fitness center and Jupiter PD said there was nothing they could do and the management just let it continue. If you put your garbage out too early you are threatened with a fine. The onsite storage is a mold pit. Before moving out, I scrubbed my apartment and left it spotless then was charged for deep cleaning, carpet replacement and to fix the tiny holes in the walls from pictures and TV wall mounts. The police are there just about every day. Parking is a nightmare. Before moving in the property manager suggested I look at Hamptons...I wish I had listened to him. Bottom line, don't live here. And I have no idea who Jennifer C. or Brian J. are that reply to the reviews. They have nothing to do with the Allure. read more

Don't let the old reviews fool you... this place is awful. There is a new management company and they are horrible. This place is filthy, trash on the balconies, hallways are disgusting because the garbage company drags the trash bags, don't step foot in the elevator unless you want to step in dog urine, parking is a nightmare because it is shared with the town of Jupiter (there are only a handful of designated spots, my rent went up over $500 when I renewed, water bill is $80+ a month (how does one person have an $80 water bill?), my list could go on and on. There are so many nicer places to live in Jupiter stay as far away from this one as you can. Only positive is maintenance they are great guys but can only do so much. For the amount they charge a month in rent, this place should be pristine. Ask yourself why they have so many units available... there is a reason. read more

Notice past reviews focus on location, community and staff, but not the apartment or building, which is what you have to actually live in. Yes the location is excellent, the community is attractive and extremely safe, as is all of Abacoa, and leasing staff is friendly, but those are the only upsides. The apartments are horribly built, I stress horribly. Expect to hear every sound, feel every thump and have walls shake on a regular basis, not only from units above, below or next to you, but also those on separate floors and down the halls including every time someone lets their door close. The hallways are always filthy with spilled grotesque trash fluids strewn from one end to the other. If you have a issue using stairs then this isn't the place for you since the elevator working is a complete crap shoot. The clubhouse features as the website and leasing agents prominently advertise, have not existed in the entire 5 months since I've lived here despite being told it would only be closed for 1 month. Now the fitness center is also closed which will no doubt be many more months. There are constantly maintenance issues with the units, and while they respond quickly, it usually takes multiple returns until the problem is fixed and they will have an attitude for go backs. The units are extremely dark, the cheap veneer (stickers) are peeling off much of the cabinetry, appliances are dented and scratched, and good luck finding a parking spot anywhere near your unit if you get home after about 6pm. It's a huge plus that the community is pet friendly, complete with a dog park, but unless you absolutely love the sound of countless other residents dogs incessantly barking for long periods and loud enough to override the sounds within your own apartment despite your doors and windows being closed, then this place isn't for you. But for those that like a place where management enforces nothing, allowing residents to leave trash piled in halls, allows trash valet to spill nasty food all over the floors, allows residents to leave hazardous trash all over the ground near the dumpster, lets anyone take up the handicap spots, allows residents to scream and yell in their units at all hours, lets animal owners leave their animals to disturb others, does not provide features they advertised, and then hikes the rent up significant amounts at each renewal, then this place is for you. read more

I lived in one of the townhouses at the Allure for 2 1/2 years. The newer construction was nice and it's convenient to live near downtown Abacoa and the stadium. The neighborhood, however, is not the safest. Several car break-ins and home invasions while I was there. My greatest complaint with the Allure is how much they nickel and dime you. Their apartments are overpriced to begin with but once you go on a month-month the rent skyrockets. They also tell you things are included that aren't. I was paying $3,000 a month by the time I left. I also paid on time every month until my last month when I was one day late as I had stopped automatic payments. By the time my payment posted it was day after the 3 day grace period. They would not budge on removing the late fee. The location is okay if you can stand the crime, being overcharged and constantly nickel and dimed. read more

You know what sucks, when I first left my review here we were fairly new residents and I loved everything about the place. Eric and Seth in the office were amazing and we loved where we lived. We just moved out and we couldn't be happier to be GONE. This place went so far downhill so fast. Everyone they have in the office now is unbelievably rude and condescending it's shameful. They hire any asshole off the street to work for them. If you like your stuff covered in mold than make sure to get one of their on site storage units. If you enjoy standing in dog piss make sure to take the elevators and if you prefer to step in dog shit just go for a walk and you'll be sure to find some. If none of that interests you, you can always test your luck with the disease ridden dog park (although, it's not much of a dog park...more just a small fenced in grass area outside of a group of apartments patio doors). We have been in our apartment for less than a month and so far the apartment is great, location is awesome and parking is easy my only complaint is that they do Nickle and dime a lot of stuff. The mandatory cable and wifi through ATT was very annoying as we don't even use cable. They say they are removing it but when we ended up signing the lease it did feel like there was a lot of extra stuff we had to pay for that were added on. read more

Allure is actually the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The amenities are second to none (world-class pool area, two story gym with everything you need). Rent includes cable, wifi, and trash valet service which is nice. Eric and Seth were always extremely helpful at the drop of a hat. If I emailed Eric with an inquiry, he would respond in less than ten minutes. Anytime I went into the office, Seth or Eric was always willing to help and they were very patient and accommodating. Work orders were always taken care of the day they were placed. The apartments are new, and they look very high end inside. Every time I would have friends over, they would always comment on how nice our place was. The bedrooms and bathrooms in our 2/2 were very large and the layouts were convenient. You can't beat the surrounding area. It's nestled between all the grassy fields, parks, and hangouts that you could want. It's also near Roger Dean Stadium, so you can catch a baseball game whenever you'd like. I highly recommend Allure to anyone looking for high-end apartment living in Jupiter/Abacoa. read more

My wife and I have lived at the Allure for almost a year now and just happily renewed our lease. I made my first real estate purchase some 35 years ago immediately after leaving the Marine Corps and this is my first experience renting an apartment. We looked at six or seven other luxury apartments in the Jupiter area but when my wife walked into the 3 bedrooms 2 bathroom apartment poolside at the Allure I knew the search was over. The apartment had been completely refurbished with beautiful hardwood floors in the common areas and the carpet looked new in the bedrooms. Reading some of the reviews on Yelp surprise me and make me wonder if they are living at the same Allure I am living at... Everyone who works here managing and maintaining the property has been fantastic! They are professional and friendly and that was more important than ever this past year with everyone being confined. In my experience, if you treat people with respect they will treat you with respect... And I have a lot of experience with people all around the world and this rule applies in every culture on the planet that I have encountered... I have not had a single bad encounter with anyone who works at the Allure... And that includes everyone from the people who mow the lawn and trim the bushes, the guy who cleans the pool, everyone I have met on the maintenance staff, rental agents, assistant manager, and manager... The location is peaceful and I have not seen or heard of any acts of vandalism or crime in the area since I have been here. My wife loves to walk and I feel completely comfortable with her going out for her walks around the compound at night. I have read a few reviews that mention some vandals breaking some car windows before I moved here but that's the world we live in... It's unfortunate but as someone with a law enforcement and professional security background, this is about as peaceful and safe a neighborhood as you will find short of living inside of a compound with walls and security around you. I have never seen or heard any late-night loud parties and friends who warned me about renting a poolside apartment were wrong... We can't hear a thing with the doors and windows closed in our apartment. As for the complaints about the hallways and elevators being a mess, in my opinion, they are kind of unreasonable. The hallways are exposed and not inside of a building... Not completely enclosed anyway. I think management does a good job of keeping them clean. There was one time when someone vomited in the hallway outside our door and management had it cleaned up immediately as soon as I called them. When I read the complaints about spit and dog dung it's not exactly something management can be blamed for... That's on the people that live here and don't respect their neighbors, but it's really not a problem in the building I live in but I am confident based on my experience if I called management and told them there was a mess in the hallway that someone would have it cleaned up in no time... If you are bothered by everyone not being as considerate as they should be then perhaps living in a building full of people is not the thing for you. If you are looking for a nice apartment in the Jupiter area I would highly recommend you check out the Allure and if you are a military veteran you will not find a more veteran-friendly place in the area... They offer a pretty incredible discount on the application fees and deposit... That was something I found out about after deciding to rent here so it was kind of like the final affirmation we had made the right choice. :-) The Allure is a great place to live! read more

We have been here for 12 months and were happy to renew for another year. Allure offers all I would ever expect from a first class apartment community. We have had our share of apartment living, having the comparison, I have absolutely no complaints about Allure. From day one, our property manager, Slav, has accommodated and helped and advised on any issues and / or concerns. As long as you go by the few rules that ALL similar properties have a need of enforcing, I don't see why anybody would ever not enjoy this place. Since day one, responsiveness of both management and maintenance crew has been great - including crew member showing up at 1am to fix our ac unit. With success. You know what else we enjoy.. the fact that starting from Slav, you can actually see that they (all employees we have dealt with) are happy to provide the service you ask for. Every single time. Rare trade to see nowadays. No matter if it's a contract question, or a crew member helping you with trash carrying, I mean, really?! As for the apartment itself, we are in 2/2 unit on the 4th floor. I know I have neighbors, but I do not EVER hear them. Within 12 mo of living here, we had two service calls, normal wear and tear, with less than 2hrs response time. Let's be honest, what else can you expect!? The only regret I have is that I had larger patio. But that's a personal choice. read more

This place is absolutely awful. When I first moved in, I loved it... especially being the area it is in.. but it's not worth it anymore. I currently live here and I wish we could break our lease without being charged an arm and a leg. The staff sucks.. they would do anything to get money out of you and they are not helpful what so ever. The fire alarm goes off what seems just about every single day and they do NOTHING about it. I have a new born on the way and I don't know how I'll be able to deal with it once he's here. This place is just a rip off. They get on you about leaving your trash can outside for more than an hour between their trash can times and try to charge you for it. EVEN THOUGH multiple people do it, and they don't clean up trash from other residence if you complain.. they also have bad attitudes. Not to mention my boyfriend and I are 95% sure there is mold. We have tried contacting them about the problem and they say there isn't any, to cover their own butts.. but we have done our own tests and it's tested positive. Also, the carpets are coming up and to get someone to help is near impossible... like I said.. the money you pay to leave here IS NOT WORTH IT BY ANY MEANS. read more

This neighborhood is unsafe. You would think after over 20 cars getting broken into you would up your security. But no it happens again and nothing is done about it. I would never ever feel safe in this neighborhood. My advice is to make people feel safe and not have to worry if their car windows will get smashed in over the weekend while they are sleeping and get a better security system!! read more

Throughout the 2 and a half years living here my opinion has gone from good to not so good to bad with this place. I would like to explain this for those thinking about moving in, you should keep in mind a few things they don´t tell you, before you make a decision. This is like phone companies, everything is so easy to move in and a terror when you have to leave! Pros: 1) Located in a good spot, next to my job and 2) the pool and gym are nice. Cons: 1) Money grabbing company and extremely unavailable management in the office. It is so hard to find the manager in office hours, as she often leaves the office before 6pm and so many days she is not in at all. This means you have to deal with her assistants who can´t make any decisions without management approval and you are basically wasting your time. A couple of examples on this: I went to the office the day after I moved out to double check that we would get our deposit back and I was told very the assistant that everything looked good and in great condition and that they would get my final water payment from there and my final 2 days of rent. I confirmed this via email with the manager. Then one week later they tell us that NOT ONLY they are keeping our deposit, BUT they are charging us an extra $400 because the kitchen stove has some scratches!!! Then husband calls back and again, the manager isn´t in the office (surprise surprise), so the assistant tells him literally "she likes to charge for things, but usually she does´t charge for the kitchen stove", so I don´t know... FYI we left the house in impecable condition, and we took photos of everything, just in case. A kitchen stove gets marked since the day you start cooking on it, so it seems like Allure gives you the stove to look at it and not to cook on it. I was extremely surprised that something like this is not included in wear and tear. 2) AC issues all the time. At least in my apartment, the ACs had a lot of evaporation issues, which very often left us with no AC for a while usually in the summer. Luckily I learnt how to fix it my self and I could temporarily make it work until they came to empty the water. 3) Noise. The materials of the houses are so bad that you can hear everything everywhere. I could even hear the fan of the neighbor downstairs going on at night and every single argument they had. 4) Dirty. The corridors are covered in dead bugs. I personally don´t care so much about it but it is a fact. 5) Safety. I haven´t had issues myself but during my time here there where a couple of incidents of people getting mugged in the parking lot. What I did see was my bottom neighbors doing and dealing with drugs in the doorstep. They would always be smoking in the stairs and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The smell of the smoke coming out of their house was quite disgusting too. (Hopefully you will have better neighbors if you move there, this is just my experience). 6) Moving out nightmare. So, this not only applies to Allure but to Florida. You are only allowed to do year to year rent (or your monthly fees increase SO MUCH). So if you break the lease, you are responsible for the rent until not only new tenants sign a contract but until they move in!!! AND in allure, they make you pay for an extra week while they clean and paint the apartment. This means they can take your apartment off the market and in the last minute tell you that the new tenants have decided to push back the date of their move in, so you are responsible for an extra week. This happened to us, twice. And there was nothing we could do about it. This was OBVIOUSLY not explained to us when we signed the year lease, I specifically asked about because we were going it move out mid year and she made it look like it would be very simple and we would only pay until we stayed. So yeah! Just keep it in mind. 7) Mold and bug issues. I didn't this issues but I heard from a couple of friends who lived there that they had a nightmare with these. read more

Current resident. Waiting for my lease to finally end. Where to begin... My biggest issue with this place is that you are forced into a ~$100/month contract with ATT U-Verse (it's included in your lease), which provides you with 8 MBPS of internet speed via DSL (yes, DSL, you are not having a flashback to 2001) and basic channels (we recently lost the NFL network and are about to lose CBS). Constant buffering issues with Netflix and other streaming services. The complex is wired for fiber optic, however, some genius in management agreed to this contract with ATT and now we all have to deal with it. I have spoken with ATT CS multiple times and they flat out said that we got screwed over and that we should not be paying for DSL when we are wired for fiber optic. You can add fiber optic speed to your apartment (100 MBPS) if you are willing to pay an additional $60/month. However, you are still paying for DSL as per their deal with the Allure, whether you like it or not. I have brought this up to Suave (the manager) and he basically could not be bothered, he even provided me with the contact information for the snake who works for ATT that suckered the Allure into signing this deal. He obviously was not interested in speaking with me since I am not the manager. The hallways are covered in spiders, spider webs and other insects that swarm when you leave your apartment at night. They used to pressure wash the hallways regularly, now it's maybe 1-2x per year. You are going to pay ~$37 per month for garbage pickup, which is 5 days/wk and forces everyone to leave their trash outside of their apartments every night and leads to garbage juice puddles being left all over the hallway floors. They have a lot of empty apartments here because they keep raising rent, while the quality of service has decreased, plus now you have other options across the street, like Alton, which is brand new construction. Therefor, they began letting in loud college students who get drunk and pee in the bushes when a bathroom is too far away. Have to ask yourself why they are giving you $1000 off your first month's rent and free electronics as gifts, just for moving in. When something is worth the money, you don't need to give people free crap to buy it. read more

We moved in a few months after opening. Once the new property management took over you saw major improvement in how work orders were handled and the responsiveness of the leasing office (Eric and Seth are awesome). The location is perfect, and our neighbors are very friendly - everyone says hello and knows each other by name. The hurricane impact glass is very effective; the property is right next to the stadium and we never have an issue with noise during baseball season. The pool is beautiful and the gym is very spacious. The only aesthetic we have an issue with are the unfinished concrete floors in the hallways - but that's a matter of preference. Beware-- Management just started implementing a new rule-- YOU will be responsible for paying for THEIR washing machines when they break down in your apartment. And, they will break! Allure bought these cheap washers where the drum moves around like a joy stick causing your clothes to slip into the walls of the machine, which damages it. Since they're tired of having to fix their mistake of adding these types of washers in all of their units, they're now charging YOU for a whole new drum! Not to mention, you already pay a monthly maintenance fee for repairs. Also, parking at night is a pain. Never any spots. It's ridiculous, really. And, the hallways to the entrances of your properties are gross! Allure has white concrete floors (white of all colors) throughout the halls and they're filled with stains from our garbage and everything else. Valet trash is great & super convenient, but Allure doesn't have a bin with a lid or anything outside of our units to put our trash in that covers it up. We, instead, are told to put our garbage cans out there but some don't because they don't want their indoor garbage cans outside. Needless to say, lots of people just put their trash bags on the floor, which you can't blame them for. It's all a big mess and looks gross. Another thing that's super annoying is when lawn service comes. I believe they come about 2-3 times per week. They start around 7:30am and stay for HOURS! (Until LATE afternoon.) The noise, the gas smell... is so agitating. It keeps me on edge the entire time. If you have a day off or work from home, it takes away from the tranquility of living in Abacoa. I like to have the windows opened to feel the cool breeze coming through, but you can't enjoy that here on these days. I wouldn't mind waiting an hour or so for lawn service to be completed, but it's endless. The sound NEVER ceases! It goes on and on and on for hours and hours. I can't wait to leave! read more

Maintenance guy is AWFUL! He is rude, lies, steals and is disrespectful. The home I was in had mold and he blamed me and said he "couldn't use the M word"...they had me move to an apartment, took part of my security and didn't offer anything for the inconvenience of living with mold and not being able to breathe and have a fan blow out the wetness after they pulled part of the base board out let alone for having to move right away. Then they had a new person move in! Without fixing the problem and now this guy is having to deal with the same thing. Do not trust this apartment complex or this shady maintenance guy! He also stole my Brita filter and was excited to "bring it home to his girlfriend" he told the other maintenance guy instead of returning it to me as a professional would knowing where I moved! I don't know how Jim hasn't been fired yet. Can't wait for my lease to be over to never have to see him ever again or deal with these issues again. My new place has an AC problem but I don't even want to call to deal with him. read more

A lot of the bad reviews were during the reign of the original management company. Those people have all been replaced. The new management works hard to please everyone, takes suggestions, and responds quickly. New construction is great! No old weary apartments here. And the location can't be beat; walk to downtown Abacoa and Roger Dean Stadium. Plus close to highways yet surrounded by trees. The dog park is well maintained and a joy to use. The pool is to die for. Heated, lit and comfortable chairs. Lots of stairs and ledges to sit on. The pool has cabanas and nice cushioned furniture. Lovely! I love living there and loved the people. I would absolutely go back if I have occasion to live in the area again. read more

I moved in prior to the new management. It was a very stressful and horrible experience. My entire time living at Allure was not an enjoyable one. The new management assured tenants that the changes would be for the better, but only some things improved slightly. The review prior to mine must either work for the company, is a friend or simply hasn't experienced issues... just yet. Edited to add: Just saw a review by Eric B with his stellar review. Eric B. Works for Allure. Good try though... The breezeways are disgusting and even with new management the concrete floor is still unfinished. It constantly had dog feces on it and stains from other dogs urine. It smells. The stairways are not kept up. Cobwebs and dirt/dust are on the railings. Their insulation is horrible. You can hear EVERYTHING. People snoring in the floors below and next to you and foot steps are heard constantly. The pool area is very nice, however it's not secure. Numerous times the police had to be called for noise disturbances after 10:00pm at night. You are told by management that the pool gate is locked by their courtesy officer each night at 10:00pm, but that simply is not true and even if it was, people are jumping the gate because it is so low ANYONE can get in. Even after their new bracelets were given out to the tenants and for their guests to help prevent these issues, it didn't really matter. There would be people drinking in the pool and flicking their cigarette and cigar ashes into the pool. Each time these issues were addressed, nothing was ever done about it. This development is truly for single people and not at all for families with children. There are numerous building issues with this development. The insulation was done very poorly inside the apartments. The air conditioning units are not the right size for the apartments, which has caused numerous mold issues in various apartments because it is too humid. The code of compliance also had complaints against this development. It's public knowledge folks. There is dog urine in the elevator a lot of the time and when there is not dog urine, the elevator smells like dog. These are NOT luxury apartments. They may look nice, however, once you move in you begin to see that the appliances are very cheap. My washer's drum kit failed after only a few months of living there. It had to be replaced. The square footage is small whether you choose an apartment or a townhouse. The rent is way over priced for the quality you receive. The fitness area is so ridiculous, you have to take the elevator upstairs to access the small cardio room. The air ventilation on the second floor is so bad you need to keep the door open and even with the door propped open, it's still too hot and stuffy. They also do not have an AED in the gym which is a big NO NO. This is my experience living at Allure and I would not recommend it to ANYONE. Especially people with children. It is NOT kid friendly. The ONLY positives that I would mentions is that it's walking distance to the town center and if you live there you can get a great view off your balcony to see the fireworks on July 4th if your unit and balcony faces the stadium. I could continue to go on with more negatives, but I am thankfully no longer there and have moved on from that nightmare. I have lived all of the country and I have never had a more unpleasant experience. The property itself is in a good location but like most new apartments these days, you can tell that they the used cheap materials. For example, in the few months that I have been here, the front door handle snapped leaving me locked in the apartment and my dishwasher was hanging out of the center island because it was securely fastened when installed. I understand issues happen but the worst part is property management is completely incompetent and unresponsive. I had a mold issue in my apartment and it took them three days to get an outside party to come and look at it. In fact, one of their first responses to me was that they had their onsite maintenance man go and look and he could not find the source of the mold (end e-mail). I responded by saying that simply because he could not find the source does not mean that the issue is resolved. I took pictures and e-mailed them so there certainly was a cause. Finally, they did what they should have done when I contacted them in the first place and they hired an outside specialist to inspect my unit. It took three days of back and forth. When I complained to the property manager that a potential health hazard such as mold should have been dealt with more expediently and that she really dropped the ball she told me that I was "attacking" her because I used an expression with and expletive in it to describe the situation. She also asked if I would speak to my boss that way? She's not my boss! On another occasion, the property management team needed to enter my unit to fix something that was installed incorrectly (no problem). I came home that day to find my door partly open with the master key in the lock and all the lights on in my unit! When I informed property management they told me something to the effect of thank you for returning the key (I returned the key and then wrote them an e-mail). I don't know if the property management company is just completely inept or they just don't care. Either way, stay away! read more

Moving to a new state can be stressful, especially finding a place to live. My fiancé had started his new job in West Palm at the beginning of March while I was still in Texas working. We looked at several different apartments in Jupiter, this was the first one we visited and we knew right away this place was the one we wanted to call home. Swav was tremendous in helping us out with the application and leasing process via email and phone and keeping in touch with us for the month or so while we were back and forth from Texas to Florida with work and moving. The complex and its amenities are amazing! Events are always going on during the weekends and being right next to the stadium is great! Definitely planning on living here for the next couple years! read more

EXTREME CAUTION before leasing here!!!!!!!! I am the first resident of the entire community (at least that's what I was told in the beginning) more on that issue later. With that being said I have seen this place from conception before The buildings were even started to its half ass completion all the way through till today. I moved in here as I thought it would be a convenient place to live (which it most certainly is! It is extremely accessible via 95 or the turnpike and close to great shopping the beaches etc.). I also figured they had a reasonable security deposit (guess it was around $250) rather than paying first last and security (which could be $6000 or more if I were to rent a regular home. As you read on you will see as I have learned I should have just paid the 6000 up front and moved elsewhere. Now to be fair I live in the townhomes and the townhomes are extremely well-built and energy efficient. My old townhome across the street's electric bill was around $150 a month whereas here it's around $75 a month and I keep the air at 70° always. They have the hurricane/storm glass which is very quiet. As far as the problems with my home there has only been a handful but they have been ongoing. One of them is the fuse continually blows that controls the garage/laundry room and several light sockets. The smoke detectors continually beep randomly throughout the night. I have changed all the batteries at least 20 times. Also the "energy-efficient" lightbulbs continually blowout. And the most recent issue is the garage door does not work. With the new management they now have to find a new garage door company to service as apparently the old company who installed the garage doors when they built the homes will no longer honor the contract. (some crazy shit like that). Anyway I'm left with an inoperable garage door. I understand things happen and contracts laps and I'm sure they will get to it. Eventually. It has been over two weeks and no answer in reference to repairing my garage door. HERES THE REAL ISSUES!!!!!! I was told my rent would be around $2000-$2100 per month" everything would be included". I was told specifically the trash, TV, Internet, electric, water and a few others were all included in the rent and that it's "actually saving me money". Well that's just not the case as I'm paying closer to $3000 a month. My rent is over 2600 and I am continually nickeled and dime and for valet trash service (you put your trash outside and it's picked up and you're charged for it). That's the same thing every city and county across the country does that's included in your taxes. I was also told since I was the first resident is getting a discount I also get a water bill and cable bill (again I was told by the leasing person that "everything is included in the rent". I have actually discussed this with many of my neighbors and they have said they too were led to believe everything was included and it even said that on their original website. $500 extra per month fee if you go month-to-month (they sure don't tell you that when you're signing up) Now here's a real issue and completely not right!!!! I went to go month-to-month after my year lease was up at which point I was informed it would be an additional $500 per month. I then decided to sign a 7 month lease in January. Went to the leasing office to sign the new lease and their printer was broken I was told. Of course I understand that things happen and I told them to let me know when they had the new lease ready I repeatedly emailed about new lease n finally stopped back about three or four weeks later and the new lease was finally able to be printed however I was informed that it had to begin when the lease was printed so they stuck me for an extra month due to their ineptitude and my total understanding and patience. Told me they could not backdate a lease even though it was their fault or their inability to print one out. Now they are very quick to defend their actions and the answer quickly for negative reviews posts etc but you wait weeks and weeks/ months for anything to be fixed or any lease issues etc. They had a security guard there while the property was under construction to guard the construction materials. Now the people live there there is no security. I find that odd as construction equipment can be replaced a life can not. Someone was carjacked in the parking lot about a month or two ago at gunpoint. Of course I understand that could happen anywhere but again why security during construction when no one lives there but now that everyone's living there there is no security. Also there is not one person working there today that was there one year ago when they opened the entire staff is a revolving door. I have waited 11 months to do a review so that I could do a proper review. When we first moved in we loved it, the area is nice, maintenance team is excellent, and it is close to FAU Jupiter. However, 3 months in we realized that is not very well kept for the price we pay to live here. The elevator doors are covered in small dead bugs, the inside of the elevator reeks of dog piss, and the freaking hallways have dog feces on the ground. I live here with small children and we literally have to play hopscotch to get to our apartment. So I got the bright idea to just take the stairs. Well why on Earth did I do that? The stairs are riddled with huge spiders and spider webs as well as more dog feces. Now I do understand that you cannot control nature, or the nature of a dog but people pay entirely too much money per month to be living in filth. And to add insult to injury, we were fined for putting our trash out 1 hour early (we knew we wouldn't be back in time for trash pickup) but you literally have dog shit in the hallways and we get fined for putting our trash neatly outside our door. So, here I am 11 months in, the water that comes out of the master bathroom sink smells really bad, and my actual apartment is riddled with bugs and yes I submitted a ticket for that and no one came and sprayed. We got a notice on our door back in June about lease renewal, and the letter stated that they would be going up on the rent, I already pay close to $1900/mo for a small two bedroom, the ironic thing is, at the bottom of the letter it said "take advantage of our competitive prices," I rolled my eyes so hard you would've though I went to sleep. This place is not worth it at all. The first night we moved in I heard my neighbors doing adult things, that's how thin the walls are. I've never been happier to say "good riddance to bad trash!" The fact that there is never any parking for actual residents is a whole different story. Anyway, needless to say, this place is not for families. If you have children, you could find a nice, spacious three bedroom townhome in this same area for the same price of the Allure's two bedroom. I know because I just did. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Living here was an absolute nightmare. First off, the apartments are built like absolute shit, you can hear just about everything throughout the apartment and can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways from your couch. Not only did my air break 3 times but the fire alarms beep in the middle of the night almost every week.. So eventually I had to take them all down and leave them out so they wouldn't wake me up again.. talk about danger... The people who run this place are extremely unprofessional. When we moved out and dropped our keys off, they lost them and then call us asking where the keys are!!!!! They will charge you for just about anything including putting your trash out at 5pm instead of 6pm WHEN YOUR PAYING $26 a month for a valet trash service.... I'm sorry I work at night and I needed to put it out an hour early. We were also charged $200 in late fee's because there system glitched and the reoccurring payment was not taken out of my account which had been taken out EVERY other month..... but it's my fault.. "I should have checked" states Ashley from the office... This complex is nothing but problems.. do not lease there. read more
