She explained what she would do to eyebrows and also checked in with me to see how I wanted my eyebrows to look. She did an amazing job and was so sweet. She sells powder that can be used to fill in your brows and I ended up buying some because it looked so good and it came with two brushes. I will only go to her to do eyebrows from here on out. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. I have been to see Sejal about 3 to 4 times already and oh my goodness she is amazing! I had never had my eyebrows threaded before. I would usually just get them waxed. But I found that waxing didn't last long and it seems like the prices kept increasing. I did some research and found that most people were saying that having your eyebrows threaded would give a cleaner look and they would last longer so I decided to give it a try. Now, it's true what they say - it is a bit uncomfortable and there is a little bit of pain involved but to me it's only a little bit more than having your hair ripped out of your skin via waxing. And, honestly after the third or fourth visit it's not as painful as the first time. I think the first time is the worst because you don't know what to expect. Sejal is highly skilled, patient and very detail oriented. She's also just a very sweet woman on top of all of that. I feel like she and I could be best friends. You can tell that she really loves what she does. She gets in there and gets to all of those spots that you are paranoid about. I feel like I am a furry beast half of the time and I'm very conscientious of hair growing out of my chin and my neck area. And then, when my eyebrows start to go crazy, I'm very self-conscious. I can't wait to get back in her chair. She takes her time and she makes sure that you are satisfied. After a recommendation from a friend, I decided to give Allure Brow a go. She was right! Threading is less painful & quicker than waxing! I had both my brows & upper lip done. Sejal at Allure Brow was able to be much more precise with the hair removal with threading than with my past experiences with waxing. She was friendly and very kind. Upon finding out I was a first-timer, she explained very thoroughly the benefits of threading, and the sensation I would feel, which almost nothing! My upper lip was a bit more sensitive to the experience, but I expected this with the nerve endings being right there. Threading made my brows more defined, without taking away too much hair. This is very important to me as I am a natural redhead and my brows are more on the fair side. She finished off using a brow defining powder to darken them up & VOILÀ ...perfect brows!!
