Coming from Los Angeles we can be real snobs with this subject as we have experienced great theater at places like Disneyland, Upright Citizens Brigade Improve theater and even The Hollywood Bourbon Rooms interactive production of Rock of Ages (sadly ended during COVID). It is wonderful to see this group has sustained for so long and many people rave about it. I even had a client in Los Angeles visiting from AZ tell me he had heard great things about this company, albeit not experienced it before. The show we saw was hosted at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant. The food is in alignment with the restaurant; oversized portions served family style with a limited set menu. That being said, they were able to accommodate my vegan husband and other guests at my table that are gluten free. The theater production takes place before and during your dinner in one of the private rooms at the restaurant. Everyone gets a character name tag so be prepared to be pulled up to participate. It's all a part of the fun. The room hosted about 20 diners/attendees making it an intimate experience. Perfect for all ages and laughs were shared all around. I highly recommend to any local or out of towner to spice up your dinner with this lively and colorful experience.

Went to the Jazzbird venue. Very disappointed. It's a venue that has no identity. It's not a…read morerestaurant. It's not a bar. It's not a nightclub. It's not a music venue. It tries to be those things and fails in all. The layout: It's a long narrow room. The stage is on the smaller far end. The tables are arranged going back along the long direction. If you're sitting more than halfway back you'll be disappointed in the seating. In the back are high-top tables which are very small. The "bar" is along the long wall. The "restaurant" is catered food ( I don't think the venue has a kitchen). It's arranged buffet style on portable tables in the lobby. You go in a line and chose your dinner and they hand it to you in a plastic to-go container. You eat at your table and then bus your leftovers and trash to the trash can. There is no wait service. Just like eating at a fast food restaurant. If your sitting at a small high-top table there's not enough room for more than two people to eat. You'll be seated with strangers and they'll be right in your face as you eat. The "bar" only has beer and wine for alcohol. Or you could get a canned mixed drink. Stand in line and wait your turn at the end of the bar. The bar seats are reserved for the show. Remember no wait service. So if you want a drink during the show you have to go to the bar. Music was not Jazz. Very slow, boring folk. The crowd was 70+ year olds. And they charge for this experience? Won't be going back.

She literally ignored me while I spoke to her and said, "I am not listening to youuuuuu." I brought my child here so that she could have some fun with a friend. My child has been on stage in recitals at church, so I knew she was ready. The day that I brought her in for a trial to see if the class was age-appropriate I was pressured to decide on site if my child wanted to participate in a recital in May (which cost $100 per costume and $150 in recital "fees". I said yes only because they assured me they'd worked with kids before. They couldn't even keep her in the room. They have a range from 2.5 years to almost 6 in the same room, having them stand in one spot for an hour with different instructors each week would sit and just give orders to the kids. In any case, the owner treated me so poorly, berated and ignored me as I tried to open a line of commutation with her. The receptionist is someone who is approachable, but any level of professional or even human treatment it stops there. They offer a summer camp, which is laughable. Who would trust their children with you? Hey T and L, no matter how many times you flag or try to remove my review as you have the others, I will save it, and repost it. This is a matter of principle and you shouldn't get away with treating people this way nor should you have access to children if you don't know to to speak to people.

They both apologised to each other and to the theatre manager but they were both removed from the play using a "zero tolerance" policy. We were not refunded the $300 entrance fee for her participation (or rather not as it turned out) in the production. This would have been her 5th time being in a play with this theatre. However they did tell her she was welcome to come be in future productions. Highly unlikely and I would keep this kind of intolerance for children in mind before attending anything there.

The server said he would go get them for me. I waited almost 10 minutes and got another server and after another 20 minutes the southwest fries arrived. The cheese was stone cold. I barely touuched them and the sandwhich had chicken on one side and no meet on the other side. After the movie, I requested to see the manager. The manager came and instead of apologizing he was combative. Stating to me that the southwest fries were not cold because he plated them . Saying to me " what do you want me to do?" Also stating that he is glad they have cameras, because he wants to get to the bottom of this. But never just apologizing. I informed him how my sandwhich had no chicken on 1/2 of it and he said that is the way they measure it. It was gross the way I was treated and I was reasonible. I told him I have no problem paying for my sons dinner and both drinks, but not mine. He accommodated me but was not apologetic. I have been going for years to this theater and it seems that the food has been inconsistant. The manager seemed more like he didn't care. I thought I would let you know. You go to have a good night. I stopped by for an Agatha Christie play on a Thursday at 7:30. First off, parking won't be an issue in their complimentary lot. I came straight to the theater for the performance, but if you're looking for some food and drinks before the show, there are a good number of bars and restaurants within close proximity. Once you arrive, there's a small lobby area to check in. From there, walk to the back to reach the theater. It seats roughly 100 people or so, so it's definitely a small theater. Which I love. You're right there in the heart of the action with a great view of the performance. With that being said, you won't get as elaborate of a set design as bigger theaters in town, but they make up for it in other ways. E.g. affordable ticket prices. Before the show and during intermission, they sell water, soft drinks, and snacks. Not a wide variety of options, but at $2 a pop, you've gotta love the prices. I for sure was the youngest person at the performance (kids these days don't know what they're missing), but that's totally fine by me. Looking forward to stopping by for another performance in the near future!
