I wasn't sure if I wanted eyelash extensions. I was really nervous about them turning out too wispy, or too long, or to this or too that. I expressed my concerns to Kate and in a very kind and friendly way she walked me through the process while acknowledging everything I was hesitant about. I decided to give lash extensions a second chance after I had them done in CA and had a bad experience. My lashes from the place prior to Allure did not do a good job and so I decided to come back home to CO and get them done at Allure Skincare and Lash. It's only been a few days but I can honestly say that I LOVE my lashes and I can tell the quality of the work here just by seeing how secure the lashes are. I love this place and I'm so sad I don't live in Denver anymore! Nicole is the BEST for lash lifts. The curl she does is beautiful. It's not too crazy high (I've been to some places where they just make your lashes go straight up without much an actual curl), but it's also very noticeable and actually a lift (whereas some other places I've gone, it looks like they didn't do anything). I recently moved to a new city and I haven't found anyone who does a lash lift as well as Nicole does. Also, other estheticians at Allure have done my lash tints in between the lifts, and they've all been wonderful as well. I have also been so impressed with the quality of the salon. Wow!!! This was an incredible experience. I got a lash lift and tint with Joanne and it was delightful. Not only was she sweet, but she is skilled! Heather is wonderful! When I come to Denver to see those grandbabies, this is where I come for lashes. I came in for a 3 week fill from my salon at home, but eyelashes were completely naked. (My natural lashes are very short and blond/grey.) Heather recommended a much thinner diameter lash, but still with the same length. This place was amazing. Christine took really good care of me and was very informative and thorough and really took the time to make sure she was meeting my needs and explaining the process. I got my lips done and she was so careful it was nearly painless. I've had them done elsewhere before and had some bruising afterwards, but not this time! I have mixed feelings about this place. My initial service was a lash lift that didn't come out so great. The initial lift looked like my lashes had nothing done to them. They promised to book me with another tech who did phenomenal job at lifting my lashes exactly how I like. Came back to get another lash lift by the tech that did it last time. Prior to the appointment expressed my want to get a facial done for the following day. The tech mentioned not being available but would book me with someone they trust. We had texted about this as well as talked about it while getting my lashes done in person. The tech had booked my appointment for 3pm the following day or so I thought. Upon arrival the staff member present was currently busy with a customer. The staff member asked me if I had an appointment, I said yes, they asked for what, I said a facial. The staff member could not locate my appointment for today. The staff member asked if I had received a confirmation, as I searched my email, I realized the tech set the appointments for 4 weeks from today. I immediately walked out when the staff member said they had no more openings. I found it extremely disheartening and inconvenient. As I had scheduled my day around this appointment only to find it was set 4 weeks from today. If you're wanting upbeat customer service, I would say it's subpar here. Needless to say will not be returning. read more

There are many other salons that carry the same products and offer the same services where you will actually be treated with kindness, value and respect. I have given thousands of dollars to Allure Skincare & Lash over the past several years (and referred a number of friends) which unfortunately means nothing to the owner, who continues to raise her prices yet cannot provide basic customer service to her clients and instead drives people away by saying "there's nothing i can do to help you."
