Zenobia is the best! My eyebrows have never looked better. Not to mention her facials will put you fast to sleep/relax mode.

I used to let anybody with warm wax shape my brows for me until I found they were uneven and a visit away from being nonexistent. Being that I have short bangs, there's not a lot of options to hide such a disaster and I took desperate measures and stopped managing them all together. When I found my brow fully grown in and I resembled Frida, I knew it was time to trust someone again. Zenobia told me to lie down on the table. LIE DOWN? yep. She was happy to work with a fresh palate, and she successfully honed in on my natural brow arch and sent me home happy. But with the state I was in then, couldn't anybody have made me happy...maybe. So before touting her amazing abilities I figured I would try her a few more times. After my third visit, I can honestly say Zenobia is the best brow waxer in Denver county (probably further). She's not only talented at her trade, she's very friendly, and always asks "anything new with your skin regimen?" to verify she's not working with something that will cause issues such as Retin-A. Updated review. I have been seeing Eyebrow lady for a few months, still continued to be great UNTIL last time I went. I've been meaning to write this review for a month but kept forgetting. I was seeing Chelsea but she left to go elsewhere so I had Zenobia do my brows. They. Are. Awful. I'm trying to grow them back out and am afraid if I go anywhere to get them done, there will either be nothing left or there is not enough for someone to work with. They're so uneven and scrawny looking it's embarrassing. I'm obviously filling them in with a pencil but I'd still like to have eyebrows. I've changed my mind on The Eyebrow Lady and I will not be coming back. ........ I love it! I'm new to a Denver and am trying to find the place I like best to get my eyebrows done. I've been to a couple other places before this. First of all, I love that I can make a reservation online. Super easy and convenient. I did find the location odd, it's in a building by Alamo Placita Park and was a little confusing to find. However, upon my arrival Chelsea was super friendly and nice. The place is small, small waiting area with desk and a partition that blocked off 1 massage table. But! This was by far the best eyebrow experience ever. It was the most gentle waxing I've felt. It's been a year and two months since I moved to Denver. Its been a year and two months since I've had my eyebrows done well in Denver. Until Today. I'm from South Carolina where it is REQUIRED to look polished at all times. No offense to Denver, but such is not the case here. Beauty and aesthetics are years behind if not non-existent entirely. Again, no offense Denver. I'm Egyptian with thick dark hair thus, I have to get my eyebrows done almost every two weeks. So divide the year and 2 months I've been here by two weeks and you'll understand where my frustration over not finding a good eyebrow lady comes from. That is, until I met the eyebrow ladies at so appropriately named "The Eyebrow Lady" of Denver. Zenobia is an artist of eyebrows but then she went and hired two other amazing eyebrow ladies that bring to the table the whole and complete trifecta. Today I got what I call the famous "Mrs. Ann" of Sunset Nails in Columbia, South Carolina. The perfect combination of thickness and shape that they almost look fake that I'd been getting for the last 10 years until I moved here. What Zenobia started, today Ebony (who teaches eyebrow shaping classes by the way no big deal) waxed, threading, and plucked my eyebrows literally hair by hair until my perfect "Mrs. Ann" was achieved. I have never been happier with my eyebrows since Mrs. Ann did them herself. You can tell that these women are extremely focused on their work and very talented at what they do not to mention knowledgeable and extremely nice.They live, breathe, and wax eyebrows. Thankfully, they've added three days of walk-ins welcome: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday and a $3 off happy hour between 2-4. Do not use Chelsie ! She ruin my eyebrows ! I was very specific about what I want. She made them into straight lines ! I look like cartoon character. I told her I'm not happy . Her respond was " ok ". I said it's not ok. Her response " what do you want me to do ?????" I really ? Not even I'm sorry for messing up your eyebrows that need to grow back for coupe of months ???? Nothing. She just doesn't listen what you want. Natural line don't mean straight line. She said she heard me saying natural but didn't hear me say not straight. I just got my eyebrows waxed here and on my way home I felt some burning. When I got home and looked in the mirror I saw that a pretty sizable chunk of skin between my brows had been ripped off. Not only does it look terrible, it is pretty painful. I got my eyebrows done for vacation that I was really looking forward to, but having a scab between my eyes kind of ruins it for me. I heard about the eyebrow lady from my office mate who heard about her from her hair stylist so we just had to check her out. I'm happy that I did. I checked out her website and saw that she said 15mins for a Brazilian wax and I was SOLD, I knew I had to try it! The online scheduling was a breeze and I was able to get an appointment in a decent amount of time. The building was a little confusing to find at first but if you just do a little searching and read carefully it's actually not that hard to find and there is ample free parking around the park! BOUNS! I was greeted the minute I walked in the door and offered cold water while I waited. My appointment started promptly at the scheduled appointment time and Zenobia was friendly and professional. The actual Brazilian was as pleasant as a Brazilian wax can be and she delivered it in less than 15minutes. She explained that since I was coming from shaving that I may see some uneven growth, which I totally expect. (Like I said she is very nice and professional) The price is what you expect and is totally reasonable and can't beat the 10% first time customer discount! It was fast, very close to painless and fun. First she listened, then did what I asked, then suggested something like tinting that I hadn't planned to have done but matched my hair color perfectly. I moved to Denver from Brooklyn, NY where "threading" shops exist on every corner. Leaving Brooklyn meant I had to leave my favorite, trustworthy eyebrow threader- Saira. I was petrified of finding a new person to do my eyebrows. For every woman knows the fear of having half an eyebrow plowed from the face. Fortunately, I have discovered the Eyebrow Lady and now my eyebrows look better than ever. She is incredible and really knows how to give you the eyebrows that you want. She is precise, clean, friendly, and efficient. Upon my 2nd visit to her, she suggested that I use an eyebrow pencil to give me more of the "arch" that I wanted. Since my hair is light and is sparse, this has been a challenge. She used the pencil to show me how it would look AND then she taught me how to do it. It looks great! I ended up buying the pencil she used (I liked that it was Made in the USA). If you are paranoid about your eyebrows, I suggest going here. It's worth it. read more

There are not enough superlatives in the English language to fully express how much I love Zenobia. "The Eyebrow Lady" gives hands down the best experience I have EVER received waxing (and I've been playing this little game for nearly 12 years). I have never been as pleased with the shape of my brows as I have been the past few months she has been working on them. I knew this was a whole other ballgame when she asked me to actually sit up on the table, and finished off the session looking at my brows straight on (y'know, at the angle people normally see my brows) and making the final, shape-perfecting plucks. She has the INSANE ability to remember exactly what my eyebrows have looked like every time I have been there, and can explain to me just what that pesky hair is doing now vs. last time vs. where it was when we began. She never guilts me when I take longer than the usual 3-4 weeks to make it in for an appointment, and instead assures me that it's a good thing to let them go wild every once in a while to help fill everything in. The whole business runs incredibly smoothly - the online booking system is super convenient (and I can almost always find a slot in the next 12-24 hours) and payment is quick and easy through Square app. Extra perks like 10% off your first visit and a punch card are just cherries on top. Zenobia has a gift. I'm totally obsessed, and will never trust another living soul with my brows again. read more

This was a great experience from beginning to end. It was very easy to book an appointment online and I even received a reminder email and voicemail. 825 E Speer is a cool building with row after row of small businesses. The front door was locked (apparently that's common on weekends) but you can go through the side door. It's in Suite 212. Zenobia is very good at what she does. My threading/tweezing was hygienic, fast, and I was very happy with the results. My eyebrows happen to be pretty straightforward to shape, so I didn't get the chance to be as blown away as some of the other reviewers, but I don't doubt she knows what she is doing. I was able to pay on my Discover card using Square (it even calculates the tip for you) and get an email receipt. Between that and the ease of the web site, I was impressed by the easy high-tech nature of the business. Two words of caution: 1) The cost of an eyebrow threading is $20. Where I'm from on the east coast, threading is usually $5-$10, $12 at max, so I was surprised. But that may just be what it costs around here. 2) If you are deeply committed to threading, be forewarned that this is not a true threading experience. I got the majority of my eyebrows cleaned up with thread, but the actual shaping was done with tweezers. I was happy with the results but I missed that sharp, perfectly defined line which you get with threading. Still, all in all a 5-star experience and unless I'm able to find a NYC-style $5 threading kiosk, I'll definitely be back. (Edit: I found a great threading place! Let me just preface my review by saying that my eyebrows are thick and unruly, always have been. I used to have them tweezed by a top rated make up artist in the Denver area (I won't name names here) and my eyebrows always looked too thin for my face. I never thought she shaped them according to what would look good on me. I stopped going to her and resorted to plucking myself for a long time. Then I discovered threading, which I LOVE, and started getting them threaded every few months or so. I still wasn't thrilled with the shape or thickness but I figured that bad eyebrows were just my lot in life. Then I found Zenobia. She has a VERY special talent, it's magical really. I see her religiously once a month and for the first time in my life, my eyebrows actually look good - they have a lovely arch, aren't too thin or too thick, and they just look neat and clean. It makes a HUGE difference in the way I look, which I never really thought would be the case. Zenobia is fast, professional, and really knows what eyebrow shape looks great on a person. Honestly I do not understand the poor reviews. Zenobia does a great job. Be clear about the shape you want and the condition of your skin. I have been coming here for three years and never been disappointed. Yes she is running a business so there are policies about lateness and so forth. I can understand the desire on part of clients for wiggle room but I understand her as a business owner myself. I find the prices fine and the service always courteous and professional. Look if you want good eyebrows, come here. Be nice. Be communicative. Be on time. I have always gotten precisely what I wanted and I am very picky. I have been going to Zenobia for the past few years and I refuse to see anyone else. She spends a lot of time on my brows to make sure they are perfect everytime, and as someone with very dark brows this is huge. Not only is she excellent at making my brows perfectly shapped and natural looking she is easy-going and easy to talk to. I also love the business practices she has in place. I have never been anywhere else that has a punch card for brows so the tenth one is free. Additionally, I love utilizing her complimentary one week touch up service. I have also gotten a few facials from her as well. They all have left my skin glowing and refreshed. She makes the service so relaxing and her massage techniques are amazing! Was chatting with my friends the other week about waxing, and here I am bragging about having naturally great eyebrows that don't need maintenance. There was a slightly awkward silence. "Um...well, you could use a little cleanup", my friend gently suggested. That was enough for me to make an appointment. I like my brows a little on the thicker side...no penciling them in for me, and Zenobia respected that, and left them thicker but beautifully maintained This gal is sweet & fab. This is the first time I've ever waxed my brows, and she made this a painless experience with great results at an affordable price of $20, (well $18 for me because it's 10% off your first time). I tear up normally when trying to pluck the bottom of my brow, so I thought waxing would be ridiculously painful on my sensitive skin. Your eyebrows are on your face! They're important, so make sure they are in good hands. I first went to Zenobia when she was working across town at Brows. I think Brows has a lot of awesome folks, but I was always really happy with her especially and that she was so quick. I have sensitive skin that responds best to a few strips of wax and just a bit of touch up tweezing. If someone takes to long, not only do I get bored, but my skin gets irritated from too much tinkering. After reading so many great reviews on here, I had my brows threaded by Zenobia. After telling her that I do not want thin eyebrows, she started threading me. When I got a chance to look at my brows, I had penciled thin eyebrows that was too late to be fixed. She even clarified and told me that's how eyebrows should look like. WTF? What you read here and on her website is absolutely true-she's incredible. I had my first appointment with her yesterday. I was nervous-I've never let anyone else touch my eyebrows and more than once in the past I have butchered them myself. I explained this to her and she talked me through her process. I immediately felt that I could trust her and I'm glad I did. She was very thorough and even helped me with my makeup (another area in which I am completely lacking).
