It's not a 5 star salon - it's a 10 star for sure. I am taking time to write this review because it's well deserved and I'm just knocked out. And grateful. For those who haven't had laser or want to be sure if they're in good hands this is the place to go. The procedure I had has educated me on the advantages of laser treatment. I was impressed by Saejah, the manager of Allure Medical, when we first spoke by phone about treatments. There's a certain style of communication that's important to me. When I know I am not being sold anything but am simply getting all the information I need, I like it. There are people who don't give a damn about taking time. When I speak to someone who is engaged, intelligent and focused I feel far more comfortable about any purchase. Saejah gave me exactly that impression and much more. I felt totally confident right away about putting myself in her hands. She cares and she's as fussy about what she does as I am about anything being done to me. I am in my mid-60's and I would never have had treatment at all if I didn't trust the way she communicated. And laser sounded like something else. So although I was afraid of having it earlier (out of ignorance) age caught up with me. I read about it and I called Allure. The very second I walked in everything felt right. The ambience is lovely, the interior design is spacious, elegant and comfortable. It's easy to park outside. I'm also extremely observant. The following is a necessity yet still something that rarely stands out as it did here. It's also indicative of the quality of care given. It's meticulously clean. Even the staff coffee station stood out when I walked by - the clean ceramic mugs were nicely stacked and the counter was as clean and as neat as everything else I saw. The whole place literally gleamed. That's a gleaming I love to see. But here's the thing - the real 'real' thing. About 5 hours after I got the treatment I got home and looked in the mirror. I was stunned. And this is the truth - I saw my eyes bug out. That a procedure could make a difference so quickly is incredible. I had been told my face might look like it had coffee grounds. Saejah had told me I would be pink. I looked a teeny bit sunburned for the first 6 hours.That disappeared and there was never a coffee ground in sight. Not one teeny little dot. I also expected results would take weeks to appear. It blew me away (and still does) that I could clearly see the difference so quickly. My skin was shining. And the next day -no exaggeration at all - my face, my arms, hands and chest looked like they did many years ago. I didn't even remember my skin looked like that once, until I saw it. 15 minutes to look like this? I'm absolutely won over. The results are outstanding. I do know how nice it feels when you look your best. When I say this place is just right it means everybody - every client - would feel happy here. Along with this comes something very helpful- communication via text or returning calls is very fast. I love that. And you should see Saejah! If anything could tell me skin treatments would have worked years ago, it's her face. This morning I went for a facial with Nicole Munoz, an aesthetician at Allure Medical. Upon my arrival, my aesthetician was waiting at the front desk and greeted me with a warm smile and genuine "hello." I was pleasantly surprised at the convenient space just off of River and Campbell, tucked away from the traffic on River Road. It was beautifully decorated with nothing over stimulating. It smelled clean and in the downstairs bathroom it has some wonderfully scented hand cream that was totally tantalizing! From here, I was escorted up the stairs into a small but lovely waiting area where I was provided a clipboard, pen and patient information form. I did my best to quickly, but thoroughly, fill out the form because I was so excited to finally treat myself this holiday season. Nicole reviewed my information form and asked appropriate probing questions to gain a better understanding of where my skin had been and where it's at now. She than escorted me into her moderately sized room, instructed me to undress from the top down (at my own comfort level) and get underneath the blankets. She offered me another blanket and stepped out. She then knocked and I let her know I was ready to be pampered. She came back in and began the facial. I thought I would be getting just a basic facial that would cleanse my pores, extractions, exfoliates away dead skin cells, and treat some of common skin concerns instead, I received this plus a shoulder, upper back, hand, and arm massage coupled with an eye serum, lip scrub and an enzyme mask to help brighten my skin. It truly rejuvenated my face and I felt super pampered for just under $60 + a well deserved tip. It is now about an hour and half post-facial and my skin feels just perfect- not too moisturized and not too dry, just perfect. I recommend Nicole for your skincare needs. I purchased a Groupon for three treatments to try it out. I purchased a face neck, the owner charged extra for the treatment and said I was going to get a better treatment and ended up getting one time treatment for the neck. I had to remind her what I had purchased every time. She has short term memory. After the three treatment (which she only did one to the neck) I didn't notice any difference on the contrary my skin looks worse. Regret it and won't go there again. It turns out the promotion wasn't a scam and that allure medical is a great place for spa services. I had to wait 6 weeks to redeem my facial and peel so I would have docked a star BUT the aesthetician Andrea was thorough, gentle, explained everything, and customized the treatment based on my skincare goals. She also included shoulder neck and hand massage in the $40 price. I felt pampered and am considering signing up for a regular monthly membership. Upon entering her office I noticed it was very clean, had a lovely touch to it (decorations, furniture, scent). She had given me an amazing quote to remove many of my terrible mistakes. Whereas the quote I received for all of them would have been just for one tattoo elsewhere. She has an offer that is a "guaranteed price" which means that you may come til the ink is removed! Which is full payment rather than by each visit. Not sessions but til the ink is completely gone! She has all her licenses and certifications in her facility. Her tattoo removal room and laser skin care is very professional & a calming room. I had a horrible experience at Pima dermatology. They charged me an arm and a leg for a tattoo removal the size of a dime. And my skin is damaged! Blistered, scarred, uneven and you can still see the tattoo. They basically turned it white. This place is so worth it. Don't go anywhere else! You get more than what you pay for. It could be a lot for the work you want done. But it's something that will last forever.
