After moving to Tucson and looking for a local establishment for Botox, I walked in for a consultation at Skinjectables. I thought it would be crowded and I might have to wait, since it was a Friday but I was seen quickly. The facility is decorated with images of Marilyn Monroe and is very pretty, but the waiting area is heavily perfumed with air freshener or potpourri. I have a respiratory condition and I am uncomfortably sensitive to scents; I had to wait on the bench outside. My injector, Mayra, was young and has been doing this for only a year (I always ask because I inquire about their experience with the needles and the procedures.) She said she used to work for and was trained by a cosmetic surgeon. Despite her youth and relative inexperience, she was skilled in administering. Instead of Botox, Mayra suggested a similar neurotoxin product called Jeuveau, which is slightly more effective than Botox, and less expensive, because they were offering a special. I had it injected at both my 11s on the forehead and the crows feet near the eyes. I have not noticed a difference using neurotoxin around the eyes (twice elsewhere) before, but figured I'd try again, since it was a new facility and a new product. I have strong forehead muscles and I often need maximum units to get the desired result. I received 9 units at the crows feet near each eye, and 24 units on my forehead. It has been a week and I am pleased with the natural yet noticeable results. My eyes look more "open" and my forehead is improved. Mayra said if I can still significantly wrinkle my brows in 2 weeks to come back to touch it up. I might consider other skin care procedures here. read more

Skinjectibles is my primary place for aesthetics. The location is pretty easy to find but is inside the St Phillip's Plaza and upstairs. It is very nicely decorated and clean. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. The providers do a great job discussing what you are looking for and advising the cost prior to getting started. They do participate in Allē rewards as well. Keep an eye on the specials to save a little bit of money where you can as good skincare doesn't come cheap. read more

Birthdays, Christmas etc.... today I was turned away, because I would not give them MY phone number!! I'm not their customer, my daughters are, or I should say WERE. The absolute worst experience l've EVER had. I have had Botox and filler for many years with so many wonderful, talented and experienced injectors. Laura Owens was self absorbed, insulting and had terrible manners. She used me as a training guinea pig for one of her colleagues and was not sensitive to the fact that I was in pain. The appointment was exhausting and I felt like a research project. I paid good money for a professional, caring experience and felt completely abused when I left Skinjectibles. She repeatedly said, " I'm doing my best knowing I don't have enough product "to her trainee in reference to the fact that I "only" purchased 2 vials of filler at well over $1000 dollars. Tacky and classless. The front desk staff was equally rude. Skinjectibles used to be so great but their new restructure has turned them into a purely profit focused practice with little to no concern for their patients. | 100% do not recommend them. read more

If you like long wait times then you've come to the right spot. I've been coming here since they've opened, they've always advertised walk in appointments which is great but not so great for the customer who made an appointment. I've had good experiences until recently when I have to wait over an hour to be seen WITH an appointment on multiple occasions. I even walked in the hallways and was ignored after asking how much longer. I'm hardly given an apology and no return phone call from the owner explaining the situation and how they can make it better. This place has gone downhill and I unfortunately have to find a new Botox spot. Do better for yourself and steer clear. read more

I have been going to Skinjectables for 2 years now so you'd think I'd be considered a loyal client and that they value my business and well being correct??? Wrong. I visited Skinjectables for a petite and Botox in my forehead- not my first time getting filler BUT it was my first time getting Botox. Once I got home after a couple hours I got a terrible headache (I'm prone to migraines- reason for Botox) which I figured was normal and would pass. This pain was accompanied by some terrible nausea. By 2pm I had to tell my boyfriend to get off work early because I was throwing up so much and it lasted for about 4 hours. He called Skinjectables on his way home to me and all they said was "those symptoms have nothing to do with us because we are professionals but good luck" !!!!!! NOT JOKING. As a loyal client I'd at least expect some sympathy or a "hey don't worry this is uncommon but normal" or "maybe take her to the ER just in case" if it's not normal but they couldn't even say that. They wanted to cover their a**es instead. ON TOP OF THAT- going back to my visit I showed my injector I was misinformed by THEIR STAFF about pricing - I was told Bday pricing ended the day of my appt but it ended the Friday before that. Even after being asked to show the message and showing proof of being misinformed I still had to pay $100 more and it's not like I can just say no because your deposit is nonrefundable... I understand that Skinjectables is probably the best beauty bar in Tucson due to their skilled nurses but I wish they extended their skills into customer service and actually cared about their clients... after this terrible experience with customer service it completely overshadows a good experience with my injector. So I tried another place for Botox but it was far from my house. I gave Skinjectables one more try. Upfront my review is this: if you go and it goes well, you will be happy. But if you are NOT happy, they just don't care. Non-responsive by either phone or their on-line contact messaging. I was getting Botox and, despite me telling the tech (who told me she was new), that I knew how much I wanted, she talked me into more. That really wasn't the issue. The issue is for the first time in ALL my years of Botox, she must have injected too close to my eye and it started drooping about 10 days later. Now, thank goodness it isn't super noticeable but yeah, if you looked at my face for awhile, you'd notice. (I did look this up and most sites said it was operator error.) I used their online contact messaging to let them know. Zero response. I have now finally learned my lesson - never again. read more

Have been going to Skinjectables for Semaglutide since 3/15 and I've lost over 30lbs. They start with the lowest dose and work upwards as recommended to avoid troublesome side effects. I've had very few issues - some minor nausea the first night of the shot, and mild fatigue as the dose increased. I do exercise and have read on-line this helps dramatically with avoiding side effects. Make sure you drink enough liquids. You will need a blood test. I happened to have a recent one and that was acceptable so I was able to start right away. Everyone is super nice. I couldn't be happier with my results. read more

They have so many great specials. The staff is so friendly on the phone and in person. The front desk staff seems genuinely interested in making things run smoothly and are so welcoming. I'll never forget my first visit (pre-Covid). It was a week before my birthday and coincidentally, they were having a birthday as well! The office had tons of balloons, SO MUCH FOOD, sparkling wine, these intoxicating candles were lit, and everyone was happy and welcoming. I was so lucky to get Stacey as my injector, she was genuinely sweet, incredibly talented at her craft, and made sure I was comfortable and happy with my results. I truly felt as though she was just as excited for me as I was, being a first-timer. My face, the one that needed the touch-ups, has never looked better! I have received cosmetic injections a handful of times over the past 10 years. In fact, the 2nd time I ever received a cosmetic treatment, was here at Skinjectables, almost 6 years ago. I was impressed, then, by the level of professionalism and expertise I received from the office and of Katie. Luckily, from either good genes or a complete sense of delusion, I have felt that I did not need Botox or fillers that often. However, between attending nursing school FT, working FT nights at the hospital and averaging between two and five hours of sleep each night for the past two years, I have noticed that my face has aged about 10 years in just the past year! With Skinjectables Birthday Bash going on, I felt the need to jump on the specials and treat my face (as well as my withering self-esteem) to a few pokes of the needle. When I walked in to the office, I was immediately greeted with a smile, as the reception team checked me in. I filled out some paperwork in their comfortable chairs, as not having been in for 6 years would, of course, make me a new patient again. Almost immediately after returning the forms, I was greeted by Adrian, to accompany me back to the treatment area. The treatment area was just as luxurious and comforting as the reception area was. It definitely felt more like a spa at a high end resort, rather than a medical procedure room. Adrian addressed my concerns and asked me what my goals for treatment were today before going to get Katie. I was pleased by his warmth and friendly manner, as well as his knowledge about the procedures. I wasn't kept waiting for long before Katie arrived. (Although had I needed to wait, it would have felt more like a moment of relaxation, reclining on the plush lounge chaise, as opposed to any other cold, hard furniture of any other medical office) I explained to Katie what my goals were (to look a bit younger and not as tired and angry as I have been looking, lately). As far as the actual injections, I swear - I did not feel a thing! Well, maybe I felt the tiniest sensation with one of the pokes, but I would not even call it a "pinch." Before I knew it, my appointment was over. I was in and out in a flash, but not once did I feel hurried or rushed. I appreciate the experience of everyone in the office, as I had mentioned how little time I have, between work and school. I am really looking forward to seeing the result in the next few days, to weeks, as well as my next visit to the office. Oh! And I should not forget to mention the receptionist at checkout, also! She was great. She asked if I was a member of the Allē rewards program and even looked up my information to see if maybe I had signed up previously. Since I had not, she got me signed up with such speed, it really took maybe a minute at most. She didn't want me to miss out on the reward points for getting treatment. I really appreciated every employee that I came in contact with today. Even those that I never spoke to, greeted me with a smile. I will definitely return...much sooner than six years this time. I got my lips done by RN Stacy. I got the perfect plump. When I first saw them, they looked scary. I informed her that I didn't like it. I was told to wait till the swelling went down. Fair enough. It's been a little over a month and the swelling has gone down. But the skin outside of my mouth is still raised. She injected the stuff outside of my lip. Creating a round fake look. They look so fake. There is NO reason why there should be injection anywhere outside my lip. Have had to go to another place to get that part dissolved, still hasn't worked. Plus, I asked her to make my bottom lip bigger, she rudely said that that's what she does for all the lips. And yet my top lip is still bigger (and I also got more injection on my bottom lip at the other place). When I was at the other place (bespoke), the RN there told me that my initial injections were no where near where they were supposed to be. Not even in my bottom lip. Lastly, I checked there Instagram that day and they had posted a picture of me, without my consent. I am pretty sure I read the entire document that they had me sign and no where in it said they would do that. I don't use Yelp, this is my first review, probably my last. I don't recommend going to this place unless you want to look like you have cheap filler. read more

On April 16th I had a scheduled appointment (not a walk-in) which I made 3 weeks prior with a specific provider - Katie. Originally, I made my appointment at 2 pm but they kept sending reminders that it was at 1:45. When I called to clarify, they were unapologetic and insisted that Katie wouldn't be able to see me if I was late. On the day of the appointment, I showed up on time; I was greeted very poorly, they couldn't find my chart, my name was mistaken twice - one provider insisted I was scheduled with her and was rude about it while thinking I was a different person. It is shocking how long it took to sort it out. As the time went by, I mentioned to the front desk that they made it very clear that 1:45 was not negotiable, but here I was after 2 pm and still waiting... Finally (2:10 pm), another person picked me up to escort me to the treatment room, calling me a different name (again). When I corrected him, just to make sure he picked up the right person he dismissed me and said "Oh, it doesn't matter... don't let it ruin your Friday... Katie will see you shortly..." Well, it DOES matter knowing who the client is... just my own opinion. Katie never showed up, and after 35 minutes I decided to leave. The response from the front desk was simply "OK". Not even an ounce of effort to make it right. I called from the parking lot, asking for Katie (the owner) to call me back. They promised she would. Now, a week later, you can only imagine... crickets... Long story short... they are snobbish, rude, have grown so much in the past couple of years that they are too big to be bothered. Katie may be talented but, in my book, and where I come from customer service is a big part of the package. And, Katie, please don't use COVID as an excuse for your delays (as I read in some of your google responses). You have had a whole year to figure that out. You should plan accordingly when scheduling your appointments. read more
