The next day I got a call and asked the receptionist about it and she didn't even know what I was talking about. When I told WAS false advertising and that something should be done about it, it was taken very nonchalantly. Don't have this kind of a thing if you can't honor it. The second concern was that the Dr. took an x-ray of me and made the mistake of doing so, not paying attention to the fact I had emblems on my shirt. I had what you call a big scare where it appeared as though something was in front of my liver. I then called my PCP and told her what was happening. She sent me to get some x-rays, not a thing was wrong. This really pissed me off. PLEASE DOCTOR DON'T TAKE X-RAYS WHEN PEOPLE HAVE PICTURES ON THEIR SHIRT. What you are supposed to do is tell a person to wear a plain shirt. When I went for my x-rays at the hospital, they made me put a gown on looking at everything from the waist up. Jesus! this is definitely not cool. Other than that the Dr. was very cordial and nice.

I was sold a "package" of visits which is what I used for my first 3 weeks. When they tried to sell me the next package I decided to try somewhere else. My new chiropractor looked at the same set of x-rays and said my back was consistent with my age group. After my first visit with the new chiropractor, I'm feel better and standing up straight. This is not how I felt after any of my visits at Achieving Health.

She filled out the questionnaire and inquired about if her insurance was acceptable. They verified and approved the insurance and never mentioned the $179. 95 copay. When she arrived she was instructed to check in via online portal. She was having difficulty connecting to the wifi, but never informed that within a certain time if not checked in her appointment would be cancelled. She checked in and was then directed to pay, but the portal denied her payment twice. I put in my card and the portal denied the payment. My thought is the office had already canceled the appointment without saying anything. She was informed when she went to the reception window that to much time had passed and they would have to reschedule her appointment. There was a note next to the window that read, " online check in mandatory, unless you're paying with cash, and then they could check you in." The five staff members sitting behind the desk could have informed her about the cash payment option when she arrived and realized she was having trouble checking in. They could have informed her of the pending cancellation if not checked in within a certain time, but didn't. God knows they charge a $50 no show fee or last minute cancellation. She should have been informed of the $179.95 copay when they informed her of the acceptance of her insurance. This was very poor, unprofessional and rude behavior. She drove 40 minutes from her home to get to this practice and not be seen. They have lost a patient and a potential client. They are successful enough that they probably don't care, but I would hope that they read this review and make some significant adjustments to this check-in, pre appointment information and front desk behavior.

I wanted somebody closer to home and with years of experience. I made the appointment, read some reviews (all good) and met Dr. Rebock. Great personality, wonderful man, I knew I'd be in excellent hands. And it turns out, we have a mutual friend, another physician with whom he did his residency! Small world. Set up the surgery date with the front office, also excellent and friendly folks, and on June 25 went under the knife (open hernia repair). Too many people to name, but nurses, technicians, anesthesiologist, all were great pre and post op. I'm still on my way to recovery as this one was a mess, but next time I need surgery, and if it's within his realm, Dr. Rebock is where I'll go.

I am also the…read moretype of person that does not like surgery and worries due to not being in control; however, having gone to Dr. Rebock I assure you that you are in good hands. He came highly recommended by my family doctor and then when someone who works at Botsford, they too said he was awesome and a top notch doctor. I had inguinal hernia surgery. The appointments before hand were pretty quick. Parking was not an issue and he did a great job of calming my nerves about it. He told me all of my options and made recommendations on which one he would do based off of my concerns. The day after surgery I walked for a mile. The next week I was ahead of schedule and probably getting a little bit too far ahead of myself. I really pushed his work to the max and it held up perfectly. 2 months later I was playing baseball (which obviously relies on twisting the abdomen) and a year and a half later it has not reoccurred. He gives you a good time line as far as what to expect and when you can do certain activities.

Horrible experience at Unisource. I arrived with my elderly mother for a knee replacement. I had a…read morewell trained and very polite service dog with me. When checking in they said nothing about the dog being a problem. They took my mother back to prep her for her surgery. The RN Sandy then came and told me I needed to put my dog in the car so I could go see my mother. It was 80 degrees out so this was not going to be an option and not safe for my dog. As this would also be considered animal cruelty to bake my dog in the car. An 80 degree car parked in the sun turns into 123 degree. So I did not get to see my mother before surgery. After surgery Rn Sandy came out and told me to take my legitimate service dog home or again put her in the hot car. My mom and I both live over an hour away. So this was not an option. RN Sandy never asked me about my dog. According to ADA law they are allowed to ask me 2 question about my service dog. Rn Sandy never did this. Instead the RN that was taking care of my mother asked my confused elderly mother about my dog. This is against ADA law. The RN also asked what my reaction was to my allergen which is against HIPPA law. My reaction has nothing to do with me needing my service dog and is none of anyone's business. Since I was not allowed to go back to see my mother after her surgery I do not feel I was given adequate discharge instructions. Instead they gave my subpare instructions in the lobby in front of all the other family and at the back room of the building where the automatic door kept opening and closing and interrupting the instructions. My mom felt very alone and scared since I could not be by her side for comfort. So this facility doesn't know or follow ADA law for service dogs instead they are making up their own rules. Horrible experience. Rn Sandy was extremely rude and very unprofessional. She yelled at me in the lobby that my dog was not allowed back to see my mom and when I tried to explain the law she just walked away. Rn Sandy needs to be educated on ADA law for people with a disability. The entire staff walked by where I was sitting and gave dirty glares the entire time I was at the building. The only person nice to me and my mom was the physical therapist. I have reported them to the ADA and filed a complaint. Just to give some information on my dog she is an allergen detection dog, and she also retrieves dropped items, closes doors, and provides balance for me. She has had over 3 years of professional training.
