I found this place right next to my house. I came a few times and a guy did them and they looked so good! The last two times I had an older lady and she was so sweet but did an awful job. The brown gel did not even cover my entire nail and I left looking like it had been two weeks since my nails were done. The gel started chipping two days later and 7 days after having them done I went back for a refresh. -_- I figured my polish was really close to my skin color and that's why she forgot to paint half my nail, maybe she couldn't see. I came back, asking for dip and she did the same thing but this time I said can you fix that. The nails are so thick my fingers look funny. They're also extremely sloppy and wide. recently got my nails done here and overall staff was really friendly but my nails look a bit messed up, she didn't even cut my nails (i have gotten acrylics done before and they have always cut my nails) she didn't push my cuticles back... and didn't fill in my whole nail (is this a new thing they are doing) but overall i am disappointed. my nails look like they have been done two weeks ago even them i just got them YESTERDAY. she said she was really tired and has been very busy working long shifts so maybe that's why it's a bit sloppy? she did apologize if it wasn't her best work but still she could have put a bit more effort into it. the staff is very busy with prom season and etc and they where all very very friendly but i'm a bit disappointed. read more

Probably the worst nail salon I've ever been to. It was a bad experience from the moment we walked in. There were 4 or 5 people at the desk when we walked in, I stood right at the counter and no one even looked at me caught up in whatever. Minutes later finally someone starts talking to me, I had no idea, because none of them even looked up at me. I told him what color I wanted and it seemed like nobody wanted to wait on me or my sister. They finally decide amongst themselves and someone takes me and someone takes my sister. We both had probably the worst manicures we've ever had my nail tech pried my nails off in such a forceful way, and gave me such a sloppy acrylic set! Meanwhile, my sister had it worse than me. It was her nail techs last day apparently and she was just rude! She didn't even completely remove her last SNS set before putting the new color over it. And when she complained to the tech that she was filing kind of forcefully or that the color was still on her nail the tech basically responded saying "it is what it is and this is how I do it." Crazy. And then upon bringing it to the managers attention, we were met with the same apathy. I would give this zero stars if I could. We went to Ambiance the next day and got new sets. Skip this place and try them. This establishment does not understand customer service at all. I'm beyond disappointed. read more

Environment was clean and fresh. Plenty of color options and stCame in on a Wednesday around 1 for a lunch hour gel manicure. They had me back out the door by 1:40. $30 + tax and tip for a gel polish + manicure (no polish removal for me this time). Cuticles were pretty good (not bad, not the best, most importantly though- no cuts!). Nail shaping was very good. One of the worst nail experiences! I gave 1 star because the white toenails looked good. Took my teenage granddaughter here. Showed David the design she wanted and he assured us it could be done. I sat in front while she was getting her nails done. David apparently went to her while another guy was doing her nails and told her they could not do the design she wanted. The acrylics THEY put on her was cut too short to do the design she asked for. When finished 3 hours later, she truly did not like them and was disappointed in how they looked not to mention the nails on one hand is shorter than the other hand. The nails are wide and very thick. I called and asked for a refund so I could take her somewhere to get them fixed. He wanted me to bring her back there. I wasn't about to go sit for another 3 hours and have them butcher the nails again. A refund is all I need so we can go somewhere and professionally get them done. Not to mention David coughed and sneezed non stop while we were there. Save yourself disappointment and money. Go somewhere that does great work. I think the person doing her nails was practicing. This place is a hidden gem! We were visiting the area for my friends wedding. I almost didn't stop by because of the negative reviews. That would have definitely been a mistake. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the decor. Matter of fact, it's quite quaint and comfortable. The price list is clearly posted and they are extremely affordable. I went in not exactly sure of what I wanted, you'd think they would try to push me towards the most expensive items but that wasn't the case. Vivian was friendly, detailed oriented, and the overall quality of service was nothing shy of exceptional. They use OPI products, have all of the latest colors, they offer quality, and professional service. I would definitely recommend this location to friends. When you stop by be sure to tell "Bumble-Bee" hello. I've often found that people only comment when they have a negative experiences. I watched many happy customers come and go. I wish more would share their experience. Before you judge my nails let me tell you what they have been through... I paint furniture for a living. My nails are in contact DAILY with acrylic furniture paint, denatured alcohol, shellac primer, mineral spirits, oil stain, and to clean my hands and nails I scrub with a green kitchen scrubby. Allure Nail Spa did my nails in SNS. So given the circumstances and chemicals my nails have been through my nails don't look bad....and did I mention that my nails were done 3 weeks ago?!! I called to make an appointment and the man on the phone wouldn't tell me what times they had free. Insisted I needed to tell him a time first. He can't look at the planner and tell me what's open for the next afternoon? He told me it was fine to walk in because he has lots of people working. Well I called later and booked an appointment, but it didn't matter because when we came in they made us wait 45 minutes. Another girl came in after us and had an appointment and they were going to make her wait a long time too, but squeezed her in because she had a hair appointment afterward. I was taking my mother to the spa for Mother's Day, they kept trying to get us to not sit next to each other in the pedicure chairs. They wanted me to go before two chairs were open next to each other, but if I had I would have been all done before they even started on her. In Cincinnati for almost 2 weeks for a business trip. I Use shellac nail polish And usually do my own nails at home. However I need mine done and used yelp to find this establishment. I was in front of the store at 9 AM on the Saturday before Christmas. I was the first one in the store and she started working on my nails right away. It is a very nice shop. It has 8 pedicure chairs and at least 10 manicure stations. The technician was very friendly and knew exactly what to do. They use OPI products And had my color in the store which made me happy. Overall very happy with the service. She was very fast-did a great job. However when I went to pay it was $37. The few times I've done this in Tampa I paid no more than $20. Their website does not reflect the prices they charge. But I paid it gave her a nice tip and took it as a lesson learned. I should have asked at the beginning how much it was. She said it was five dollars just to remove the polish. I've never had a place charge me to remove polish. I would go back if I was in this town. I just would confirm the price before I sat in the chair. read more

I find it horribly sad that this place has such a low rating. This is right next to work and I go here all the time. I am not sure what 'Renee' is talking about that the place is old, they must have replaced everything since 2015 or switched owners because I would never consider the furniture worn. I have had my nails done by probably every single person who works there and all of them are amazing. My nails (shellac) always last at least 2 weeks and this is where I will be taking all of my bridesmaids and mom to get our nails done before my wedding. I am serious. I have been here many times but the last time I went the guy that did my nails was obviously not interested in working and more interested in watching whatever on his tablet. He cut me which caused me to bleed. I asked him to fix a nail he had just completed and started arguing with me about it being my fault. He fixed it but started speaking Vietnamese to the other workers obviously complaining about me-- very rude. Won't be going back. read more

I had been going to Allure for a couple of years with great success, but recently they've simply not kept the place up, nor the customer service going. I will not go back again anytime soon. The past occasion I stopped in for a pedicure the customer service and greeting was mediocre, the pedicure VERY rough (cut and bled me more than once), instead of proper hygiene/sanitation of foot basins they simply line them now with a baggie that the customer has to pay a dollar for, and the overall salon just reeked of chemicals and a noticeable lack of ventilation. My feet and hands are an important part of my health, and this place needs a full overhaul. read more

If only there were a negative stars option...bought a gift card for my sister in law. When she tried to use it, they wouldn't accept it because it didn't match their current gift card paper.
