I really enjoyed coming to this salon however this weekend experienced something different. My husband came with me and also for a pedicure. The next day his big toe was infected (red & crusty). The redness spread to his legs the following day. I called to tell the owner and after speaking with him and also sending photos I was told well that's a blister (it most definitely is not). He asked what I wanted him to do about it, typically when a business has done something negative to a customer they will offer X% off their next service or financial reimbursement. The owner was not interested in that. Take this as a warning that although this salon's prices are lower than others you will also be exposing yourself to the possibility of an infection. read more

I found Truli You Nails after a bad experience with my previous nail salon after they damaged the integrity of my nails. Want to give the benefit of a doubt, however, the previous nail salon employees were in a rush and used their rotary sander too long on the bed of both my thumb nails. I pulled away in pain and will never go back. Truli You Nails was my saving grace! With my niece's wedding coming up, I needed to find a nail salon where the employees know what they do and do it well. I needed some place where the nail technicians would not be rushed and not damage my nails or cuticles (slight case of PTSD). I LOVE this salon and am very happy with their work. I love Truli You! I was referred here some months ago by a friend. She had been going to Jack for awhile. I was looking for somewhere else to go and I asked her where she went. She told me Truli You. I made an appointment and haven't look back. I enjoy coming to Jack. He is so easy to work with. I text him and make an appointment and then show up. Lol! Really easy. He does my nails and his wife does my toes. I love the way his wife shapes my toes nails and he shapes my nails. I am very picky about my shape so I enjoy coming here. I also like Jack because he can do designs within reason. Lol. He's good for simple designs which is what I get. My last shop could hardly do any designs and I didn't like that. I don't get designs every time. It just depends on what mood I'm in. I also like that they have a broad color selection at this shop as well. The customer service here is amazing. I don't have anything to complain about. However, if I did, I would just make my issue known to Jack and he would take care of it. Easy to book, not very busy and takes walk ins. I had a nice pedicure but my manicure was just ok. She missed the tips so they almost immediately started chipping and she cut my cuticles back way too aggressively so now they're peeling. They did acrylic tips for my niece and they looked great though. The shop is pleasant and clean, good for a mani pedi just not a high level of attention on the manicure if you're particular. read more

Just moved to this side of town, needed to try a new nail salon. This one is close, had good reviews. Just finished with a black gel "basic pedicure" and I'm disappointed. I get pedis every six weeks. I've never had them soak off gel with acetone/foil, that was strange and made my feet very cold. She was extremely, uh, thorough with cuticles/hang nails but she really hurt me and made me bleed, that never happens. She took a long time doing the gel, which I can appreciate, but now that I'm home and looking at it, it looks very messy up close. After she was done with the gel she asked me to submerge my feet back in the water, which I know you're not supposed to do for several hours because it can make the gel lift. She then did the sugar scrub/hot towels after the fact. Very strange experience, very weird order of operations. Price posted on website is $32 for a basic pedicure and the $20 for gel upgrade. They have a sign posted for a 5% discount if you pay cash. She quoted me $53 which doesn't add up but I just paid it. I'll definitely be checking out other nail salons in the area. read more

I called ahead and got an appointment for 5:30 for me and my boyfriend to get a pedicure. They were busy but super on top of everything. I've been to other salons and it's been a hit or miss depending upon the technician in regards to the gel polish lasting the duration of two or three weeks. I've been to Truli You for three visits so far and the gel has lasted at least two weeks. I do tend to wash my hands several times a day. Despite, the Truli You gel application has lasted at least two weeks. I signed up online to get a maicure and nails dipped -I had read lots of reviews and specifically signed up for an appointment with the person that had the best reviews. I got there and my manicure was not done by the person that I signed up with -in fact the person who did my manicure never told me her name (I had signed up with a man). I got a manicure and nails dipped on a Saturday. When using the drill two different fingers were cut during the manicure. The following Wednesday (only 4 days of having on the dipping powder) two of the nails came off and I went back in. They fixed the two nails at no charge -but they put on a slightly darker color, so it didn't match my other nails. Today (6 days after getting the nails dipped) another nail came off. I was told that the manicure would last at least two weeks. I am so very disappointed as it didn't even last a week! The other thing that I found disturbing is that when I entered the salon they did not have me wash my hands before starting the manicure and then they dipped my fingers right in the dipping powder. Which means that if others didn't wash their hands first there is a whole germ pool happening in the dipping powder. Very, very disappointed. I would not recommend this nail salon-huge bummer. read more

I have tried 4 different salons since moving to the area and Truli You is the best. Jack and Kelly are very kind and attentive, and I appreciated how they checked throughout the pedicure if it was what I liked. My pedicure looked awesome and felt great. It was very, very clean and I appreciated the extra precautions they take with COVID to keep everyone safe. I also loved that there was no rush.
