I have used Allure a few years ago, and they did great work back then. I stopped using them for a while to try some other plumbers, but these plumbers' prices had risen dramatically over the last 3 years, so I decided to give Allure a call again. I found out that Allure was under new ownership with Anthony taking over for James, the original owner. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I gave them a call. I had installed a bidet to the basement toilet, but I must have messed up the connections, as there was a leak. After fiddling some more, I think I messed up the toilet fill valve and the seal to the piping. After this, I said to myself, I need to get some professionals here. I bought a new toilet fill valve for the plumbers to install. Allure charges based on job, not by hour. They gave me a quote that was very competitive and lower than other plumbers I contacted. Binny, the lead plumber, and Brannen were the two staff that arrived on time. They vacuumed the floor by the toilet and in the tank to drain it completely of water. Then, Binny installed the new toilet fill valve and tightened all the fittings of the bidet and fill valve. They even installed a new flapper for the handle. The work was finished and tested in 30 minutes. Despite the change in ownership, I'm glad that the legacy of quality of service and pricing of Allure Plumbing lives on. Still recommended! read more

After having issues with my steam water boiler for years I decided on finally having my boiler serviced to get ready for Jerseys wonderful bitter winter - but finding a great HONEST plummer is difficult - for the need for service often leaves you vulnerable Came across Allure plumbing and they were very responsive, detailed oriented and came and serviced my boiler quickly - and most importantly my steam radiators are running smoothly and warm. There was no upfront charges, analysis fees - which i always never go with companies that do that as I don't want to be tied down to quotes. When I inquired to Anthoney about a digital water timer I was told why change something when it's not broken, which is true and more so showed his honesty. We completed a major renovation with Jim as a major part. He replaced all our plumbing throughout the house. We renovating two bathrooms and two kitchens. He removed all waste and water lines and replaced them with pvc and copper. He also installed a new high efficiency boiler that we love, replacing the former forced air system with hot water base board heat. He got particularly excited about working on heat. This was a huge project and with that came challenges, frustration, and obstacles. Jim was a stand up guy throughout. He is honest and is a family man. He is super responsive to any issues. Allure Plumbing saves the day again! I have called Allure in the past and dealt with Jim the owner again. I had water coming through my kitchen ceiling from the bathroom upstairs and had no idea why. I recently used Allure to install a tankless water heater. The job was done well, and everything was left clean. I had a few plumbers take a look and offer their opinion on how to best install things. While Allure didn't have the cheapest quote, it was competitive, and I have no doubt that I made the right choice. My laundry sink was clogged and would overflow whenever my washing machine went through the rinse cycle. I called Allure based on the positive reviews from Yelp (and the fact that they were just one town over. Jim answered on this cell phone and I was able to make an appointment for the very next morning. The plumber (David) arrived ahead of schedule and waited in the van. I asked him in the house and he was able to clear the drain with a snake/auger in 10 minutes. The whole experience was professional and painless. The cost was reasonable as well. Our furnace went out during a cold spell, and the plumber that installed it wouldn't return our calls for 3 days. I saw the great reviews on Yelp for Allure Plumbing, and called them first as they were close by to our home. Jim answered promptly, and after hearing our problem, came over right away. The owner, James, answers right away. He either comes as soon as possible or sends one of his employees. Both times I've had a plumbing emergency, he or an employee came out within a couple hours! I'm impressed by that. Recently had a corroded pipe repaired and some leaky faucets replaced. Took a few hours and was only a couple hundred dollars. I was expecting a lot more for how long and how hard the employee worked. He cleaned up after himself and was always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. read more

Yesterday we woke up to a cold house. The pilot light was not lit and I tried to re-light it by following the instructions on the side of the furnace which did not work. Jim, from Allure, came out to diagnose the problem. Turns out I didnt wait long enough between turning the control switch off to restarting. All he did was turn the control switch on and turn the electrical back on and poof, the furnace was working. He was very nice and didnt charge us for his visit!
