I strongly recommend avoiding Dr Drip Plumbing. I hired them to replace a kitchen faucet and two shutoff valves in a rental property--a straightforward job. Two plumbers arrived on time but initially quoted an unreasonable $1,300. After I challenged the price, they lowered it to $300, with me supplying the faucet and valves. Unfortunately, the workmanship was unacceptable. They argued against installing sweat valves, then performed a poor solder job that leaked. The compression valve was installed incorrectly, blew off when the water was turned back on, and flooded the cabinet and kitchen floor. They had nothing to clean up the water, so I had to do it myself. Things only got worse. They incorrectly installed the faucet sprayer, breaking both the faucet and sprayer. One plumber said he would go to Home Depot to get a replacement but returned much later with only an incorrect replacement sprayer in the wrong finish. When I said I would go get the correct faucet myself, he claimed Home Depot didn't have it in stock. I knew that wasn't true because I had purchased the faucet there earlier that same day. It became clear he had not done what he said he would do. After hearing what had happened, the owner, Nick pulled the crew off the job and sent another plumber, who fixed the valve issues in about 20 minutes--proof that the original work should have been done correctly from the start. By then, I had spent over five hours on-site, missed lunch and dinner, cleaned up their flooding, and even installed the replacement faucet myself to prevent it from being damaged again. Nick's response was the most disappointing part of the entire experience. Instead of apologizing for the repeated mistakes, he demanded full payment, threatened to place a lien on my property, report me, and even call the police. He repeatedly called me a "thief" for questioning whether I should pay in full after such poor service. I ultimately paid because I felt intimidated by his threats, not because I believed the work deserved it. The company prominently markets itself as a veteran-owned business, which led me to expect professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. Rather than taking responsibility for his employees' mistakes, Nick responded with intimidation, accusations, and threats. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warranted one. Mistakes happen, but how a company responds matters. Between the poor workmanship, wasted time, property damage, apparent dishonesty, and Nick's hostile and threatening behavior, this was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Unprofessional, and dishonest. Avoid at all costs. The owner, Nick Lepinski, will also harass you via text and phone until you are forced to file a police report. They forgot the schedule me for the promised start date of my project, then delayed it another week because the contractor who was supposed to do the job was undergoing cancer treatment (!). Then they pressured him to work the following week. I filed a complaint about Dr. Drip's dishonesty and failure to deliver what was promised in the contract with NJ Consumer Affairs. I will also file one (with photos of what was promised versus what was actually done) in Civil Court. They wanted to charge me over $8000 for a subfloor replacement and tiles/new toilet that I never received. My own plumber saw the work and said not to call them back. He completed the job and now Nick Lepinski wants to sue me because I took my business to a competent professional who, unlike him, does not harass people or lie. Read the lowest reviews on Google and here, and avoid at all costs because those experiences are genuinely what you get when you call Dr. Drip. read more

Let me start by saying that this is a REAL family owned business. Unlike many of the HVAC repair businesses, when you call Dr Drip, you are 100% sure that the people you called are the people that will be showing up. The other day I had an emergency on a hot day when most hvac business would be hard to book. I called Dr Drip and spoke to Nick. I poured my heart out about my emergency and I could tell that his concern for me and my family was genuine, because despite his busy schedule, he was at my door in an hour!! After assessing my situation, he presented me with serveral "repair or replace" options, ALL of which were very reasonably priced and some competitive warranty info. After asking a bajillion questions, I decided to replace the entire unit. Realizing there were chjldren jn the house, he decided to make the job a priority and get to work immediately! He immediately got the necessary parts and was back at my house within 90 minutes with a crew and got started. Now I just have to say, I don't know much about hvac, but Nick and his entire crew were extremely helpful and Informative when it came to answering my questions and making sure I knew what was going on. I especially enjoyed speaking with Jordan and Josh, even though Jordan was a Mets fan, we won't hold that against him. In a few hours time, the job was complete and my new hot water heater was completely installed!!! The fact that I was able to get such a quality crew on such short notice is amazing.
