Don't believe me, look up their class action lawsuit because they jack up their prices to ensure you meet your detectable. That being said, I am sooooo glad I found glass doctor. They took great care of my car, repaired it quickly, and appropriately without charging me an arm and a leg. The staff were very friendly and informative. Overall, I am super pleased with my windshield & will continue coming here should my needs require it.

I had a number of fogged windows and sliding glass doors. I was disappointed the Glass Doctor used…read moreblack caulk as opposed to neoprene or other gaskets. The choice of the caulk was very runny and it ran out, gravity pulling it downwards. As a result I have 2 sliding glass doors that formerly were able to slide, but now, due the caulk oozing down to the track, they are immoveable. They offered to put in new rollers and a new track for $900 each. That seems to me to be what a new sliding door would cost. Also, the technician got the black caulk on the carpet in the master bedroom, and on a window sill. He was able to get up some of the caulk from the carpet, but it doesn't look like before.

They reference a "John" in their reviews. There is no John. From the beginning, the owner, "Ethan", was hard to reach. After booking an estimate, he rescheduled, then arrived late. I should have known better, but I stayed with him. He came out and measured and told me he would send me an estimate. I had to remind him several times for the estimate. When I finally got the estimate, I accepted it. But then he went dark for weeks without responding. I called him, emailed him, and texted him. It took many days and sometimes weeks for him to reply to any of my attempts to contact him. Just as I was going to choose someone else (wish I would have), he responded. Seemed like a nice guy so I agreed to let him do the job which was to install glass shower walls and sliding shower doors in 2 bathrooms and install new hardware in a third. Over $5,000 worth of work. As I should have expected, the installation was delayed over and over. Once his crew arrived for the installation, they didn't have all the parts. After installation was complete, ALL THREE showers leaked profusely, from the caulked areas and from the seals on the bottom. I'm talking about water reaching 3 to 4 feet into the bathroom floor. This is after I let the installation sit a day longer than he recommended just to make sure everything dried. I called him for repair and told him not to send his installers as they failed on all 3 showers - clearly, they didn't know what they were doing. I demanded he come out himself. Once again, his arrival was delayed time and again. It took him many days to respond to each of my contacts. He finally came out to do the repair, but I could tell he was struggling. One of the pieces he installed he broke during installation and said he would come out again to replace it but in the meantime it should still stop the leaking water. After the repair, guess what... ALL THREE showers still leaked. I contacted him again. As usual his responses were horribly delayed. When he finally contacted me back, he "guaranteed" me he would come out "ASAP" and take care of this. Two weeks went by with no follow up from him. Finally I let Amazon fix this for me. Did some research, bought some parts, and had to reinstall the sliding glass doors. But I fixed all 3 showers. No more leaks. I texted him that I had taken care of the problem by myself. You would think he'd be ashamed, instead guess what... no response... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY whether you are a homeowner or a Contactor.

Although we took a huge chunk of the remaining table top the one they made was about 1/4 inch too thick and 1/4 not wide enough. It's not the same fit and so I have issues putting the same items on top. They were nice and fast but, it's not the same and it's disappointing bc we took a 6x8 or so size with both width and height as well as depth for accuracy.

We used them (via our contractor) to install the glass walls and door for a new master shower. We've had to call them back out at least THREE times to address leaks. Either their installers were in a rush, truly had no idea what they're doing, or don't care- or perhaps a combo of the three. Either way, I'd suggest not working with them.

We called their office repeatedly and got no response. When we finally got through, they told us directly they have no intention of changing this practice. Their reasoning: keeping the vehicle at the driver's house lets him respond to emergencies faster than if he had to pick it up from the company lot first. So a residential street is being used as a permanent parking spot for their commercial equipment, for their own convenience -- with zero willingness to work with the neighborhood on it. If you're choosing a glass company, know that this is how they treat the neighbors of their own employees.

We called around in Hampton, landed with Patrick's Glass, who didn't "have the time to come out and look." So, we took down what we knew to write, the broken part and brought it to the shop. The shop person had a part on his desk that looked very much like the part we needed but explained that they would need to come out to look at the issue. "We don't have the time to come out." He referred us to a handyman he knew; whom we called who did come out. Carter Britton, the person, came out and never followed up. We called him multiple times, either no answer or ignored. Now, a year plus later, the window issue is not resolved, and it is getting cold. We need this window to work, and it looks like we need it replaced. We will not entertain the idea of Patrick's Glass any longer for the disappointing experience with his business. We can't even get a ballpark figure for the repair or replacement, as it requires someone to inspect and do the work. We are still looking and again starting fresh. No recommendation for this business, we are not recommending the business and sure will never call them again.
