Mr. Eric Fox was our Sales representative. He arrived on time, had an ID, introduced himself. His Sales presentation was excellent and was a credit to this company. He was courteous, complete, knowledgeable and gained our interest. He impressed us, stepped outside to give us time to decide. ( I don't like pushey Salesmen ). We invited him back in and proceeded to make the purchase. The crew led by Mikey, Ivan and Arrow arrived on time. They began to remove the front complete front door in closure and one did the same to the Kitchen Window. The men arrived on time, producing ID, introduction and worked diligently. In a reasonable amount of time for such a large job. When finished, carted all my debris away as well as cleaned the area. The new addition to our home made the Wife very happy . I found out about Thompson Creek Window Company through a mailer that I received in January 2020…read more I was already in the process of looking to replace the windows at my home since I could feel the cold air coming in from outside during the winter. They were long overdue to be replaced. After contacting them at the number on the flyer, they scheduled an in person appointment to go over the product and pricing. This appointment was at the end of January, before the Covid pandemic began. The factory consultant that came for this visit was Danya Rosales. The beginning of the consultation was fairly standard. She asked about what we were looking to do, what type of budget, etc. The focus would be totally on windows. She would then take initial measurements for the windows in the house. There were only 8 windows. Next, we learned more about their window product. They only have one kind of window, so you don't have to look through all different kinds to choose one. We would watch a short video about the company while she went out to bring in one of their windows. The window that they have was actually a pretty good window, with some security features in it as well. After looking over the window and being able to test it out, it would be time for the sales pitch. There would be talk about comparisons between windows from them and other places. Their windows are manufactured in their own warehouse and comes with a 50 year warranty, even for the screens too. The initial cost that is given is their one year price guarantee, but it will likely not be the lowest price overall. After going back and forth for a while in negotiations and trying to have the best rate possible, I was able to get it for about 35% less than the original quote. They offer financing options through GreenSky. In this process, I never felt pressured to have to purchase anything. In the following week or so, they would bring someone out to the actual measurements since all is custom made at their factory. Fast forward to the end of February. On the last week of February, it was time for the window replacement to take place. The project manager, as well as the ones doing the window replacement arrived around 8 am as expected. The installers really well with having ground coverings and keeping things clean inside the house when taking out the old windows and putting in the new ones. I think one of the installers was new to doing windows just based on what I observed. In general, they did a pretty good job with the windows. They went overboard though with the caulk. They finished the project around 3 pm that afternoon. After everything was done, we did look back over everything over the following few days. The biggest thing was the sloppy job with overuse of caulk. I did let the company know. They would send another team out in April to fix the issues. The only after issue that I had after the the initial work was done had to do with payment. I originally pre-qualified for the GreenSky credit, but I ended up going another route with a zero interest offer. However, that same day, even after talking with the project coordinator, Amanda Esteme, they charged the GreenSky account. This was not Amanda's fault. With having some issues still left to resolve at the time, she said don't worry about payment until that part is done. However, their finance department held the GreenSky account hostage with the payment until they were paid in an alternate way. I had to do a formal dispute with GreenSky as well due to this. I feel like in this scenario, the finance department didn't care about me as a customer; all they wanted was the money regardless. They made me feel like I was trying to stiff them on the payment, which was not the case at all. It did get all sorted out in the end, but it almost lost my ability for the zero interest offer I had elsewhere because of putting the charge on the GreenSky account. The overall experience with Thompson Creek was great. The windows are still working well today and haven't had any issues to contend with them. The finance department issue is the only reason they didn't get a full 5 stars. I would still recommend checking them out if you are in the market for windows.

Thompson Creek: An Extremely Frustrating Experience…read more I cannot recommend Thompson Creek based on my experience. What should have been a straightforward home-improvement project has turned into one of the most frustrating customer-service experiences I have ever had. The problems started before installation. The original sales presentation significantly misrepresented how much daylight would be lost with the proposed doors. Thankfully, the pre-construction technician caught the problem and acknowledged that approximately 10 inches of daylight would be lost per door, requiring us to change the design to sliding doors. Then came the installation. Thompson Creek simply didn't show up. I was told the crew would arrive at 8:00 AM. I took an entire day off work and waited. I called, emailed, and left messages throughout the morning. I received no meaningful communication until approximately 3:00 PM, when I was finally told they probably weren't coming. An entire day of my leave was wasted. When the installation finally occurred, the workmanship was unacceptable. I found missing caulk, sloppy caulk work with obvious gaps, misaligned and poorly fitted trim, missing components, and a broken door panel. One door was also so loud that the installers apparently removed a piece of hardware that was rubbing against the track. I was also sold a dog door that was represented as having a fob that would unlock the door when my dog approached it. I subsequently learned that ProVia doesn't offer that functionality. The pet door does not have a fob. Getting these problems corrected has been just as frustrating. I had a replacement panel appointment scheduled and confirmed, rearranged my work schedule, and took time off--only for Thompson Creek to cancel two days beforehand. At the next appointment, the contractor arrived with the wrong replacement panel, so the work couldn't be completed. He also identified additional installation problems, including missing trim and other components. Most recently, I had yet another appointment confirmed to address the broken panel, poor caulking, misfit trim, misaligned door, and missing components. I confirmed the appointment and submitted leave paperwork through my chain of command. Thompson Creek cancelled again on the day of the appointment because of weather--despite there being no rain and the work including interior trim, caulking, and replacing a broken panel. At this point, I have burned an entire work week's worth of military leave dealing with Thompson Creek's failures. I am active-duty military, so leave is not unlimited. Every day I've taken off for these appointments is a day I cannot spend with my family. This is particularly frustrating with my wife's pending deployment. After all of this, Thompson Creek offered me $150 in compensation. I found that offer insulting given the amount of time lost and the repeated failures to complete the job. I have also had difficulty getting a consistent answer about my remaining balance because Thompson Creek has two separate invoices for the same project and apparently cannot consistently reconcile them. I don't expect every home-improvement project to go perfectly. Problems happen. What I expect is for a company to take responsibility when things go wrong and make a genuine effort to fix them. That has not been my experience with Thompson Creek. If you are considering using Thompson Creek, do your homework and ask very specific questions about installation, scheduling, warranty work, and what happens when something goes wrong. My experience has been an extraordinary amount of time, frustration, and wasted leave for a project that still isn't satisfactorily completed.

This experience turned into an absolute nightmare. They carelessly nailed through my air…read moreconditioning line REPEATEDLY (see photo). This mistake caused major damage and left me without AC -- not only an inconvenience but a massive, unexpected expense to repair. When the problem was diagnosed, I contacted Atlantic Craftsman to see if they would help cover a portion of the cost. I would not only need to repair the line they destroyed, but I would also need to have part of my roof taken off to access the pipe. They emailed me back saying that I was on my own and that they wouldn't cover ANY of the repairs. What's worse, the company showed little accountability. They didn't even acknowledge that they made a mistake or say sorry for the problems they caused me. I reached out again asking if they could at least provide me with some extra shingles since I would need to remove a portion of them to repair the pipe. They never responded to my emails or phone calls. The team on site also destroyed my plants and left nails everywhere (resulting in a popped car tire). If you're considering hiring them, beware. Their negligence ended up punishing me more than them.

I don't think many of us plan for a roof replacement. I wasn't planning on having to have my roof…read morereplaced this year. I had someone come out as I was looking at having gutters replaced. The one I talked to about gutters showed me photos and some of the shingles had a hole in them and said I should have a roof inspection conducted. After that, I turned to Yelp to look for companies to have a roof inspection completed. There were several to choose from, and I had a few come out to look at the roof. Inspectors from two different companies were supposed to come out the following day. The first one was a no show, but Cleus Staple from Revamp Exteriors came out at the scheduled time. This visit occurred on July 13, 2025. We stated outside to look over the roof. He was thorough in checking out the roof. He confirmed the same thing the gutter representative told me. He also went into more detail and showed dips and such in the shingles too. We came inside and he went up into the attic to check out the roof from that angle. Apparently, some of the drilling for the solar panels I had gotten a few years back made a hole into the attic from the drilling of the solar panels. After that, we sat down so he could go over the product that would be used for rebuilding the roof, as well as changes in the building codes as the roof that was currently on there was over 20 years old. The old shingles were a three-layer design, while the newer version is a five-layer design. There was a waterproofing barrier as a part of it, as well as the roof would be resistant up to 130 mph winds too. He was able to answer every question I had asked, and he was up front and honest about everything. After going through everything, and based on this experience, I decided to pull the trigger and go with them to do the roof replacement. We got to choose from a variety of colors too. They do have financing available through Service Finance Company. They did tell me that it would be over a three-day period. The first day would be getting the solar panels down in preparation for install. The second day was the roof install, and the final day was getting the solar panels back up and running. After getting things settled, the roof replacement was scheduled to begin on July 23, 2025. A few days later, they were able to move up the start date to July 22nd due to better weather conditions. The first day was pretty easy. It was just getting the solar panels down. All of the solar panel work was done by Solar Unlimited. The next day was getting the new roof installed. It was a noisy day, but it really didn't affect me working from home as usual. I did come out a few times to see how things were going, and I was glad I was not the one doing it. It looked really good after everything was completed. It took about 9-10 hours total. The following day, Solar Unlimited came back to re-install the solar panels. The morning after the solar panels were put back up, John from Revamp Exteriors came over to do a final inspection after everything was completed. There were no issues, and he shared those pictures with me, which he said I can use them. Overall, this was an excellent experience with Revamp Exteriors. They were quick to respond to all my questions, and they were able to give me everything I need to submit for a homeowner's insurance discount for a new roof date. Although the cost can shock you, it will be great in the long run since it's considered a 50-year roof. In the future, I may need to look at having the vinyl siding replaced at a later time, and I will definitely turn here first when that time comes. If you are looking at having some home renovations completed, you need to give Revamp Exteriors a call. You won't regret it.
