My wife and I recently hired Progress Kitchen and Bath for a full master bathroom renovation in our…read morethree-story condo, which included a full Schluter waterproofing system, floor-to-ceiling porcelain tiles, and a new double vanity. While we are absolutely thrilled with the final look, there were a few minor bumps along the way that kept it from being a perfect 5-star experience. Here is the breakdown of our project: Design & Prep with Helen Huff Helen was fantastic from day one. We brought her inspiration photos of the aesthetic we were going for, and she immediately pulled porcelain tiles that perfectly matched and refined our vision. She offered creative layout solutions for the double vanity, the shower, and the niche. Throughout the material selection process, she was patient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable, even providing us with websites to browse on our own time. A massive bonus: Helen went above and beyond to ensure I had all the specific documentation my insurance company needed to process a related claim. Project Management with Justin Bici Justin was a stellar project manager. We were initially quoted 15-25 business days, but the team finished ahead of schedule in just 10 business days. Justin visited the site almost every day to ensure the job was on track, and he was incredibly responsive to all of my texts and calls. Every timeline he provided was met exactly as promised, and he offered a lot of great insight based on his experience. Even when the vanity sub-contractors did a mediocre job on the caulking, Justin informed me he would remediate the issue and would schedule someone to come out and fix it. Albert & the Crew & Technical Execution The technical execution of the shower itself is top-notch. The crew manager Albert clearly had years of experience and knew exactly how to handle and properly install the Schluter waterproofing system. The precision of the porcelain installation is beautiful--the cuts and edges are incredibly clean and precise. Seeing that floor-to-ceiling tile go up and the double vanity finally set in place was easily the absolute best moment of the project! Areas for Improvement (Why 4 Stars) Because our master suite is on the third floor, the crew stored their materials in our bedroom. While this made logical sense so they didn't have to carry things up and down the stairs constantly, we wish they had been more cautious. Unfortunately, we found a couple of chips in my wife's makeup vanity from materials being moved in and out of the room. Additionally, the post-renovation cleanup was lacking. We expected the floors to be restored to their pre-renovation condition, but we found scuffs on the floor that couldn't easily be removed with regular soap and water. The Verdict Helen, Justin, Albert and the tile crew delivered a beautiful, high-end bathroom. The design, project management, and tile expertise were exceptional. If the crew had been just a bit more careful with our personal furniture and the final site cleanup, this would be an easy 5 stars. I still highly recommend Progress Kitchen and Bath.

Great Service! Best desicion ever to invest. Trust the process. We love the end results. Thank you…read moreso much Justin , our project Manager. Always approachable with any questions you may have! On point with everything. Shout out to Jacky for getting us started, helping us to select the materials.

Please heed my warning. Working with this contractor has been the most stressful and frustrating…read more Simple things such as common courtesy went out the window. On numerous occasions I was told that workers would be coming to do work and never show. I asked on several occasions for a simple text letting me know they wouldn't be coming. But to no avail. The owner left everything to just one worker, who needed assistance, tools and basic materials that should be standard, but I had to supply. I also provided assistance. The owner also only showed up when I told him I would give him money. Could not pay in accordance to the contract because his only worker was threatening to quit due to non payment. Since this worker was the only one doing anything. I couldn't afford to loose him. The work was supposed to be completed by 04 May and they didn't even start until 05 May and I had to reschedule the realty photographer 4 times because the house was not done and ready. Was constantly told my work could be done in a few days, but took over 5 weeks and still things weren't completed. He charged me for things they said they would do and did not specify they would charge for it until I got the final bill. If I would have been told I would be charged, I would have done the work myself. Everything I paid them for, I could have done on my own and done faster and better quality. But I'm the customer and had to work harder than the contractor. Please be careful with this owner, he pulled a typical contractor trick by taking all my kitchen cabinet doors and drawer and told me they were being finished finding out til the end that they hadn't even been touched. Holding on to those items prevented me from firing them because it could have cost me a lot to replace them. I can go on and on, but I think you get the idea. Beware of this contractor.

We called in an attempt to resolve an issue that was annotated in the home inspection but, the representative wanted to argue and ensured their work was done properly. It wasn't. Representatives did not even offer to come to our residence to assess the situation. We are not SME's. This is why we call the experts! Just today we had pest control over for an assessment in the attic. The picture depicts the exact area of the roof where the Dr. House stated they did all repairs to contract specs. This damage did not occur from us residing in the home after 2 months. The pest control company lifted the shingles to find this and water damage and corrossion underneath and in our attack. We'll reaching out to our realtor for guidance on further action against Dr. House. Would not recommend unless a resolution was met or a different course of action.

TL;DR: Happy with our experience…read more I'm always nervous about projects around the house and the people we hire to do the projects. My husband and I met with a few different bathroom remodeling companies to change out our uneven shower stall that pooled a lot of water to the side of the shower and therefore didn't drain. We decided to go with Rodney at Full Circle Kitchen & Bath. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate for the same day that we called him. When he arrived, he gave us a flat base price for the shower stall and the labor, and then told us how much the extra shelving, seat, and grab bar we wanted would cost on top of the base price. Once we called Rodney to tell him we wanted to move forward with the project, he sent us a contract to review via email within about a day. After we reviewed the contract and agreed to it, he visited our house again to sign the contract, collect the downpayment for supplies and re-measure the shower stall. Rodney uses Sentrel products for the showers he installs including the showers he installed at his own house. He ordered the Sentrel shower stall and other accessories and once those arrived, he called to schedule installation for that same week. Rodney is eager to start working early in the morning at 7am. He only works on one project at a time and doesn't split his time between clients, so there aren't half-finished projects that sit for days or weeks at a time when you hire him. He works weekends as well as weekdays. Rodney is prompt to answer questions via email and phone. My husband and I stayed home while Rodney and his assistant worked on the shower stall. They covered the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Rodney is a serious worker that strives to do a good job. He told us every time he was going to shut the water off and for how long it would be off, so we could prepare for that. He called us over to look at any strange house issues that would interrupt the progress and to get our opinions about how to proceed. We had a very uneven floor, floor joists too spaced apart, waterpipes that were coming up through the shower floor instead of behind the wall, and a giant hole carved out of one of the floor beams for the drainpipe. The new shower handle was defective and leaking, so Rodney put in a temporary handle for us to use the shower until the company sends a replacement that he can swap out. Also, he showed us how to change the handle ourselves if at some point in the future we decide that we want a new handle or need a new cartridge. Additionally, the previous owners had put up tile around the old shower stall on the walls that we wanted to keep if possible. Rodney was able to save that for us. Rodney also uses the expensive silicone sealant so there shouldn't be mold growth and we shouldn't have to re-caulk. He used Pex pipes to replace the copper pipes that were coming in at weird angles. We haven't used the shower yet as we're waiting for the sealant to dry completely, but I'm feeling good about the experience we had and am glad we hired Rodney.

Rodney partnered with Quality Stone in Virginia Beach, and their service--from selection to installation--was superb. Rodney provided a very fair price and handled every detail, including removing the bar, relocating an outlet, replacing 3 other outlets and installing a new sink and faucet. He even suggested a beautiful backsplash tile and helped me replace a 15-year-old over-the-range microwave with a new Whirlpool at a great price. Rodney is incredibly reliable, punctual, and truly available seven days a week. I highly recommend Full Circle Kitchen and Bath and will definitely call them for out next project
