Then, when we were in court, he went above and beyond, conveying my story, and what he thought was an appropriate outcome. I was floored by his eloquence and the wisdom of his word choices. He had also advised me on what Judges want to hear in such a case as mine which helped me in preparing my allocution when prompted by the Judge. It was also there in the courtroom where I witnessed Mr. Simmons in his element and tapping into his vast legal experience. I learned SO much about the law (related to my issue), courtroom behavior, legal terms, even such things as how lawyers negotiate with the State and the Judge about, well, legal stuff. If I am ever confronted by a legal problem (NOT THE SAME ONE!!!! ABSOLUTELY!!), Mr. Simmons would be the ONLY person I would trust to handle it for me. Bottom line, he knows his stuff, he's competent, and it's apparent to me that folks in the court system (Judges, Bailiffs, State prosecutors, other attorneys, even police officers) in Montgomery County know him and respect him and his opinions. How long do you think that will go on????" You are not safe in the market, now. We provided our contact information as required. Over a week later, no response (no phone call or voicemail and no email, and yes we checked our spam and promotions folders). Attached is a screenshot after submitting the webform showing it was received and "We will get back to you as soon as possible!" It's obvious by now they are not going to respond. The professional thing to do is respond even if they don't feel they can help us, instead of simply ignoring the inquiry. And there are no excuses such as: "We never check inquiries via our website." If that's the case then remove the webform from your website. "We prefer that inquiries are made over the phone." If that's the case then again, remove the webform from your website. "The employee responsible for checking the online inquiries forgot to do it." The employee should be counseled about the potential loss of business to the law firm by such inattentive behavior. "We read your inquiry and decided we can't or won't help you, for whatever reason." The professional and responsive thing to do in this case is to simply communicate that to the person who submitted the inquiry.
