The service started out as a 5‑star experience. The house was cleaned to my satisfaction, and Katie…read morewas easy to work with. Unfortunately, the consistency declined over time. It became a revolving door of cleaners, and the last three sessions were noticeably subpar -- cleaners were here for two hours but only able to clean our two bathrooms. Previous cleaners had completed both bathrooms and the kitchen in that same amount of time. Today I was also charged for more time than the cleaner was actually here, and when I raised the concern, Katie was not apologetic about the experience or the lack of quality. I had to send several messages before the cost was finally adjusted. I'm disappointed in how the service changed, and I can't continue with a company that isn't able to provide consistent quality or accountability.

The Thursday before the scheduled cleaning, we found out that the previous owner had the place professionally cleaned. So I asked if she would consider allowing us to cancel, or if not, I'd follow through on the cleaning commitment and have her clean another place for the same number of hours. She wound not consider allowing us to cancel (lost 167.00 deposit) AND she would not consider cleaning an alternate location. She said the quote was for that day and for that address only. Absolutely nowhere on the quote did it say the cleaning could not be moved to an alternate address. Also, she would not talk to me on the telephone to discuss. All of this was handled via text. Even after I told her I did not understand what she was trying to convey in the text, she still did not pick up a phone to discuss with me nor would she answer the phone when I called. Be extremely careful - I'm also in the service industry. I do understand things happen. I am always much more flexible with my customers. I was shocked, to say the least, that she wouldn't work with us a little more. As you can imagine, to loose 167.00 for an 80-year-old is quite disheartening.
