Amazing customer service by this dynamite lady! She's a one woman show and runs this business like a champ!!

I have been coming here for years! I avoid going elsewhere if I can help it. Reading the negative comments and I'm shocked to say the least. While Theresa is straight to the point and does not hesitate to say it like it is, she is in no way an asshole. In fact, she's actually a very kind woman and she does not come off as less. If you are looking for a fake smile and a little tickle on your ass with their nose to make you feel more safe or worthy of dropping your packages off you will likely leave disappointed when you leave. It's a wonderful place with a wonderful owner. She works hard and she's good at what she does. Kissing ass is not her job. read more

If you area reading this review, this business is NOT the United States Postal Service located on Almeda Genoa. This is a private business. I was in the area and needed to return an Amazon Prime package with a pre-paid UPS label. I accidentally came here instead of the UPS Store directly up the street. Since it was a pre-paid label, they still accepted the return. The staff was not overly friendly but not rude either. I was in and out quickly. The reason why I'm giving them two stars is because of the overpowering stench of cigarette smoke and the pet parakeet. I'm assuming the parakeet is not the one smoking but the combined smell of the two was disgusting. In addition, the birds are housed in open cages. There was bird seed and sunflower seeds everywhere. It was really kind of nasty. At this point, I'm assuming my package was actually returned to Amazon but I'm not sure. If I am in the area again anytime soon and need to ship something UPS, I probably won't come here. read more

I keep getting notices that packages are delivered and they are not. This is the 3rd time it happens. I try calling the Almeda post office and get no answer. This is very frustrating. read more

I stopped by to find out how much their notary service was, and I pulled in front of the store and parked. I started to touch up my makeup a little before I got out as I usually do, and when I looked up there was an employee inside throwing her arms up in the air and appeared to be highly frustrated. I looked behind me to see who she was frustrated with, and it was me! She pointed to a sign in the window that said it was for their parking only. She then started shooing me away with her arms, and I just kind of sat in awe for a second, because I couldn't believe that she was so tremendously upset that I had parked there. She didn't even give me time to get out of my car. She then started violently shaking her head and RAN to the back of the store as if to prove that she was going to get something from the back! A baseball bat? A gun perhaps??! I don't know, but I just drove away. It's better to be safe than sorry. I won't be going back. read more

I've received mail for years at this location and can not think of a safer, more friendly post office in Harris County. The owner is an area resident and knows all the people I know. The line is always shorter at APC than the USPS offices. Theresa has a personality and treats you like a friend. I recommend this business. read more

Moved out of my flooded home & I'm waiting for my new home to be built. I needed a place for my mail to be delivered. Checked out the UPS Store on Fuqua but they wanted too much money. So glad I went by Almeda Postal Center to check them out. They are the nicest & friendliest people. They usually have my mail ready to hand me as soon as I walk in the door because they quickly learn who you are. Packages arrive safely & are ready for pick up right away. Of course I usually have to chat for a bit because they are so friendly. Glad to have this great business in the neighborhood. read more

Horrible customer service! I always avoid going in this post office. But once in a while I have to ship items using them and every time I go in the employee(s) are always rude. When you ask a question their response is always said with a horrible tone. This is the main reason I try to pay a little more to ship with other carriers when available. read more

How do one review the Almeda Station that's located on Fuqua in Houston, Tx. Let me share my story, that transpired on Sept. 20, 2019 between 12 & 1P.M. I was home setting at my desk looking out my den window as the mail carrier, walked up under my garage to deliver my mail. I said hey, I'm coming trying to get it from her before she place it. As I walk outside I continue saying hey, trying to grasp the carriers attention, I though she might have ear plugs or music in her ears, I ask my neighbor who passed by her to get her attention and tell her, I was calling her. He did so tell her and by then she was in the the next yard and she responded, to me B-i-t-c -h I heard you. We then pass words and I immediately drove, to the neighborhood post office that located, in our community. Upon my arrival to the station my request to the clerk, present was to speak to a supervisor or manager in charge and she was the only employee who's customer service was much, appreciated. However, she returned to tell me that the manager said to tell, me to leave my name and phone # and she'd call me. I then request to speak with a supervisor and the clerk told me to go, to the window to the left and ring the bell. Nobody came then I ask again, then the lady that answered the window, I ask her were she a supervisor she said no and I again, requested that she get me one but she then said she, would but she have to get the customer that are in line so, I asked her what am I. When I couldn't get, even get someone to seem as though they were management and seem as though they're halfway, concerned about how their employee's are speaking, treating and the service in which customer's and a community of citizen are treated. What neither of them or the phone clerk at the Houston District office, I asked her for the person that's over this particular station Almeda on Fuqua and I thought she was calling, the District Manager and when she came back to me after being on whole, she apologize for not adding, me in on the call but she also said that it was a good thing because the lady, that she was on the phone say that she was the Post Master, for The Almeda Station. But what the clerk, who place me on hold and apologized for not conferencing me in upon getting, the lady on the phone who was the supervisor who would not, come to the front desk and No She's not the post master she lied to the clerk that station do have a Post Master At This Time But They're about to get one.... The ladies, inwhich I'm speaking of I purposely, did not reveal their names. She later, came out and was so like not, professional. I call the police, so that I could have a report. If anything, happen I have a police report as well as other reports for something, that should have never happened. there were many others customers who were sadden, very apologetic for the way, I was treated and they also share with me that this station is filled with always rude and without customer service people... Just the same as those in my neighborhood are complaining, about the carrier that fills in performance when interacting with the community while working. I'm a believer in Christ Jesus 1st and foremost because there are so much, happening today for someone to curse you from not just the post office but anywhere and they don't know you. The only thing it can be is that dope... Heck, our lives are just as important as the post office Employee's. Also they need to get those cameras fixed..... What lie will they tell if something happens over there..... read more

This is my favorite place to go for postal and notary services. Teresa, the owner, is an absolute sweetheart. She helps package stuff up. Her notary prices are very reasonable. She has free shipping supplies (bubble wrap, styrofoam, peanuts, boxes, etc) because people donate stuff to her to help recycle. If you use her and her packing supplies, please be nice and donate back. She also has books that people have donated that you can borrow and bring back, or just keep. read more
