Worst service ever at a USPS. They're all not great. But this own was especially bad. Rude, everyone on a break, unhelpful, long line (with everyone on break). It was awful. Took every ounce of self control not to seriously yell. I was rude right back. Worst service ever. It's really a shame I'm forced to get mail through these jerk and packages. If i could fire USPS from all transactions, including but not limited to mail, I would after my experience at this location. It's a shame our tax dollars pay for this! read more

I will admit, I have not stepped into a post office for at least 4 years of my life and I cannot find them like I did before, mainly because I moved to a new area but OK. I needed to send a package and I am so sorry but I am not the type of person that has ANY patience at all what so ever, I usually bribe people to do something for me or I do it all online. First thing I noticed was that there was a pretty long line to be helped out by the front clerk people (like seriously, do that many people send packages off?)I guess that is why I am here in the first place huh? So I directed myself to the Automatic package handler to: Get the right packaging pay for the package weight the package and also figure out how to place the to and from address onto the package. So I did most of them with the exception of knowing where to place the label onto the package, I felt like a snobby modernized Millennial that has no clue how to send such thing off but I was not going to give up so easily since I needed the package to be sent off pronto! I swallowed my pride and got in line. I waited and all I simply needed to ask is where to place the shipping sticker and the address, after explaining myself to the kind clerk he helped me out and even let me borrow his marker. Boy was I glad he helped me out, I disliked how little I know of the post office but I appreciated the help and how they attempt to make the shipping easier. read more

OK The USPS in Houston is a nightmare. They will lecture you if you tell them this because of how they consolidated their hubs into one a few years ago. GREAT. That has zero to do with losing packages when they come to Webster. The mail people constantly mismail packages. It's the biggest headache since I've moved here. The girls at our front office watch them sometimes go into the office to use the computer. Not for doing their jobs, mind you, but to just relax and not do their jobs while getting paid. I once walked up to the mail lady while I was walking and she said I surprised her! I laughed it off until she said she was on facebook. What the actual hell. These people get paid. To just chill. 5-stars for a Post Office?!?!?!?! What?!?!?!?! I know. I thought the same thing. First of all, I rarely go to any post office as the lines are normally long and slow. Even when they are not long, they are still slow. I stopped into this Webster location on my way to a doctor appointment. It was the week prior to Christmas so I was absolutely expecting the worst. The line was long. Every station had an employee and they were HUSTLING through the people. Sometimes, they were doing two at a time. Amazing. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Amazing. This post office is okay, It's functional and the people are sort of friendly, but usually I don't like to go here because the lines are terrible, and I don't care for sort of friendly people. They do have the mail your own stuff kiosk out front, which is helpful as they've cut their hours and close at 4:30 on the weekedays and are only open from 9-12 on Saturdays. read more

OMG! How awful can it get? The Webster, TX post office is returning our mail to sender. Returning items like our utility bills that have the address clearly printed, birthday cards, credit card. I've been trying to call the post office for days. I'm currently on hold with an estimated wait time of 49 minutes!!! What private business could do this? NONE! I would drive there but my car is in the shop for a week. Meanwhile our mail is returned (including my updated new credit card) with no explanation or reason for it. This is why ALL MY PACKAGES go UPS or FedEx. This is another government organization out of control and totally inept in spite of billions pumped in. I would rather pay a private organization to deliver. They need to be privatized. They'll fight it because pay & benefits are too wonderful under Uncle Sam. read more

I made an appt to renew my passport. When I came in to do this, I was told that the camera 'wasn't set up' by Rhonda - the only one 'trained' to do the passport stuff. She tried to send me to Walgreen's to get the pictures and come back. When i mentioned for the third time that I had made an appt because I wanted to do everything in one stop, she finally said - all right, I'll set up the camera. Now this involved putting a chair in the lobby and carrying a camera on a wire out there, too, not an huge task. When filling out the forms, I said I didn't now what the zip code for Lubbock (emergency contact) was. She looked me in the eye and said she had no idea what it was. I pointed out that we were, after all, in the post office and maybe she could look it up for me, which she reluctantly did. She was grudging, sullen, surly, and not at all helpful. I don't know who she thinks she is there to serve, but it certainly wasn't me. In total, the perfect example of a govt employee with a bad attitude. The gentleman she pawned me off on to finish (remember, I had to make an appointment with her because she was the only one 'trained'), was every bit as courteous, pleasant, and efficient as she was not. Here's hoping someone in her managment chain monitors these reviews. read more

Pink slip left in mailbox on Friday. Went to pick up package Saturday at 8 am, they are open 7 am - noon. Rang bell at door. Ignored. Knocked, rang bell, called number on door, numerous times. People heard yellng, talking, laughing at us in line on the other side of the door. We heard the opening of pop top cans, the more we rang the bell the more they yelled & laughed. Finally after 40 minutes, a guy came to the door. Unacceptable. No customer service. These people should be retrained better yet, standing in the unemployment line. read more

I only gave 1 star because I HAD to. The lines are too long, overpaid employees are downright RUDE. They weren't downright rude to me, but they were obnoxious to five of the seven people in front of me. They were of NO help with my transaction. They don't have answers to a simple question, like "where is my mail?" They act offended that you have audacity to ask them this. The gal just shrugged and stared at me. Not HELPFUL at all, and not what I stood in line for 45 minutes for. There is NO mailbox at my office, so there is no way for them to deliver unless they bring it to my door. They notated that the package I ordered (deliberately NOT from the USPS) was delivered to my mailbox. I don't have a mailbox, so where did it go? As of January 1, the prices for postage went up (AGAIN!) and it's entirely, undeserved. I tried to call for three days and got only a busy signal...I'm not buying that they are that swamped. I am sure they put the lines on hold so patrons cannot call for help. Poor service, ignorant and rude (overpaid) employees, unreasonable expenses. As far as I am concerned, I just wish the post office would close their doors. It has absolutely lost it's usefulness. I've decide to avoid their services at all costs from now on. I live in Chatham Village on Hwy 3.Our mail carrier is horrible! My fiance and I am getting married and have been living together for almost two years.I have not recieved any mail in over two weeks! My bills have been sent back to the sender this driver put my fiance's name in our mailbox and took my name off!I never applied for a change of address I am still there and I cant get my mail due to his I dont give a damn attitude.His family member I think it might be his dad works inside the office and does nothing about this.Many people at Chatham VILLAGE have complianed about this and its like no one cares.This is not the first time I have had an issue with this guy.If you want your mail don't move to Chatham Village!!!We have requested a new driver and nope we get this guy. read more

Rude and incompetent! The employees speak to customers as if they are inferior. They cannot deliver mail correctly. I have to give back some other poor customers mail because the carrier mistakenly delivers it to us. Yet even though I only moved from one house to another a few blocks away, after a month I haven't received any mail at my new address. Though I have gone to the office, spoken with the carrier at the mailbox, and called several times, they refuse to help. When asked for a supervisor, I am told that they are all on vacation. When I ask for an employee's name, they refuse to identify themselves. They must be doing something wrong if they are ashamed to admit who they are, and the supervisor is impossible to reach and has no office voicemail. Strange... read more

This is the worst postal service EVER! I've lived all over the country and this office by far has the worst employees I've ever seen! Yea they're all relatively polite, but obviously don't know how to do their jobs. I've had missing packages, broken gifts because they didn't mark the box fragile when instructed, once my husband was sent certified mail that had to be signed for, our mail lady has never once brought anything to our door. She simply marks that she attempted to deliver and we weren't home, when I'm a stay at home Mom and home 24/7. What's funny is the day I finally got the so called 2nd notice and went to the post office to pick it up, she had already dated the 3rd and final notice for the following day..BUSTED. She also leaves our mailbox doors open and we live at an apt complex, so when the main door is open you can take anyone's mail! I've made complaints to the supervisor before and nothing is ever done. I had to return a warranty cell phone. You have to do it in 10 days or pay the $600 Yada Yada Yada. I dropped off the phone package with the box and return slip per AT&T instructions. The guy at the desk wouldn't give me a drop off receipt because USPS doesn't actually mail it a 3rd party has to be called to get it. This happened on a Wednesday. By Tuesday the next week the tracking # still showed "No Information" after calling 40 times throughout the morning I finally got a ring rather than a busy tone. The Post Master advised that the "agent" had picked it up on Saturday. When I asked about the tracking info he said he had no idea. Lo and behold the next morning the tracking info was updated and showed the phone had been picked up 3 hours AFTER my call. Liar. Now I have to argue with AT&T about it sitting at the post office for 6 days (even though I used their return process) so I don't get charged the full amount of the phone. They say they will have to charge me then reimburse me when it actually shows up... read more
