She worked with our preplanned schedule and helped keep all the kids entertained, which made a huge difference for everyone. Third year at Camp Fimfo -- and unfortunately probably our last…read more Our family has come here three years in a row. This year we booked four days at hundreds of dollars per night. Our nephew is almost four and has ridden the small red and blue slides in the interactive children's water playground during each of the last two years. They were the main attraction he was excited about returning to. This year, after we arrived, we were told he suddenly must be 42 inches tall to ride them. So somehow he could ride these slides when he was younger and smaller, but cannot ride them now. We absolutely understand legitimate safety requirements. What we don't understand is this: The enormous full-size water slides at Camp Fimfo also have a 42-inch minimum. So the little slides in the children's water-play structure now have the same minimum height as the massive elevated water slides. Perhaps there is a legitimate safety explanation for that, but from a customer's perspective it makes very little sense. Even more frustrating, while sitting here today we have watched children who appear to be our nephew's height -- and some who appear shorter -- being allowed down the same small slides. If 42 inches is necessary for safety, enforce it consistently. If this is a new restriction, clearly disclose it before returning families spend substantial money booking their trip. We called the front desk before posting a review to give Camp Fimfo an opportunity to address the situation. The employee was cordial. Their proposed solution was a free ice cream. After spending hundreds of dollars per night on a four-day stay, an ice cream doesn't address the problem. This isn't about demanding that Camp Fimfo ignore a safety rule. It's about clear disclosure, consistent enforcement, and reasonable treatment of returning customers. Watching an almost-four-year-old try to understand why he could ride his favorite slides when he was younger and smaller, but can't now -- while similarly sized children continue riding them -- is incredibly disappointing. We returned for a third year because Camp Fimfo had earned our family's business. Unless this is meaningfully addressed, there won't be a fourth.

We mainly came for the splash pad. They told us the indoor and out-pool is heated. The splash pad and the water playground was not and still really cold (early may). Water play ground was slightly warmer than splash pad but still pretty cold. My 2 yoa was shivering so we mainly stayed in the heated pool. My older daughter braved the cold and played in the water playground and loved the water slides. We would consider coming back and renting a cabin.

We floated with them one of the days too and our get out was literally our front door. The bathroom was about half way down from the entrance and we were the second to last spot. The showers were by the entrance and you need quarters for the water to have some pressure. There are only two showers so the lines got pretty long at night when people were getting ready for bed. All the staff were so nice and helpful. They go around and pick up trash, deliver ice to your site when brought from their little store, and one lady took my tubes back to the front for me when she was picking up the trash. I'm already looking at dates to go again before it gets cold.

I asked if they provide a military discount since I am in fact a disabled veteran and his response was no. Then I asked if I can just pay for a daily pass since I was only going to be there that evening and half the day the next day being the 4th of July and his response was no I can only purchase a 3 day pass at $12 per adult. Well I ended having to pay $99.62 to gain access to this campground and if you do the math 2 adults at $12 a person for 3 days does not equal $99.62. This place is a scam and take advantage of disabled military veterans! I would give this place a negative number of stars if there was that option!

Would have never known where it was until finally had to ask. I will say, the the Red Barn being there and late night activities, might not be real kid friendly. Around 2 am on Friday night there was a fight right in front of our camper and got pretty scary and escalated. Was some drunks leaving the bar and causing problems at the camp sites so might not be kid friendly.
