He was so patient as we walked around the entire store having a super fun time looking at all the neat wares. I fell in love with a tall metal bird sculpture made from old silverware. Unfortunately the long metal stake it was mounted on was not going to be able to be carried on to the plane nor would it fit in my checked suitcase. The size also made it prohibitive to mail. Since I have a good welder, we came up with the idea to cut the stake. Tom's wife Terri, who was already home, popped down like it was no big deal to bring the metal snips! I was SO excited and appreciative of their going above and beyond! Every time I look at my sculpture, I think of this great store and the lovely owners.

Either the owner or staff were busy looking at their phones my entire visit. It felt like I was imposing to ask for items. Then at check out, zero connection to me as their customer. Owners: wake up if you want to win over locals and have us refer others to you. There are other options for no-contact and we hope you'll stay if you make an effort.
