I would have probably bought more items, but she had bad energy!! Maybe you should hire someone who has a personality. Sorry, but thought you should know.

The owner was there and she waited on me hand and foot, so pleasant and helpful. I get so many compliments when I wear the items I purchased there this summer. Get yourself a nice wraparound curtain for the back of your head, and you can fit in with the Ferengi. That's why we were delighted to find the selection of hats at The Iron Horse. While we initially assumed this shop would only help us go undercover in the Old West, we soon discovered that it offered a very wide range of options for just about any secret mission. Sure, there's a great assortment of cowboy hats, and as soon as a member of my crew learns to ride a horse, I'll be sure to mosey in here and pick one up. But The Iron Horse also offers fedoras suitable for blending in at casinos. It has newsboy caps suitable for those starting out in the media business. It even has a glorious collection of steampunk hats that would come in mighty handy for those tasked with enforcing Starfleet's Temporal Prime Directive. My junior crew members settled for two classic choices. The chief engineer selected a black felt pork pie with a tasteful feather accent, ideal for their chosen disguise as high school hipster. My first officer selected an Australian oilskin hat, after testing every under-$50 hat in the store for its ability to help him utter a credible "G'day, mate!" While we were very happy with the crew members' chosen hats, I cannot in good conscience recommend The Iron Horse as an official Starfleet outfitter. The lone shopkeeper was notably unfriendly, at least until she became convinced that our junior crew members' extensive try-ons were going to lead to an actual purchase. Furthermore, while the older members of my crew were also interested in obtaining headgear, we were discouraged by the shopkeeper's claim that she would be closing at 6 (at the time, it was 5:30, and we were eager to fit in another couple of stops). However I did note that the store was still open when we passed by a little before 7 p.m. Perhaps we had a miscommunication? I am still learning Earth customs.

Really turned me off of buying anything or looking more closely at what they had. Everyone has bad days, but customer relations and friendliness matters. Won't be stopping here the next time I'm in Chelan.

This boutique specializes in women's clothing and accessories. I saw plenty of lovely tops and…read moredresses and pants, as well as purses and totes and jewelry items. I'd say this shop caters most to women in their 30's and older. The quality of clothing was high, both in materials and craftsmanship. As a result, the prices of clothing here was also quite high. You get what you pay for, I suppose! The store itself is pretty and well laid-out. There's an open plan here and it's easy to walk about and explore the various clothing racks and displays. The dressing rooms in the back looked quite nice, too. The lady who works here was very pleasant and we chatted a bit. I was surprised that they didn't have any business cards when I asked for one, though (I keep business cards for future reference, and also to help me when I write my Yelp reviews!). For the most part, though, this was a nice store to explore, with higher-end women's ware. I would definitely check back here if I lived nearby to see when items went on sale.
