I can't believe I have never reviewed this little Jim of the kitchen store in downtown Chelan. Their huge selection of very unique kitchen items (the standard items as well) along with spices and marinades, and of course my favorite....fresh fudge. I stopped in because I had some time to waste and they were having a knife sale...Well I am glad I did. The customer service was amazing, took the time to talk to me about everything. Not pressured to buy anything...though I did and I would again. Highly recommend this place if you need a knife or any other culinary tool or kitchen gadget. Hand's down, this is probably the coolest store in all of Chelan (and that says a lot, as there a lot of cool boutiques and shops!). Even my hubby and kid, who are decidedly NOT "kitchen people", loved this shop. It is jam-packed with interesting and fun and utilitarian and decorative house stuff for everyone. Yes, it's mostly kitchen-oriented, but there are party supplies, cool herb planting kits (in their own burlap bags!), wine accessories, fudge for sale (and they were handing out samples when we were there. Bonus!), grilling stuff, cheese boards, aprons, funny napkins and dish towels, coasters, trivets, and a gazillion tools and gadgets I had no idea what they do but I'm certain I could use them! All of them! We found the prices of all items very reasonable - on a par or less than the same or comparable items I've seen elsewhere. Many items, however, were so unique, I had never seen them before. There were 5 or more different kinds of egg timers. Egg timers! At least 5 kinds. In fact, there was a huge selection of nearly everything. I must add, the ladies who work here are incredibly friendly. When I was making my purchase at the cash (some neat ceramic coasters for the cup holders in my car, and other knick-knacks), my small items were put in a small, plain paper bag. I commented in passing how sad that the small bags aren't cute like the larger store bags which were made of an opaque thick plastic with handles, with a bright red graphic apple on them. Without skipping a beat, the lady at the cash folded up one of these plastic apple bags and just put it in the paper bag for me with my items. How thoughtful! I use that plastic apple bag daily, bringing my lunch to work, and I think of this lovely store and await the time I can return! read more

This store has everything. I love a small town kitchen store and the ability to shop local, but this place really has everything. It's squeezed inside a small space, but definitely still recommend. And very friendly service too! read more

Okay, so I am a sucker for kitchen stores. I love to cook and can't resist kitchen tools and gadgets. The store carries a wide selection of unique china, glassware, utensils, small appliances, grilling tools, le Creuset pots, trivets, wine accessories, aprons and dish towels, bowls, spices, teas and so much more. There are a lot of unique items in this store and you can spend an hour just browsing through the shelves. We picked up some great finds like a rice cube (for making layered rice hors d'oeuvres and square sushi - I did say they carry unique stuff, right?), Himalayan Salt cooking brick, cast iron wall decor and a box of Sea Salt Caramel Chocolates. They also sell fudge... yum and lots of gift items for you or your favorite "chef". The owners are friendly and helpful. I signed up for their rewards card so we will definitely be back! read more

What an amazing little store! They have a tremendous selection of everything kitchen related. My wife spied a cute floral travel mug (which I pretended not to notice her admiring). I snuck away later to purchase it and the staff were so helpful. They even gift wrapped it beautifully, no extra charge. I highly recommend this shop. read more

We walked in to the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. They had exactly what I was looking for (Mango Slicer). They also gave us fresh fudge samples and were very very friendly. Amazing place. read more

They have a huge selection of culinary items, as the name would suggest. We were recommended this store by someone who had visited the store years before. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have tons of things that you would never expect. The prices weren't bad. The fudge and the roasted cashews were delicious. They also have a demonstration kitchen that I didn't see in use. read more

We tried to return a very inexpensive item that was defective but the owner lady was not very nice! She refused to accept the return and was hesitant in offering an exchange option. Item was used once, which is when we noticed that it did not function as it should. Conveniently, the store does not accept returns on "used" merchandise.. word of advice: examine your item carefully before you buy... and maybe prepare some food in store so as to make sure item works properly. Never had an issue with any other Chelan shops before, so I am very surprised to have been treated this way. Not planning on buying anything here any more. read more
