We found Aloha Lending Services on Yelp and were encouraged by the reviews. More research indicated they are a local business and family owned. That sealed it for us and they didn't disappoint. Since the loan process was/is during the challenges of Covid-19 we were unable to meet in person, except during the final signing. However, that did not stop Shannon and her staff from giving us the royal treatment. They were professional and yet very warm and caring. Shannon proceeded to go over the various loan options available to us and lo and behold, we qualified for the USDA loan. Shannon went to work to ensure we got the lowest rate possible and we were over the moon with the results. But she didn't stop there. She looked for every credit she could find to help reduce the closing costs. In the end, the down payment that was used to open escrow, well, guess what? We are getting it back via the credits that Shannon was able to find. My real estate agent stated that in all her 15 years she has never seen anyone receive money back.
