Yesterday I had the worst, rushed pedicure of my life. I waited patiently for 40 minutes. There was no one after me. I purchased an upgraded pedicure because my feet were in rough shape. They still are. Tons of cuticles and dead skin left. My heels aren't smooth. The whole process was 25-30 minutes and she used the same tool to disconnect the filter then used it to dig under my nails. I came in to relax on rare day off and left in tears. I've been here twice, got a full set both times. The first time I wanted the almond shaped nails w a design, she couldn't do the design which was fine but after she was finished they were more of a stiletto shaped and just awful. 60$. This last time I went I got a basic short black french tip and oh my god they were so horrible I cried. They didn't look that bad until after I washed them and got into the sunlight. 55$!!! Don't understand " why" a customer feels " drilled ". about why their " fake nails" came off. This happened on the first visit. Second visit: I went back to get nails " filled". Nail tech asked:" What do you want? Buffy or (?).". I had no idea what the nail tech was talking about. The nail tech and another nail tech " starting snickering.". I immediately spoke up and said: " I have no idea what you are talking about. All I came in here for was to have someone " fill these nails. I did not come in here to be the bunt of someone's smart remark! If you choose not to do this for me, I will get up and leave. After being treated in an ugly manner, I have no problem leaving.". I would advise anyone else to not go to this place. The owner didn't even say a word about the behavior of his nail techs and the remarks made to me. This place is HORRIBLE... Do NOT go here. The guy who did my toes did a horrible job and ruined my toes as you can see in the photos he clearly can't keep the paint on my nail and i got a gel pedicure and he didn't even cure the polish all the way and that can cause contact dermatitis which is permanent and something you can not get rid of!!! He also was using tools that have already been used on others peoples feet which is a hazard as well! DO NOT go here and honestly this place needs to be shut down now... they don't understand the health risks that come from that place. The place is also dirty and unorganized. Had a great experience with one of the ladies up there. She did a great job on all the services I got done. (Gel Pedicure, dip on my own nails, and she tinted and waxed my brows) I also thought the prices were fair and not much different from other places in town. Henry is back!!! The owner sold his place to retire a few years ago but they called him back when they were struggling to do business. Henry took over again (at 81 years old!) in December. He's so sweet - I remember the first time I came here he was passing out cute wine glasses. This time I left with a bottle of lotion and candy for my mom, who I usually come with. The place is clean and the employees do everything by the book. It's not easy to find a place that does a great job on shellac nails, but they have the good stuff here. On the eve, to Christmas eve my mother drove me to Aloha Nails to purchase her gift card for a Christmas gift to her. I gave an older Asian lady, with hair just below her ear lobes, $60 cash to purchase my mother a deluxe pedicure and regular manicure. I placed the white envelope in my purse and walked to the car. On Christmas day my mother opened her gift and my kids inadvertently threw the gift away mistaken it for trash. On January 2nd I called Aloha nails and asked to speak to the manager after explaining our situation. He looked up the transaction, but could only find the credit card transactions. The young man on the phone said he would take a message for the manager and ask them to call me. The next day, the young man called me back and said there was nothing that could be done, whether they tracked the transaction or not, they needed the gift card number. I called back again while my mother was in the nail shop and pleaded with the manager on duty, and they told me nothing could be done. My mother has been a faithful customer for nearly two decades. I have been purchasing gift cards there for years for various holidays. I was disgusted and disappointed when the manger refused to make a concession for my mother. I have gone to Aloha for several years . They always do a great job. I get complimented on my nails regularly. If I have any problem, they are quick to fix it but generally there are no problems. I get the dipping powder which lasts 2-3 weeks. read more

My mom, aunt and I wanted to get our nails done before we went on vacation. We went on a Wednesday night at 5:30, but called before to make sure we had enough time to get in for pedicures and 2 of us wanted nails. The minute we sat down they seemed rushed and were talking in a different language the entire time to each other. They didn't offer but one of us a drink, when the other 2 asked for one it was like they were put out. When they finished our toes and it was time for nails they rushed and didn't do a good job at all. My gel nails lasted all of 2 days, and my aunt left with wet nails that had already messed up. Probably the worst nail salon I've ever gone to. I went on a Sunday as they were one of the only places open during the mornings to get a gel manicure. Three days later the gel started cracking, chipping, and bubbling. I went the following Sunday to ask for it to be taken off because I was tired of seeing the chipped polish. They refused to take it off because I did not remember which woman did my nails and the older woman (owner) told me to go to my old salon. Worst service I've ever had. Spare yourself. read more

My mom and I were looking for a nail salon during my visit and we came here. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was very clean and the massage chairs were comfortable and worked well. We got a water as we sat down and it wasnt too crowded on Sunday afternoon. The staff was was amicable, but I would say the pedicure was just ok. Nothing too exciting. We got the $37 option which included salt scrub but not totally worth the money. Their basic pedicure was $30. They cut a little too close on both my mom and my skin which made it tender and too short for my liking. So for the prices, it may be worth a visit if you are looking for a pleasant but not fancy pedicure. read more

I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone to get their nails done by tammie especially if it's a polish... She literally put like 10 coats on my nails and then wondered why my nails would get dented... Like OMG, instead of covering the dent, why not just restart rather than put so many coats! Ugh. However, I would go to Tina, she likes to talk to her customers and does a great job. I requested to have my old set of nails soaked off and a new set put on...So Katy soaked my nails off and so on...instead of putting a new set on she just put an overlay over my nails....so I thought it would be cheaper since I didn't get what I requested but no!!!!!! She basically charged me for using my own nails and said that it would be the same price if I had fake nails....That makes zero sense to me to charge the same for your own nails and fake nails. Eyelash extensions were terrible. They used clusters instead of individual lashes. They didn't tape down my bottom lashes.. So the glue was all over my bottom lashes and all over my cheeks. She tugged on my eyelids so much that my contact lens came out. When the lash glue dried it was hard and all the lashes were stuck to each other. And the cherry on top was when they all started to fall off 5 hours later. These were not true eyelash extensions. Terrible experience read more

I went there this past Friday as my very first manicure. What a disappointment! For as fancy as they look, their service is atrocious. They did nothing I couldn't have done better at my house. I went with a friend and they actually made her bleed because they cut her cuticles to far. The nail polish application sucked. Last but not least, I didn't even get offered any wine which was supposed to come with the package that I ordered. So glad I opted not to get a pedicure as well! This was the worst manicure. The nail tech cut me with the cuticle clippers and didn't even apologize. I asked for a french manicure. When I left and got outside, I realized the top coat was tinted a pink purplish color and did not look natural. My fingers looked as if they were painted with a glow in the dark color. I think the top coat had become tinted by all the different colors it had been dipped. I also took my 11 year old daughter with me for a manicure. Her tech did not add the nail art she had requested. My daughter said the lady kept yawning and was not paying attention. I noticed she did my daughter very quickly and then moved on to some ladies that came in after us for a pedicure. My daughter did not say anything to me until after we left so I let it go. I would not recommend Aloha Nails to anyone. read more

Tammy did my set of solar nails, and she managed to make me bleed in four different places. She didn't even make my nails the same length, and a couple of the French tips are crooked. I will never come back! read more
