Fantastic new climbing and bouldering gym in Kahului. I've been hoping for a place like this to open for years, and it's better than I could have hoped! There's ample ventilation, which is critical for climbing in our local climate. The staff are lovely. The facility itself is pristine: 40 foot climbing walls with fixed grigri to belay for top roping, some lead climbing, loads of bouldering. The routesetting grading is a little soft, but the routes themselves are fun and thoughtful. Nice little basic gym area too with some weights and benches. They have a gear shop with a good selection of harnesses and shoes, and some snacks including local fave Pauwela Bev Co. Oh, and the pricing is very attractive for what you get. Absolutely a five star spot. I'm so thrilled!

so incredible!!! multiple boulder walls with beginner friendly - expert routes! I came with my friends and took advantage of the 1st day for locals price ($20). it came with shoes and was full day access :) we had SO MUCH fun and I can't wait to come back

What a interesting new place to explore. A little tricky to find behind Costco but worth the hunt. Upon entering you need to sign a ipad waiver whether just looking around or rock climbing. The staff is very helpful if you have an difficulty with their iPad. So many choices for routes to take-free climbing/ropes/hanging holds. I ask lots of questions and staff was very happy to answer all of mine. You need to take a class to be certified to use their walls. They said they will be changing the rock positions every month or so, so you will continue to be challenged if come back multiple times. I was just looking this time but look forward to going back to take a class and try the ropes another time.

Go try... you will be blown away by the scale, the quality, the friendly owners and staff that love such a fun , healthy activity and are one on one sharing climbing with you. This is a place for everyone from keiki to kūpuna to all to hang out and enjoy each other and this AMAZING facility! Did i mention this place is MASSIVE!?

I was so excited when I heard Maui's first climbing gym was opening. The team that had vision and courage to put this amazing facility together care deeply about our island community and the future of climbing in Hawaii. Tony, Jeff, Scott, Angie (just to name a few!) bring aloha, good vibes, and passion to the sport and its future on Maui. The facility is well thought out with excellent bouldering and rope climbing routes, plus exercise equipment, gear for rent/sale, and nice lounge areas. Thank you Aloha Rock Gym team for bringing this facility to Maui!!

Best thing to do in Maui & Lahaina, Hands-down! *. *. *…read moreWe had the most amazing time at Lahaina Goat Yoga. We had a group of 6 friends & were looking for a cool new Lahaina activity to do that's not in or on the water (we were so beyond water-logged at that point) & I'm so glad we found this place & decided to try something new & different. We originally found another Goat Yoga place thinking it was in Lahaina (due to the way the Ad read) so please don't be fooled! Luckily, we learned in time that it's nowhere near Lahaina & was all the way on the other side of the island--over an hour away from our hotel in Lahaina! We definitely did not want to drive that far, so we were thrilled when we found the real Lahaina Goat Yoga location, that is actually "in Lahaina." What a concept. The Maui Gods were watching over us that day because this ended up being such an amazing experience of a lifetime for our whole group, from beginning to end. The whole vibe there was awesome & u could feel the love as soon as you got there. Super chill, calming & Zen amongst the breathtaking natural Maui scenery. The peaceful beauty & Aloha spirit surrounds you on a beautiful quaint little farm right in the heart of Lahaina, overlooking the pristine turquoise ocean with the Emerald Green West Maui mountains as your backdrop. I didn't know what to expect with this & was admittedly kind of scared to do it at first. But, the goats were so cute & gentle & we laughed at their shenanigans so much until it hurt! We had the absolute BEST TIME! I'm so glad I booked this as it quickly became the highlight of our whole trip & definitely gave us the most laughs! Kim was such an amazing instructor too. Super bubbly & funny. She has a very kind, magnetic, warm personality & exudes a fun but calming, positive energy. I've had a lot of yoga teachers in the past, but she is extremely knowledgeable & knows her craft. She really connected with us all & was very helpful & patient with us as Newbies. We didn't want the fun to end so we stayed after for a while to talk, share stories, laugh some more & play with & feed all the cute goats. We even got to give the baby goats little bottles of milk! So, if you're looking for something new & exciting, that's adventurous & super fun, and leaves you feeling better than when you came in, sign up for a class the next time you're in Lahaina. You can't beat the price for an activity or excursion in that area & you will leave with a smile on your face, a renewed sense of self, a pep in your step & memories that will last a lifetime. My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard & this was such an amazing, fun experience. Thank you, Kim, Deb, Lahaina Goat Yoga & especially all my new little goat friends for sharing this experience & the true Aloha spirit with us. We will definitely be back for more laughs next year with new friends! Mahalo!
