Class gets hawt. In a great way, especially during this chilly winter months. I love that the first class is free (you have to purchase, but they use that $$ towards a future credit). It's pricey and would love if that price included free yoga mat, but you can rent mats for an additional price. No showers or any other features, however the 2 Vinyasa flow classes I have taken were really great, with really talented instructors. Classes were full and parking in the direct spots are limited, but overall, a really great yoga experience. read more

I had not been into a yoga studio in over 15 years. With all of my nerves and aches and pains, I had little expectation that one class would even make a difference. Right when I walked in, I was greeted by a wonderful smile and a very easy-going inviting atmosphere. Delana greeted me with a big smile and made me feel right at home. Her balance of knowledge and keeping the class and it's slow while also ensuring a little individual attention was perfect! There's no better injury prevention than working out tendon and muscle flexibility in advance. Crash well :) A Tahoe Must for those that drop these mountains... Shaelah is wonderfully attentive and helpful. Her Bhakti Flow will appeal to power yoga fans from around the world. The studio is beautiful and well heated, rooted in the radiant heat cork floor. This yoga studio gives me all the feels. It's breathtakingly beautiful and when you step inside, you feel home. Mike's classes are sequenced so well, it's a phenomenal workout, wildly thought provoking and spiritual, and leaves me with a sense of purpose that lasts into the week. The hot Pilates classes are hands down the best workout you can get in all of Truckee Tahoe. Whenever I go out of town, I strive to find studios that compare and I feel so grateful this one is in my hometown. Always looking for a place to workout when in Tahoe and finally found it!! Took a Yoga class w Lucas which was Great!!!! And a Pilates based Hitt w Shanna which has left me sore and super happy. Music was great in both classes, teachers are extremely knowledgeable and the flow of each class was super on point!! Studio is perfectly heated especially during the winter days. The most radiant yoga studio!! High ceilings, light heat, impeccable lighting and brilliant (seriously, world class) teachers. Also... WOW what a diverse class schedule! So glad I got monthly unlimited. It gets me in, in deep, and I'm in the best mental and physical state of my life. ok first of all, if you are new to yoga...do the $30 for 30 days here. This is an amazing deal that you won't find anywhere else and you can find out if it's something you want to stick with or not. Second, i think i've experienced most of the instructors here and i can't decide on a favorite. They are all so amazing and talented. All the instructors are gentle and welcoming, so a beginner like me never feels judged or out of place. The rooms are heated (but not hot...it's not bikram) so bring a towel or you can rent one. And try to get there early because classes fill up, since this is such an amazing place. The classes are challenging and leave you feeling very satisfied! Thanks Studio Tahoe! I love the new ownership of this studio and I cannot say enough about Tarin's Sunrise Sculpt class...YOU NEED TO GET UP EARLY and do this class with me! It's at 6:30am and is so strengthening and is at the perfect pace. It's challenging and always can be as you can always choose heavier weights! Tuesdays and Thursdays you guys...have your partner stay with the kids and run over here-you'll be home in time for breakfast! I've also heard such great things about Abby Jacob's class and Lauri Glenn (also an amazing massage therapist!) I enjoyed Mike's (owner) class as well and with a 60$ one month trial you really have nothing to lose in trying this studio out. Best of all, they keep adding classes to the schedule which provides so many options for members. I hope someday there is a 3rd Sunrise Sculpt class added but for now I'm just so grateful I found it! So get a trial membership and let's WAKE UP AND SCULPT! read more

This is an unbelievably nice studio! Nicer than anything in San Francisco or Santa Monica that I found. The room itself is a great shape and size with high ceilings and no support poles in the middle of the room. The flooring, acoustics, colors, light and air are all outstanding. Shaelah and all of the other teachers I have had here have been great, including the subs. Having access to this studio makes trips to Tahoe so much better! read more

I just got back to Truckee last Monday after a grueling fire season in Alaska. I have had the pleasure of attending class at Alpenflow everyday with a different teacher/style since my return. The last five days with Sherry, Morgan, Lucas, Sun and Mike have been a pleasure as I enter back into less work and more healthy lifestyle. All five teachers are knowledgeable, helpful and thorough let alone friendly, warm. Also, I'm grateful for the the extension of my class package purchased last fall under a different owner. Working fire in Alaska takes me away for six months of the year making it difficult sometimes to make it back in a timely manner. Thank you for the healing class this morning, Mike. In my (many) years of practicing Yoga, I have never been to a facility that, across the board, has such excellent instructors. I have been attending classes here for 4 years or so and have yet to have an instructor that I was not impressed with. Seriously, I've had some great instruction in the past, but never seen this level of excellence across so many individuals...Nice facility too. read more
