My wife and I love Yosemite, and have been looking to buy property in Groveland. The town is quaint…read moreand funky and you never know what you might find in a store. We had seen the Photo Gallery sign alongside the Cafe sign, and had never gone in this hidden gem of a place. You enter in to what feels like a person's front room-warm fire burning, people hanging out on couches; then you see another room filled with beautiful color landscape photos that are way above average. A must see for photography lovers.

We sit in the magic garden in comfy old Adirondack chairs, listening to the wind in the pines and breathing in the flora and fauna around us. Each time we try a different beverage and sweet from the cutest little coffee shop! So far we have met Emily, Brianne, Devin, Noah, Robb and David! Amazing beautiful warm human beings! We have listened to soul searching and thrilling music played over the intercom system and also enjoyed a lovely rendition of O Danny Boy sang by an 85 year old local! Magic magic magic ! Do not pass up Mountain Sage Coffee/Nursery/Gallery!!!! Robb Hirsch' famous photography will take your breath away (his work has been on the Sierra Club calendar and he has rave review showings at the beautiful Majestic Hotels in Yosemite!!!!). We will continue our travels next week but this tiny historical magical place will always be in our hearts and souls forever! We are going to purchase several of Robb's photos for family and friends!!!! Dreamy, comfy, captivating home away from home!!!!!

I do not recommend them at all. Even though I have still not received the photos, the service is…read moredeplorable and I am doing the review basically on the customer service feedback. They claim that the photos will be ready in three weeks, but it's been six weeks and despite having tried to contact them by email and telephone, the answers are ambiguous and unsatisfactory. The person, Julie, forgot to leave my son's photos at the school, and she then promised to send them to my house. She forgot to do that. After a week in which she did not answer emails or phone calls, she again promised she was going to send the photos immediately, but once again she forgot!. For the third time I tried to call her, and she did not remember where they were my photos, or if she had already sent them to me. Six weeks and still waiting for my son's pictures. I do not know if this person has some kind of problem that prevents her from being more professional, and if that is the case, I really feel sorry for her, but she should review her customer service, or hired another person who could be more reliable. Unfortunately my son's school asks the photos to her photo studio, I really hope they'll change to another next year.

This company contracts with my daughters school to take annual class photos. While there is nothing…read morehorrible about the specific service we've received, the overall service and quality is simply arcane. The photos are taken. There is only one shot per student. Then months later we receive an order form with a sample photo; Now for the singular innovation in 50 years - a website instead of a mail-in order form; We go to a cheesy website that could have been built by children, order our boring soviet style photos and pay the exorbitantly over-priced fee. What disappoints me is that parents have only one choice here - either buy mundane, boring over-priced photos or have no class photo of your children. These photographers have not changed the approach to school photos since I was a kid. They still offer only one pose (so good luck achieving that perfect smile) and these ridiculously expensive packages of lots of little photos for what? For us to mail by post to all of our relatives so that they can parade around crumpled photos of our kids in their wallets? Really?!?!? is that where we are ? Still ? Our school district does not even know how or why we have a contract with these people; Or at least they are not able to tell me and / or explain to me how they were selected as the best company to be awarded the contract. I pay $25 for two 5x7s of my daughter on some cheesy background. No school logo, no action poses, only the most cheesy choices of backgrounds and media print options. Why can't someone like Shutterfly disrupt the "school photos" industry? It's about time.
