Honest, professional and highly recommended. Unfortunately, Alpha Carpet and Duct Cleaning was not able to complete our HVAC Service and Duct Cleaning due to the location of our Furnace; not their fault! (Our home has a HRV, Heat Pump and Furnace - the furnace is installed on the third floor and not very accessible due to drywall surrounding it). Alpha did make a solid effort. Upon arrival they saw the potential for them having an issue with the fact the furnace was not completely accessible. They did offer to give it a try with our acknowledgement that they may not be 100% successful. Their stated goal right from the start was 100% done right and happiness from us. They got things 70% done and came to the conclusion that they would not hit their 100% standard. We chatted and took their advice to stop work and they generously offered to not bill us anything. They said that the work done was complimentary and left some advice on how to rebuild the wall surrounding the furnace so it could be serviced correctly. Alpha are true pro's. THEIR 'AFTER CARE' PROGRAM IS WHAT GETS THEM FROM 4.5 UP TO 5 STARS! While researching various carpet cleaning companies online, Alpha was competitively priced and with excellent service. My significant other - who shall remain unnamed ;) - spilled dirty grease from our BBQ all the way down the common hallway in our condo building. Alpha was able to book me in quickly which was great as I was concerned about the other owners in the building. They gave me a two hour window for their ETA which is better than standard for in-home services (i.e. the cable guy whose window seems to always be 'anytime before lunch' or 'anytime after lunch'). Michael called the morning of to let me know a more precise ETA which was a pleasant surprise. Then he arrived right on time with a smile on his face. I explained the situation and he went to work. (I also got the carpets cleaned inside the condo while he was there). The carpets looked great when he was done steam cleaning them. Unfortunately, those dirty grease stains had gotten in quite deep and, once the hallway carpet had dried, the stains re-appeared - improved but still not as good as I'd hoped. I contacted Alpha and they said they were happy to send Michael over again, at no charge! They have an 'After Care' program that guarantees they'll come again if necessary. Once again, they were able to book me in quickly and Michael returned, this time to shampoo instead of steam clean. The service was excellent and so far the carpet looks great.
