My experience absolutely went a lot better than how I initially imagined. I'm 25 and honestly, getting this procedure done made me soo nervous at first!! I was worried the worst was going to happen, or that maybe my healing was going to be super complicated, but everything went phenomenal!!! Dr. Cutright's team is super welcoming, and kind. They answered any questions that I had at any time, made sure that I was going to feel very comfortable about everything going on, and explained everything thoroughly which I appreciate very much!! They also asked if I wanted some ice cream to take home with me after the appointment, and gave me a list of flavors to pick from which was so freaking cool! They even let my husband come back there with me right before my procedure started, which was a big thing for me, helping me stay calm and comfortable. A bit after I got home, Dr. Cutright even gave us a call to make sure everything was going okay! He truly cares about his patients!!! Then they said we owed money but never sent us a bill. When we contacted them after we received an automated text they took over a week to contact us back and said we owed a bill for my daughter from May they fixed 7 cavities, but my daughter said only 3 I asked for verification that it was indeed 7 and they could only send my what they billed the insurance for. so I was curious I had x-rays from another dentist and sure enough, they said she only had three teeth that had ever been worked on. I find this funny because this was the only time my daughter went unaccompanied to her appt. So are they billing for more than what was done? I am currently in contact with my insurance company. I just received an e-mail from them saying I was dismissed by them for not following their policy about billing procedures. I find humor in this. When you ask questions they don't want to answer they dismiss you .

The front office re-arranged clients and did everything they could to get me in as fast as possible. I experienced a very sudden onset and rapid escalation of oral pain beginning on a Friday evening which necessitated emergency treatment the next Monday. Dr. Linscott was the only dentist in Athens whom would take me on such short notice. He rescheduled appointments and saw me two hours after I first called. The centrality of his office on Court Street makes him even more accessible to patients. Dr. Linscott treated me successfully to resolution of my case via root canal procedure. In treating me, Dr. Linscott could not have been gentler; in fact decidedly not treating the root canal immediately but first prescribing a strong oral antibiotic to reduce the infection before starting treatment. In my time since as his patient, he has continued to offer the best and gentlest treatment possible. Dr. Linscott's staff are collectively very professional and loyal. His office isn't fancy, but it is clear he remains current on emerging topics and his office is clean, well managed, and has all the tools and talent necessary to do a most effective job. Dr. Linscott remains my dentist today and will remain so, despite my pending relocation to Minnesota.
