I live in an older home built in the 1960's. I had an issue with outlets not working in one of my rooms. I know enough about DIY projects to do a lot of things myself, and I was able to trouble shoot it as an 'open neutral'. I replaced all the outlets but still had the issue, and concluded it was in the wiring. I called multiple highly rated 'fix it' companies. The first one was not going to touch the inside until I replaced my breaker box for over $15K. The second one was going to charge over $400 to re-diagnose what I already did, and then charge for the repair after that. Zach showed up on time, at a specific time, and with his knowledge of similar homes, figured out the issue and had it fixed in less than an hour and only charged the trip charge. After reading previous reviews, I called Zachary to fix a problem with my son's ceiling fan while we were visiting our son in Lakewood, CO. Zachary answered the phone right away to schedule an appointment. I called back a second time to see if he could come out a day earlier and left a voice mail message. Zachary returned my call within a few minutes and scheduled an appointment for 1 PM a day earlier. On the day of our appointment, he called to say his previous job was taking longer than expected but would be here within an hour and a half, which he did. I was very pleased at his promptness in returning calls and keeping me updated. When he arrived, he was able to fix our problem in no time at all and only billed me for the service call. Zachary with Alpha Electric, did some work on my house about a month ago, and it's great! He is a master electrician, and very professional. He came out within a few days of my initial call to do a walk through and estimate, and I had an appointment a week later. He had the whole job done in less than a day (reconnecting power, adding light switches, outlets, ceiling fans, outdoor outlets, and mounted remotes). He explained any hiccups through the process (only one area where we ran into brick behind drywall), which he quickly came up with an alternative solution for. He also cleaned up before he left. Completely happy with the entire experience - from the initial phone call to the final inspection of the service. We have used Zach on numerous occasions. We popped our 1911 home in 2008 and he did all of the upgrade wiring. He has done small jobs as well, installing ceiling fans, switching out light fixtures etc. Recently he did all of the electrical for our kitchen remodle.
